We stayed here on our trip for one night. Very relaxing, Stunning view over the lake and restaurant and bar had a great buzz about it. Awesome place to stay.

We stayed in the backpackers lodge in a room with a queen bed. It was exactly as advertised, and cheap as chips at just over $60 a night. The sink in the room was handy, the kitchen and lounge was a really nice space which was well equipped. The bathrooms are basic and a bit tired but perfectly adequate and the shower pressure was awesome! It met all of our needs, it was lovely to pop down to the bar for a game of pool, and just relaxing in paradise was food for the soul. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, thank you. We would definitely use it as a home base again ❤

Priceless experience”
Rooms are tastefully furnished although the entrance look a little shabby. Million dollar view of Lake Hawea. Good restaurant with excellent food and excellent staff.

Stunning view and location. Staff excellent. Surrounding walks outstanding. Overall fantastic experience. Balconies need a bit of TLC but a small quibble.

Generally OK. However there were few things that didn't work well such as the power cut off constantly when heater was switched on. Limited cooking facility too.

Good location with lake view. However it’s a bit pricey. 10 mins away from Wanaka Town.

Superb location. very quiet. outlook onto lake. hotel itself a bit tired. clean but carpets stained but overall perfectly acceptable. The location makes up for everything.
