Fabulous Beach, Awesome staff, beautiful resort”
This is the best beach amongst many beautiful beaches and it is a very comfortable and beautiful resort, with great pool, nice food, glorious spot, lovely rooms. The small plunge pool in our villa was perfect during the hot hot days. But best of all were the staff. Great smiles, repeatedly went out of their way to help, and really seem to love their job. Shout out to Jordan, and to Petter and Su, who took especially good care of my coeliac husband. Will come back.

My husband and I stayed here for the last leg of our Thailand honeymoon, and it really felt luxurious. I had emailed them before arriving to ask about transportation and happened to mention that we were on our honeymoon. When we arrived, we saw that they had arranged the cutest display on the bed congratulating us. We loved the private plunge pool and the outdoor shower. They have free beach towel rentals from the spa, a great breakfast buffet, and a beach bar with really nice places to lounge right along the sand. The location is ideal, being so close to the water, and in the middle of several other beach restaurants and bars in case you don't want to pay the resort prices to eat or drink. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we organized their hotel transfer back to the airport for our flight home. They had us leave a bit early as it only took about 2 hours to get to the airport and they wanted to allow for 3 hours, but it's better to get there too early rather than too late.

Would recommend Lanta Sand for your stay. Best beach on The main section of Lanta. Staff very friendly, breakfast is good, rooms nice and clean, even by western standards. Tons of restaurants and store options on beach but it’s still a great place to relax ( or retire permanently). Sunsets are amazing. Rent a scooter and check out the rest of Lanta, paradise.

Location is magnificent, Leo and Jordan are hands-on with everything you need. The kitchen staff were always ready for our big group. Check-in was efficient and faultless. My sister has some issues with her card at the bank and the resort staff assisted her with transport and translation at the bank. Amazing! The only let-down is the food. The breakfast is the same everyday and dinner is not up to standard but luckily a wide variety of very good restaurants close by. I feel the resort loses a lot of business during dinner times when guests go and search for alternative places to eat, instead of having a good meal at the hotel.

Our favourite place in Koh Lanta”
It is our second time coming to Lanta Sand. This resort is our favourite place as a family. It has a beautiful beach, great location and the friendliest staff in Thailand. The villas are great value for money and we love lounging around on the beach in the hammocks. Their bar is well stocked, and they have amazing sunsets. We prefer to rent our own car and to have dinner and lunch all around the island. That way we experience a real Koh Lanta holiday. We will return again and again.

Beautiful hotel, helpful friendly staff ”
Such a beautiful hotel on the beach, very clean and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Jordan (I think that was his name!), office manager, was exceptionally helpful. Rooms were cleaned everyday and there was plenty of room for a family of 4 in the family room. I would definitely recommend. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Fantastic Family Getaway”
Stayed with my wife and three kids and absolutely loved the resort. We had booked two villas with the plunge pool and were pleasantly surprised of the design and size (especially the bathroom). Everything at the resort is very well maintained and spotless. Spend every day by the beach front with plenty of sun beds and those net beds (very chillaxing). The sunset bar offers two happy hours a day (from 12-2pm and 5pm-7pm) which we didn’t mind at all. Overall a perfect and wonderful stay for the entire family - thank you!!!

Great find, stunning location”
We got a fabulous deal for this hotel and spent the night in a deluxe pool access room. The room was huge with seperate lounge area, the bed was big and comfortable and the pillows amazing. Happy Hour cocktails at the sunset bar were fantastic, as was dinner in the restaurant

Buffet breakfast was nice. Staff was all excellent. A special thanks to Leo, Jordon, and Matt they were all very helpful. Pools were great, small but nice AC gym. Dinner special was good. Got a discount on breakfast maybe cause of low season. Great price through Agoda along with my money earned it was a home run. The plunge pool in room was different along with out door shower. Rooms were big. Only negative think to say is the mosquito problem all over Lanta. Bring repellent! Would highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Lanta Sands was wonderful! The staff are friendly and speak excellent English. The room was spacious, clean, and luxurious. The resort extends all the way to the beach and there are plenty of spaces to grab a drink and watch the sunset. We would definitely stay there again!

Lanta sand is very beautiful located right at the long Beach.. Not far from saladan pier.. Villa plunge pool was just amazing.. Sunset at the beach is equally mesmerizing.. Staff was very helpful and took good care of us.. Motor bike available for rent at the hotel itself.. Good massage is also available at the hotel.. All in all I will definitely come back again in lanta sand resort & spa.. Thank you guys..

Perfect sized resort, not too big and not too small. Excellent helpful staff. Scooters could be newer, but was convenient to rent at the hotel. We started out in a villa with a plunge pool and then moved to a swim up room at the front with a view of the beach. Glad we did cause the plunge pool was pretty well useless and felt claustrophobic, but the villa room was very spacious. We just wanted to be able to see the ocean. All in all an excellent stay. We stayed in Lanta for 4 nights and it was so nice! Beautiful hotel and the staff were so friendly. Its right on the beach ,but it's a very nice and quiet area. I also recommend a very nice restaurant, if you go up in the street and to the right. It's a small cozy place named Galapagos, a very kind woman working there and the food was so good ! I would definitely go back to Lanta sand resort!

You can’t go wrong with this hotel. The location is right on Long Beach. There are great restaurants right beside the hotel, even though the hotel restaurant is very good as well. The Breakfast is the best that I have had on this 1 month trip! The sunsets are amazing, happy hour everywhere, and a cheap tuk tuk ride into saledan town (the pier). I highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful resort on gorgeous stretch of beach!”
I stayed here with my 10-year-old son, and we had a fantastic time! The resort is beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff are exceptional. The beach is a very short walk away, from anyplace on the resort. We enjoyed the beachfront restaurants adjacent to the resort. There was even a convenience store "next door." The spa is very nice, although I found it strange that they don't offer you a traditional set of loose-fitting Thai clothing to get a massage. It's a bit uncomfortable to wear your street clothes if you weren't expecting this. My only real complaint of the resort was that the beds were VERY hard, even by Thai standards.

Booked this last minute as we had to checkout from our other hotel that was terrible. Lanta sand definitely turned out holiday experience into a positive and memorable one. Jordan and lovely lady at reception (didn’t get her name) was excellent, always helpful and was very easy to speak with. Came here during low season, one day was stormy and still enjoyed the beach and pools. The beach bar was also nice.

We stayed here for three nights in a villa with a private plunge pool. The room was lovely. The beachfront was amazing. The breakfast was wonderful, with the restaurant right at the beach. All the staff was so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a beach front stay in Koh Lanta.

great value for money , jordan is the best guy there, right on the beach and he was the one who booked this hotel for us through his phone. we just asked him to arrange 2 nights stay somewhere on the island and his choosed the best ever stay for us. highly recommend.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE! Beautiful grounds and GREAT value for your money!”
Lanta Sand exceeded my expectations. I was very impressed by how beautifully maintained the grounds are. Very lush and nice paved paths. My boyfriend uses a wheelchair and they had ramps all throughout. The only tough part was getting down to the ocean because there are stairs to go to the sand, but the staff are more than willing the help. We stayed in the plunge pool room - extremely spacious with big bathroom. The food is pricey, which is to be expected at a resort. But there are cheaper restaurants within walking distance - go to Soi 14, nicest couple you will ever meet owns the restaurant and cooks the food. We went in late March and it felt like there was barely anywhere there, very quiet. You can easily catch a tuk tuk from the resort to other areas on the island, and also the staff are very helpful in booking excursions. We booked a snorkeling tour with them as well as our ferry tickets. We would definitely go back!
