Wonderful, homely resort! ”
At the first sight we came to Lanta Manda, we felt like home! A small resort in very nice location with spacious bungalows. Bungalows were not new, but they were partly renovated. They were very comfortable. Nice own patio where you could sit and enjoy the jungle feel. There were some mosquitos, but not too many. We had a mosquito coil outside, and we used some spray inside, no problem. Only con were too hard bed, but the staff were so friendly, that when I asked for an extra blanket for the mattress (to bring softness), they brought it the same day. And another on the next day! With two extra blankets I could sleep well. Location was near everything, the beach, 7/11, breakfast places (highly recommend Fruit tree lodge!), and restaurants, both at the beach and on the streets. Also laundry places were near. Motorbikes are for rent at the resort. There were option to get breakfast at the hotel, but very few people used it and we never went there.

Great location, great comfort, perfect staff!”
Ideally located in a quiet area within the popular Long Beach, with only a short walk to reach the sand. Villas are clean and comfortable and allow access to 2 good swimming pools. Excellent value for money and a host who couldn't do enough to help us. Thank you Merry, hopefully we will see you again, very soon. Highly recommended!

Spacious & clean units”
Excellent value for money, 2 nice pools, only downside is a steep hill to some of the units, fortunately ours was closer to the bottom but shouldn't be a problem if you have transport. Units are very clean and large with 2 balconies. Toilet flush is very weak,I know it's thai style but still, even with no tissue it did not flush well, maybe it was just ours so no real issue. Staff are friendly but reception was often unoccupied when I went there. All in all, good stay, especially for what you pay. Visit Malinas restaurant about a 5 min walk to the left of the resort when coming out. Their food is absolutely delicious.

Nice place”
The resort is nice, with good, clean facilities. The room is large and is cleaned everyday which was nice. It was slightly over priced for what you get, but I think this was due to the Christmas period. The staff were very kind and friendly and are happy to help with anything. Thank you

Very cosy and clean bungalows with fridge and aircon. Cleaning was every day. We booked a snorkeling trip and transportation to airport via reception. A bit of a walk to the beach depending where your bungalow is. Very close to a 7 Eleven. There is one pool up the hill (steep walk). The other pool was 2 out of our 4 days of staying out of order.

Lovely room and shower. Having your own bungalow was nice being able to dry clothes and relax on the chairs outside. Easy scooter rental to drive to national park area. 2 nice pools although one of them seemed to have a broken filter during our stay. Right next to 7/11 and fridge in the room for storing water/fresh milk.

There was no breakfast or restaurant, which was a small disappointment. There are restaurants on the street, though.

Great bungalow accommodation”
Loved our stay at Lanta Manta. We rented a scooter onsite that made getting around the island super easy. Fantastic, quiet beaches within a few minute ride. The resort has lots of restaurants, fruit stands and mini marts within walking distance. Unit was very clean and spacious.

Good price n location However... Change of bed sheet n towel n make up room r schedule every fourth day of stay... meaning room will not be cleaned for 3 days.

The bungalows are very outdated. Inside there was a bad smell. First night we asked for change and staff agreed however other houses were the same. The issue is that windows, curtains and old furnitures should be definitely properly clean / washed. Second point is aircondion: looks like it was never cleaned. I could saw black places inside. Mosquito net in the window should be fixed. In the room we had fridge and safe. Breakfast was very basic. Each day the same. It was good but after 4th day we wanted to eat anything else :). Swimming pool near to main road was closed however there was second and better pool up on the hill (not enough sun beds). All other things were amazing. Island is beautifull, location of this hotel is perfect, staff was friendly and speak english. The place looks very nice outside of the bungalows and we had nice time spend on the terrace. Also we have got metal bottles to refill water which was available any time at the reception(to reduce plastic).

Nice place and value for money”
This is a nice place and is good value for money. The water pressure was a little low for my liking and the bed was too hard, but that's just my preference (a goldilocks moment). The staff are friendly and welcoming and the location is quiet.

Steep hill”
We were mainly happy with our stay. Our room were high up on the hill so the walk there was tough. The pools were in OK condition, one of them was a bit hard to find though. The room was OK too, didn't get any hand soap in the bathroom though. The beach just below the resort wasn't that nice; we prefered biking more north. Recommend the café across the street - really lovely breakfast and coffee & mango shake.

Good AC”
We were two couples who stayed here for 3 nights. It was nice to have our own private rooms. There are two pools, the upper pool being the best. However, there were only about 5 chairs by the upper pool which was a little odd. The AC in the room is excellent. The fridges in both our rooms didn’t seem to work. The location was okay, there are some good restaurants in walking distance.

An Ok budget stay for a night or two”
We had problems with the bathrooms, showers and the rooms that we booked but the pool that we used at the top of the hill was great and the staff are friendly.

The place is fine, nice big room, decent pool, but the service is very lacking. ”
When we arrived mid aft (after check in time) we were told the room wouldn’t be ready for an hour. We left our bags in reception and went to eat next door. Returning over an hour later we found our bags unattended in an empty reception. After waiting for quite a while we were taken up to our room. No water provided in the room, you have to fill up metal bottles at reception and carry them up to your room - ours was a good 5 minute walk uphill from reception which in Thai heat isn’t fun. The bath was stained and not inviting. On the first night we found the front window wouldn’t lock and so could be easily opened from the outside. We had to move one bed nearer ours to feel safe. We reported this to reception twice but over the three nights we were there they didn’t attempt to fix it. It’s a shame as the location is ok, and lanta is beautiful. The pool at the top is wonderful (we didn’t use the other), and the houses are good size. But sadly it is let down by the service

Nice but all uphill”
Was lovely and quiet and near to everything. Only downside is the whole resort is on a hill so any one with mobility issues (like me) is unsuitable and they do not offer any help. The bigger pool was further up hill also

Place was nothing like photos. We had superior bungalow however it wasn't really superior. Photos show nice cosy room with pillows, night stands etc. This furniture was missing in our room. Also wifi is very bad. If you work remotely avoid this place. Pool was ok, cleaning is every two days. There are better places in ko Lanta
