One night stay for my exam venue near the hotel

good enough”

hotel is good, we stayed for three nights, its a little distant to main attractions like eiffel tower, arch de triomphe, etc. area is not very safe as a lot of refugees are camping out nearby one night we were awaken and look out through the window and saw two refugees fighting over a bag( i dont know if one of them stole it) but they were shouting at each other and it was so scary!

The location is very bad there are homeless at the front of the hotel, and drug dealers.”

Really I didn’t enjoy, it’s not good for family,

avoid, avoid, avoid. Hotel is situated in the worst area of Paris.”

Hundreds of immigrants 20 meters all around the hotel, no way to take Porto la champele metro station u will only need Uber and to get outside hotel only upon arrival. If u can avoid it, then just avoid, no reason to get your family in danger. The hotel is just fine, the proplem is that is situated in the wrong area. This reference is about the area, not the hotel. French government must do something about....

You must be gunman to go in this area .It is not born in mind , how danger area is there. You must thing good before you go there. The staff is excellent

The location is terrible!!! Right under a flyover where the homeless congregate. Breakfast which is very limited and not replenished is served on paper plates. I haven’t never been to a 4 star hotel which serves food on paper plates. You should be ashamed of yourself Novotel.

Enjoyed the stay, hotel staffs are friends, only problem was road works at that area therefore the bus to airport took pretty long

+ Room spacious + Area strategic + Dark & quiet room, decent bed &bathroom + Decent Wifi - They changed the entire breakfast room. Seats are not comfortable, feels cold atmosphere, and most of all the breakfast is really NOT good. Little choice, coffee is bad, juices also, cardboard plate???, ... Overall a goof hotel, unfortunately the breakfast has become really bad.

Nice hotel, ok neighborhood”

Perfect for short stays, and people who know Paris / St. Denis. The neighborhood is not far from the city centre but is a bit suspect. Some people may not feel comfortable walking around at night. Best to know where you are going. If you take a taxi or uber then all is OK. Hotel was VERY safe. Need hotel key to get everywhere; front door, elevator, room, patio. Room was nice, with a decent view although the neighborhood has construction happening next door. Be smart.

Terrible location”

We were expecting a 4 star hotel which was rated "Fantastic", but this is far from it. The hotel is located on a terrible neighborhood, very scary to walk at night. The nearest Metro Station is at 8 minutes walk, so we had to take a taxi cab to avoid walking in this dangerous zone. The first room they gave us smelled really bad, like dirty sweat, so we asked to be changed, so they gave us another room, which smelled ok, but the bathroom smelled like piss, we couldn't take it, so the next day we booked on another hotel, south of Paris (beautiful area) and of course the Novotel did not refund our money back.

Terrible location”

The hotel staff are pretty good and helpful, and the room is big. BUT never go there, the area is too dangerous that we used to take a taxi from the train station to the hotel, which is only 3 minutes walk. the neighborhood is ugly, think a hundred times before you visit this place specially if you have your family with you. some people might stop you and push you for money. I liked the hotel, but I will never recommend it to anyone.
