Clean, spacious and perfectly located.”
Pros - perfect location on beautiful swimming beach - clean and spacious rooms -very nice pool -loads of restaurant around - tranquil and peaceful place to rest well. Cons- not many really, maybe a suggestion to place a basket at the pool so that guests can throw their used towels in as they often just leave it on the loungers and then the next guest is unsure if it is occupied or not, which most of the times wasn't. So maybe a sign at the pool area to remove your towel when you are leaving and not coming back would definitely help.

Good for family travellers ”
Nice beach front resort. Friendly staff, very clean, complete facility. Location is good if you like dining from restaurants or bars on the beach. You can rent motobike to go to town and other beaches. Room is a bit old, but fully fuctional. I like the garden and swimming pool and staff are very helpful. It will be nicer if resort can offer free breakfast and other meals since the restaurant lcoation is right on the beach with nice sunset view. I spent New Year Eve with fantastic fireworks show on the beach. Value for money at peak season.

Average hotel at a great location”
Pros: -comfortable bed -excellent location -good aircon -sufficient hot water -same day laundry Cons: -room was infested with mosquitos, like nothing we've ever seen and it didn't make sense because we saw so few mosquitos anywhere else on the island. (Killed 9 our first night - more got away. Similar #s the next night. We kept the door and windows closed and the A/C running while we were in the room, wore bug spray, kept the lights off, etc. but there were an insane number.) After several days of back and forth with the front desk - we cut it down to only a few mosquitos per night. A combo mosquito net + spraying the room with heavy insecticide + fixing two leaks helped. - wifi was terrible. the first 24 hrs we had zero wifi in our room- you couldn't even see a signal. but after more back and forth they moved the receiver close enough that the network showed up as an option. still wasn't great but at least it was something - mediocre breakfast and not a great deal at $8/day for 2

Nice beachfront resort but keep valuables in check”
We stayed in Laguna Beach Club Resort for 4 nights in Feb 2019. The resort is right on the beach and near to the main ferry station. Tour operators pick you up directly from the beach, which makes the location convenient. The staff was helpful in providing advice on things to do and places to visit, but tour prices were on the higher side at the resort, which is expected. We booked our tours from a nearby travel operator at almost 25% lesser prices. Breakfast is decent for 120 baht per person. Motorbikes in good condition were available for rent at 250 baht per day. Having said all this, we had a major bummer during our stay. We were newly married and my wife lost her engagement ring at the resort. She kept it in one of her handbags which she forgot to take it along one day while leaving the resort. The next day when she checked the bag, the ring was missing. We brought it to the notice of the hotel owner, who had the room searched and offered to call the police on our behalf. Though we were pretty sure that the ring was stolen, we decided to not call the police as it was our last day in koh Lanta and we didn't want to waste valuable vacation time as we were not sure how much would the police be able to help. The hotel owner was understanding and offered a token of friendliness at the end of our stay, which we really appreciate. Word of advice to fellow travelers - keep your valuables in the locker before leaving the room!

Had a reptile in front of my doorstep, cockroaches and red worms in the sink. I saw a bedbug in my bed. Lots lots of mostquitos even if we kept the door close. wasnt able to slept for two night. We just stay 2 days of the 5 night because family problems. I had no money back because of Agoda reservation, but I wish they try to give us even free the laundry.

Loud noise from longtailboats and smelly bathroom”
Located nearby pier, noise from longtailboats all the time. Pool was dirty the first day, was ok afterwards. Extremly smelly bathroom, was not fixed despite several requests at the reception. Mold on walls in the room, partly covered by fresh paint. Breakfast ok. Would stay at Railay West another time.

