Lovely Japanese style hotel with great facilities”
The hotel is conveniently located near the JR station, nicely decorated and very clean. No shoes policy in the hotel makes it feels really comfortable just like home. Onsen facilities are great, especially the option for private onsen without additional charge (you have to que). We also love the super friendly and helpful staff. Especially the one helping me wear the yugata. I forgot to get her name. Appreciate it.

Nice hotel with good onsen”
The hotel is clean and very closed to Takayama station. There are private onsen provided which is very good and I really enjoy all the facilities at the hotel. The breakfast is variety, international and local Japanese breakfast style, with very good taste. The staff is helpful. I really like the concept of everyone has to take off the shoes before entering the hotel area.

Location, Price, Facility - all are in 1 word - EXCELLENT 1. love how they setting up the hotel and regulation (no sandals or shoes allow) 2. Love the food (breakfast) 3. love the room space and tatami style 4. Love their onsen (private and public) - and they prepare free yakult 5. love their hospitality (free ramen everyday - night time 22:30 - 23:30) - the best!!! 6. free coffee and tea - lobby area ALL THE BEST and definitely will come back again

Good location and excellent facilities.”
The location is good, it's just a 5-min walk from Takayama station. The hotel decoration is new and comfortable. my surprise would be having a free late supper of noodles provided by Hotel. The hot spring was good for sure!

Love the private onsen and superb location”
The hotel is just next to Takayama station and not too far away from the old town, everything is in walking distance which was great. Love the free private onsen provided by the hotel, no reservation needed we get to do it 3 times during our stay. Great breakfast and dinner, you might want to include dinner as it is not easy to look for dinner in a small town we had to walk to a few places to find dinner. I would definitely stay here again next time!

this hotel is near to the Takayama bus terminal/JR station, if you are using their tourist bus pass to explore around this area, this hotel is definitely your choice. noting complaint about this hotel.. all good.for Onsen, yummy free Ramen as supper, buffet breakfast, and hotel room cleanness.

Awesome stay with Ouan Takayama”
Very good location, service staff were very polite and helpful. Told them that we were heading to Shirakawago and might not make it back in time for the dinner and they are willing to accommodate us even if we are going to be late. Onsen facilities are great and food served were really good as well. We had a great stay and will definitely recommend it to everyone!

Excellent value for money hotel. We will definitely come back. Excellent location 5 minutes walk to Takayama JR Station. Best part is it provides 3 private onsen rooms where you can book for free on first come first serve basis. We used like 3 times in our 3 nights stay. Also it provides free ramen at night!

Modern clean hotel with a touch of Japanese luxury”
Very nice private onsens (highlight of the hotel). Breakfast was diverse and delicious. Rooms are clean and modern. Staff were helpful and friendly

Hot spring and great food!”
I arrived very late and it was great that the onsen (hot spring) opens until 1am. enjoyed the onsen with night sky view. Breakfast had a variety of options and tasted very good. Location is also good. It only took 8 minutes walk from the Takayama JR station.

Spacious room and good location”
It's only 5-6 mins walk from the Takayama station, it's very convenient to walk back after dinner. Room is big and bed is tatami but very comfy. Maybe it's was a popular season but it's difficult to wait for the private hot spring, line is always long. The public hot spring is good too, would recommend the outdoor one.

Strongly recommended. Good hotspring and ramen. Car parking fee is cheap, only 880 yen per night. Hotel is clean n near attractions. Will stay again next time !!!

Provided free coffee and tea at lobby, plus games for traveller to spend time while waiting. They also offer free ramen at night time for those ones might get hungry after onsen (got public and private options)

Excellent is used to describe this hotel. Clean and spacious room, close to station, wide range variety food for both dinner & breakfast. Most importantly, they have outdoor hot spring that allows you to enjoy the star sparkling at night.

Well maintained hotel with great onsen”
Located some distance from the train station. With great private & public onsen bath is a great plus. Also with free ramen at night. Recommended to stay two nights to fully enjoy the onsen experience.

Nice hotel but a bit crowded. ”
Nice hotel. Very Nice staff. Good location. Easy to access. Near bus stop and train station. There is 10% discount on every spending from 7pm to 10pm so I bought some souvenirs there instead of the gift shops outside. However it was a bit crowded. Full of guests. I saw three tourists took photos in female public bath which made me shocked and uncomfortable.

Love this hotel especially their service. Onsen facilities provide variety of shampoo for us to choose for. Considerate provide free ramen for supper. Definitely will stay their the next time

Quick 5min walk from the bus station. They give free ramen every night, and the onsens were great (even the public ones were quite empty most of the time). Onsens also has free yakult.
