A beautiful view over the kantiang bay and the ocean on the West coast. The restaurant served nice food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The swimming pool was very clean. The stuff was very helpful and friendly and spoke very good english. We could clearly feel it was a family owned hotel. We recommend to go to the why not bar at the beach. Very cool place with nice cocktails and live music. We highly recommend this hotel and this area.

Could not be cleaner”

The most comfortable bed (+pillow) I had in Thailand so far. Bungalow super clean. All of their 9 Bungalows are pretty new. Kantiang View Resort is a good base to explore Kantiang Bay, beach and village.

Great views”

The bungalows here have good views, it is clean, and the staff is very pleasant. The location isnt the best - it's a short walk up a steep hill from the beach, and other hotels are closer, however it's a lot cheaper than those hotels so I thought it was a great value.

Location and views from hotel were outstanding clean pool. owner and staff really looked after us advising us and transporting us to where we wanted go.. very friendly food was very good.. sorry to leave Kantiang bay Lanta would return

Great Place to stay”

I stayed here for two nights with my fiance as we were travelling with four other friends. The rooms were fantastic and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the view from the pool was great. Unfortunately my room overlooked the main road (which is barely a road to be honest) so there were times where a little noise came in as mopeds etc drove past but I can't say it was too noticeable. The location isn't too far from the beach but if you are looking for beach front location this isn't it but you can rent mopeds from here so bonus. The hotel has a fantastic restaurant and a pool that has an incredible view. Would happily recommend this place and stay there again.

Awesome stay”

The staffs are very friendly and the view from my room is amazing. But the place is distant from city. Don’t worry too much cuz there are 711 nearby, exchange counter, nice restaurants and cool bars by the beach around. It’s only 10 mins walk to beach. I had a good time with my best friend.

Great stay! ”

The room was clean, quiet, with a very nice ocean view from the balcony. The view from the pool and restaurant must be one of the best views on the island. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. A good location, about 5 minutes walk from all the nearby restaurants, 7eleven (ATM) and the beautiful beach. Highly recommend

Excellent value”

These are new and well designed villas with generous balconies set in beautiful landscaped gardens and have stunning views of ban Kantiang bay. I could not fault the location, cleanliness or facilities. The food at the restaurant was some of the best I've had. As it was low season it was very quiet, but in any event there won't be noise from nearby bars in high season

Beautiful resort”

Kantiang View Resort was one of the nicest resorts we had stayed in while in Thailand. The resort is new, rooms spotless with a beautiful view. It is not on the beach, but within a 5-10 minute walk. There are a lot of steep stairs at this resort, which may be a problem for some people. Going to the pool, breakfast and beach all require climbing stairs. There also was no safe deposit box in the room, but they said they were going to get them. We had a nice balcony off the room that overlooked the ocean and we saw monkeys off our balcony twice. Nice pool. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved this resort. We wanted to stay in a location on Koh Lanta that was away from the tourist traps and Kantiang Beach was perfect. There was a long beach with very few people on it. Lots of restaurant choices on the way to the beach. We preferred these to the food at the hotel.

Lovely, New, clean and well maintained villas in the hill, with the view of kantiang bay. A lot of privacy:)awesome swimming pool. Nice, a bit slow, with not the Best English, but friendly staff. 5min walk from the kantiang beach. I would definitely come again:)

Great place to relax at Kantiang Bay”

We stayed for a week in Kantiang View Resort with my girlfriend and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean and atleast ours had a good aircon. The garden and the pool area are beautiful and the staff was friendly and helped to book trips to varioua places. Also the restaurants and kantiang beach are a 5 minute walk away so that was nice also. Best restaurant in the area was Chill Grill House just away from the main street!

Awesome views, awesome staff”

When I went to stay at Khlong Dao after staying at Kantiang View Resort for 2 nights, the people at Khlong Dao actually told us that Kantiang area is the best. Kantiang View Resort made it even better. It overlooks Kantiang bay. There are more great eating places at Kantiang compared to the north. The gentleman called Boy is humorous. The bedroom and bathroom were big and great. I miss their resident ginger cat already.

Amazing value ”

Gorgeous pool with stunning views. Really nice staff. The room was nice and modern and one of the cleanest we’ve stayed in.

Great Location - But not much else is great”

The location of this hotel is top notch. You have a full view of the bay, its just a little way from the beach so you avoid most of the tourists, so making it a quieter location. The villas are good, built modern, nice and private. Beware that the toilets block all the time. The restaurant and the top bar were closed the entire time we were there, so no facilities at all bar a swimming pool. The main downfall was the staff at the hotel. Never there, weren't very helpful when they were and they tried to rip us off on airport transfer, overcharged us for laundry and hired a scooter which came with no petrol in and was expensive. We put out a sign to clean our villa but no one came, only if you see them in person and tell them will they come to clean. I was very happy with the villas themselves and the location, but the staff really let this place down.

They advertise a double bed and when you get there it is two twin beds pushed together, with a hard lump in the middle. Old rooms in a bad location, cold american breakfast, I mean complete cold, even the fried eggs. Wouldn't stay again

Terrific place with a great view!”

Clean rooms, small family-vibe, beautiful view of the beach and Andaman sea from the terraces, and even more so from the swimming pool. Really enjoyed our second stay here and would highly recommend this place if you're looking to explore Kantiang Bay.

Awesome place, superb Thai food (it could be just a restaurant) & delightful people ”

If you are looking for peace & tranquility away from the hussle & bustle then look no further. We love this place, hence having found it last year we have returned and will continue to. Lovely comfortable rooms that were very clean, super pool where you could relax & chill, amazing views, helpful friendly people who couldn’t do enough for us and the food... we have been coming to Thailand for many years now and this must be one of the most authentic delicious examples we have tasted. This place was for us Thai through & through. The only negative which is not their fault, is that for us we don’t find the area of Kantiang as friendly as other parts of Lanta, but we come here to chill on the 1st leg of our holiday so staying here is certainly no hardship!!! We now can’t wait to return 😊

Bungalows are fantastic”

We've absolutely enjoyed our stay at Kantiang View Resort. Bungalows are fantastic, you are close enough to Kantiang Bay to walk ... very easy to go to the beach, or plenty of restaurants. Would certainly recommend

Excellent with a few caveats”

Many things about the resort were excellent. It's location, its small size, amazing views, and nice pool. Some things were not ideal: my room was close to the road so quite a bit of motorbike noise, though it gets fairly quiet at night. The bed is super hard, but this is typical in Thailand. Breakfast was decent, though it might be good for them to make brewed coffee instead of instant coffee. The location is great...very close to the little town of Kantiang and about 7-8 minute to the closest beach. Ask for a room closer to the pool and you need to indicate that you'd like your room cleaned; they won't do so automatically.

Amazing Place!”

I would absolutely return to Kantiang View Resort, without question. The resort has a picturesque view, an amazing restaurant and the family that runs it is incredibly friendly and kind. They did everything to ensure we had a wonderful time and assisted us with coordinating the airport taxi. I can't say enough good things about their hospitality.