Vacation like in Pardise”
Our Family stayed in this beautiful hotel one week. It was awesome! Large room right to quite big and clear swimming pool. Hotel is located on very large, sandy and silent beach. See was warm and clear. Hotel staff was still nice, smiling and all our needs were immediately solved. Big thanks to taxi drivers (especially very kind lady) for two amazing travel days cross Koh-Lanta. This hotel is highly recommended for awesome staying! Thank you

Nice resort, right on the beach”
Stayed for a week. Nice, cute resort. Get a bungalow away from the pool. It can get noisy when big groups or kids are there. Staff is very friendly. The chaise lounges are rigid plastic and uncomfortable to sit on. They should have toppers. The umbrellas are old and too small and not protecting much. Rooms are clean and in pretty good maintenance order. Far to walk to the main street. Great restaurant (Chef Chalong) nearby.

Fantastic place for chilled out stay”
This is a great hotel. Located on nice beach close to restaurants and shops. Personel is super nice and helpful and the receptionist is a real star. Rooms are spacious and cleaned daily- again ladies cleaning rooms are doing amazing job. I would definitely go back

Good for a beach holiday”
The location for the beach was perfect, unfortunately if you wished to go to town or anywhere away from the beach it was a taxi ride or long walk. There were plenty of alternative restaurants/ bars all along the beach, all of a similar price range. check in/out was efficient.My room was good, the bed was good, housekeeping good. The staff friendly and helpful. The only downside was, a very poor shower and a constant smell of drains

The hotel is good for the price I paid. However while I expected the area to be quiet it is very quiet compared to many locations in Thailand. That said,if you want a lazy beach holiday with very little to do then this is an ideal place to visit. Rooms are fairly basic, spacious and clean, staff are very helpful and pleasant. The pool is of an adequate size and clean. The hotel could do with a proper restaurant but I think this is its only drawback ans there are plenty of beach bars/restaurants along the beach.

Great bungalow by the beach ”
My bungalow was only a few metres from the beach. It was a great size and the bed was comfortable by Thai standards. The cleaning staff were great. The reception staff were pretty average. One of the receptionists was lovely. The other receptionist had better english, but she was pretty rude and rolled her eyes when i didn't understand what she was saying. The wifi was the worst i've experienced in Thailand. When it was connected the download speeds were fast, however the upload speed was unusable for voice or video calls. It would also dropout constantly and you had to keep connecting and disconnecting it. In this part of Lanta, i also only got 3G cellular using True. They also don't provide free breakfasts, and most do. I would stay here again, but i'd probably check availability at nearby bungalows first, there was a couple that looked like better value.

We stayed at Laguna Beach Club for one night after returning from Koh Lipe. The staff were very friendly and great with our 2.5-year-old daughter. Having stayed down on Klong Nin Beach for one week prior to our Koh Lipe visit, I must say the location of Laguna Beach Club disappointed us a bit as Klong Dao beach is nowhere near as nice as Klong Nin. In saying that we chose it for it's close proximity to the ferry and for that it is fantastic. The rooms are quite dark, but otherwise fine in typical 3-star Thai style. I'd say this is a pretty good hotel for people on a budget, especially families. The water in the pool is a bit murky (the water looks clean but isn't entirely clear) and the lovely waterfall shown in the pictures is not working, but otherwise the pool is OK and of a decent size. The on-site massage ladies are very friendly and the massage is good. Unfortunately the resort doesn't offer meals, which we would have liked for convenience, but there are plenty of places just a short stroll down the beach. Breakfast can be arranged by purchasing coupons from reception the day before, which we did as we were leaving early. I wouldn't recommend it if you have time to go elsewhere, it was a rather meager serve. All in all though I would say this is a pretty good resort for families with young children, traveling on a budget.

Laguna Beach Club has worked out well for us - twice. Nice, simple, clean, unpretentious, on the beach hotel that we enjoy. Everything is good or better. The staff were wonderful and the beach is nice. We'll be back, I'm sure...

Great week on the beach”
We had a great week on the beach. Laguna Beach was helpful as we made arrangements, helped us with transportation, and was located in the perfect place for us. We followed their recommendations for scuba diving and snorkeling and had great days. We plan on coming back next year.
