Stayed 7 nights and loved every day. So happy we booked this place. The staff were so nice, had a completely massage and mint water when checking in (it's the little things). Two awesome pools one right by the beach. The beach access is really nice as we had our own sun chairs. We stayed in the pool view room and thought it was great, big balcony with a nice view. We walked the beach many times and said to ourselves we booked the best place. I don't think you'll find a better place for the price. If we ever return to lanta this is where we'll stay.

Absolutely enjoyable stay at this beautiful resort. The Superior room was clean and spacious, facing swimming pool and lovely garden. There are 2 huge swimming pools, one near the entrance, the other near the beach. Plenty of sun chairs at pool and beach areas. Many restaurants, bars, massages, bike rental and convenient stores next to resort. Klong Dao beach is the best beach in Koh Lanta in my opinion, powdery sand no rubbish and no rocks unlike the neighbouring beaches full of sharp corals, rocks and rubbish. The beach is shallow but deep enough for safe swimming. The owner is friendly, the staffs are helpful and courteous although some of them don’t speak good English but again you are in Thailand. Breakfast was ok. Go to Bambie’s for THB100 lunch special 12-3pm, 2mins away from right side of the beach. The food was very good and authentic. Would definitely recommend this resort and will definitely return if here again. Stay in the Deluxe Villa if possible they are beautiful.

We had a great holiday at Royal Lanta Resort & Spa. Spending New Years Eve was unforgettable. The nice buffet and entertainment and of course the fireworks was super. This year we needed a wheelchair to make it easier for our son that had hurt his leg and they provide us with a perfect one. Thank you so much to the staff for making this holiday great.

This staff at this resort made our stay absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. They went out of their way to help us. They were kind and friendly and very professional. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable and a good size. The room was cleaned daily. The cleaners very flexible and understanding and would always try and work around our times (we slept in sometimes) when they could. They did extra little things like tidying up the kids toys and folding up our pyjamas. The location was brilliant with everything you need within walking distance and a tuk tuk place a few metres up the road if we wanted to venture further out. All in all it was a brilliant place to stay.

Pros : Well preserved old architecture, clean, well maintained, friendly staff, had our room upgraded FOC, fast and easy check in / out, good spa services although pricey, 2 huge pools, great location (Saladan Pier), walking distance to 7Eleven and halal restos, Anny Tours on the right side of the beach. wonderful experience ! Extended our stay for 2 more nights ! Cons : Housekeepers although friendly, doesn’t read English (left a note, but was disregarded), no telephone in room to contact housekeeping/frontdesk, limited seafood and vegetarian choice at breakfast to accommodated vegetarian/muslim guests. Definitely recommend the place ! To solo travelers, couple, family, everyone !

+Big, green garden and huge teritory; + family number was big bungalo with double bed and bunk bed + very big pool; + lot fo birds singing, geckons singing and varan. + near to beach; + welcoming personel. Definetly will stay again. Thank you Royal Resort for very pleasant stay and smiles everywhere.

Beautiful room with all the little nicesities, gowns, slippers, toiletries, drinks. Big pools front and back near the beach. Restaurant, though only serving breakfast at the moment (included). Gym and spa but I didn't use and not sure if open right now. Always seems to be someone manning front desk.

Great Resort”
We stayed in a beach front superior villa ,room 1121, huge room and it was amazing. Shady side patio and we had a view over the front pool and beach. The resort is very long with the front half very traditional and the rear looks newer. The rear pool is quite large and surrounded by two storey Thai buildings. The gardens are beautiful and tidy. The spa is very expensive but good quality. Food in the restaurant is delicious. The restaurant building is in need of an update but still quite acceptable. Ideal location in middle of bay and close to beach restaurants and 80 Baht into Saladan. Recommend Fat Monkey Restaurant a 10 minute walk away.

I love this hotel, 2nd time I've stayed here, great location, the resort backs onto a beautiful beach with rustic bars on the beach. The breakfast is average, but rooms are aunthic and spacious. Friendly service and staff.

Still a great choice to stay in Lanta”
Some renovation work is needed here and there, but overall it's still a great resort to stay at. Villas are clean, spacious and settled in a beautiful environment. Loved the style of the rooms. We got a complimentary 20min massage and a 20% voucher for the restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great location on the beach”
We stayed at the Royal Lanta Resort for a few days while working in Koh Lanta, this hotel has a great location directly on the beach with many restaurants close by. The rooms were comfortable and clean ant the staff were very happy to oblige.

Great room, friendly staff, beautiful and clean resort. Right on the beach and near restaurants and bars. Breakfast was not good and you could hear the call to prayer from the local mosque from in the room but no other complaints!

The room is spacious but there is only one mirror which is placed above wash basin, making it difficult to see what you are doing as you have to lean forward over the basin surround. Also sun beds are wooden and very heavy to move, with umbrellas that are useless as do not provide any shade. On the plus side the grounds are beautiful and staff are friendly.

Perfect location and decent enough room and facilities with 2 lovely pools. Spa was expensive but had other cheaper options next to it. Lovely beach. Bar staff were lovely but the front desk didn't seem too interested. Would probably go back though.
