Luxury! ”
We LOVED our one night stay at Lanta Resort. We stumbled upon their restaurant for dinner whilst staying elsewhere on the island - we ended up walking through the complex to get back to the road and realised how amazing the pool facilities were. Having struggled with the heat on the beach for the last few days we decided to spend our last day/night on the island at Lanta Resort in luxury! It was really cheap for the room and facilities available. For most of our day by the pool we either had it to ourselves or shared with one other group. It was so peaceful and to great cooling off in the pool!!! We had lunch and happy hour cocktails by the pool. As we’d already eaten dinner at their beach restaurant, we decided to eat dinner at the Sayang Beach Resort next door which was great!

It was a good place worth of the money - quiet and clean with very friendly staff. The ladies could speak a little better english, but they always tried to make us happy. The beach was great, clean and spacious. The resort could try to provide better services for water sports such as snorkeling or stand-up paddling. Overall great place!

We stayed in a grand deluxe bungalow and could not fault it plenty of room and big bathroom . easy access to the beach with good restaurants . staff where very friendly and helpful especially the lady on the tour desk. We enjoyed it there so much we extended our stay .

recommended the room with entrance in the pool directly from the balcony. amazing!! Very big compared with the standard here and super nice! Staff very kind and helpful, amazing pool with hydromassage, and beach just 5 minutes walking. Our stay here has been perfect!

Brilliant resort, right on the beach - the pool is stunning. There are great bars/massage/food places right next to the resort so you dont have to travel far for fantastic nightlife and food

We stayed in a pool access room Rooms were huge and nicely decorated Bed was massive and very comfortable I’d recommend pool access as that pool was solely for the purpose of a few rooms we had it to ourselves Only downside was walls between rooms were not soundproof could hear tv next door Would definitely stay here again given the chance

Fantastic pools and good location on the beach. Rooms are spacious but with bare minimum accessories, ie, no hand towels or face washer provided.

This resort was really enjoyable. Large pool and excellent private beach. Beach bar and restaurant were on the expensive side for what you get but there is a good selection of other restaurants further along the beach. Rooms could do with some modernisation. Resort grounds need further development

Best swimming pool of our trip, most of the staff were great, scooter rental was hassle free, rooms are big. The only issue was we had to kill about 20 mosquitos in our room everyday bar the last day.

I messed up the reservation days and lost my passport. The front desk fixed everything and even drove my passport to the ferry I was boarded on.

Pros are good staff and clean. Cons are not enough sun loungers around the pool at all. And the umbrellas dangerous when the wind picks up, seen some heavy metal ones blowing away that could seriously have hurt a small child. They need to be secured properly. Resort is so big that the backside roads are virtually next to the main road rather than beach side. But nice enough resort.

Nice resort with clean rooms. We found the poolwater a bit to warm and not so refreshing as it could have been, but a nice big pool, with good facilities around it. Some places the resort looked a bit worn down, but we would recommend it to friends and family.

Charmless hotel but still ok”
The vibes are not that good as the staff look a little bored and there are fine signs in many places, the buildings look big but empty and not nicely decorated. However the swimming pools are big and nice, and there is an access to the beach directly from the pool (200m). I was expecting a very disappointing breakfast given the previous reviews left by other guests, however I was positively surprised, it wasn’t bad at all. We had a buffet every morning (high peak season) that was good. Not the best quality and the finest food (cakes were not freshly cooked for instance) but still ok. There are many restaurants along the beach, be ready for higher price point because of the location. I have mixed feelings about this hotel and I am not too sure if I would recommend it to friends but one thing for sure is the bed was comfortable. The mattress was firm but not hard (foam instead of springs).
