Beautiful, clean and prime location”
This hotel had beautiful decor, was spotless throughout and all their staff were extremely polite and friendly. I went with my partner for 3 nights away and it was fantastic. The location is no more than 5 mins walk from Amsterdam Central train station It is walking distance to absolutely everywhere but is out of the hustle and bustle of cafes/shops by 2-3 mins meaning a lovely peaceful night sleep was easily obtained. Had room service one lunch and the food was amazing (restaurant quality) and not ridiculously over-priced for hotel food (Amsterdam in general is VERY expensive - and I live in London....) There is an amazing sushi restaurant literally opposite the hotel called Sumo (has an all you can eat menu as well as al a carte for those who can eat their body weight in food!) and I highly recommend the food there. Can not fault the hotel at all and I can usually find a problem with any place I stay at. Would I go and stay at this hotel again? Absolutely!

Perfect spot in Amsterdam”
The Klimpton De Witt is ideally located, close to Central Station, close to shopping, food, and entertainment. Lots of amenities, including tea in lobby area during day and water, 24 hours. In Europe, getting adequate water to drink that you don't have to pay a couple Euros per glass is wonderful! The hotel also has a wine happy hour every day which is well attended and much appreciated. The lobby is spacious and comfortable so if you need a place to chill for a short time, it's ideal. You can't go wrong with accommodations like this.

Great Hotel!”
We loved this hotel. Our room was spacious and clean (standard king). Upon arrival we found complimentary bottles of wine and water and some sweets. We were also give 2 15 euros vouchers for the bar as well as card for free afternoon punch with snacks. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We can't recommend this hotel enough. We will definitely return to it when we are back in Amsterdam.

Excellent stay”
Beautiful room. Friendly staff. The ambience was modern and fun. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. Location is in between the train station and where all the action was, so it’s an easy walk for us either way. The room was very dry though. Felt parched every night, having to wake up to drink lots of water.

Really clean, comfortable and beautiful hotel! we've stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every second of it! The location is 3 minutes walk from the central station and Dam square, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming! We'd recommend this place for all of our friends going to Amsterdam! Thank you!

The Kimpton DeWitt is nearby Central Station and well-located for almost everything that Amsterdam has to offer. The hotel itself is super convenient - big, comfortable lobby, friendly staff, afternoon wine hour, restaurants in hotel, and the room's size and arrangement are excellent. In good weather or bad, this is the place to stay

Service at the hotel was great. They were very attentive to details and very welcoming. Everyone at the front desk had huge smiles. I would like to thank Mr. Andrea at the concierge for being very helpful. He brought our luggage to our room and gave a very short but detailed explanation of what's where in the room and hotel. The room was very spacious and well stocked with all the necessities. I would definitely come back to this hotel during my next trip.

The staff is super welcoming and helpful. I was upgraded to a room and allowed an early check-in without even asking. Even though my room wasn't huge, it had all anyone would need... And it is in the middle of everything! It is really thought to make life easier. My husband purchase a movie by mistake, and they erased it from the bill as soon as they heard about the confusion. Really costumer friendly! Would go back always!

We stayed in two rooms for five nights, wonderful service, as is expected from a Kimpton property. The rooms are airy and beautiful, although my only quibble is with the side tables, which seem to have a design flaw (heavy marble tops supported by thin, unsubstantial legs)that make them dangerous for small children scurrying around. Aside from that small complaint, I was very impressed by this hotel. Our children were treated so well, each got a beautiful stuffed bear as a keepsake from the hotel, which I thought was a lovely personal touch. The location is ideal, close to the train stairs on with all tram lines and metro options less than a five minute walk, and a 15 minute walk to Jordaan and lots of high street style shopping just behind the hotel. The hotel restaurant, where we had breakfast, was mediocre, but I’ve heard the dinner there is better, and breakfast options are plentiful. Overall an excellent experience!

Wonderful Stay”
The room was very spacious which is very uncommon in Europe. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located within 5 mins walk to the Amsterdam Centraal Station as well as the Dam Square. Overall, it is a money-worth stay and we will definitely return!

I recommend this hotel for Families and groups, as their poultry service and facilities are excellent. The front desk and Concerige team is always there to support you.

Close to train. Good bed and bedding.Nespresso in room. Hot tea and water available in lobby. Very quiet and clean. Can walk to many things. Room is good size and shower great. Had trouble figuring out how to work shower. Many places to eat nearby. Thermostat to control room temp somewhat hidden -found it by accident. Breakfast overpriced for non expense account travelers.
