Good location, modern with good facilities and friendly staff ”

About 10- 15 minute walk from centre. Salford Central Station is 5 mins walk away with plenty of buses to city centre outside the station. Hotel is modern, well equipped and the top floor restaurant has an interesting and affordable menu. The roof top terrace bar is a great addition. Breakfast was very good with attentive, friendly staff. Nearby are a few good real ale pubs and I found it a refreshing change from staying right in Manchester centre. Bed was said to be large but in fact it was just a double. Would definitely stay here again.

They didn’t pay any attention to my request for something additional to the room for my boyfriends birthday but we still had a nice time and it was very kind of one of the members of staff to make us a sandwich after we came in from our gig!

Hotel was quiet hence no wait for check in/out. Staff polite, smiling, and helpful. Service, room and surroundings fine. Quiet and I slept well. Weather was good and they had a nice little sun terrace. What not to like?

Only stayed one night, for the Sounds From The Other City festival which was 5 minutes walk away. The hotel is spotless, staff all friendly and helpful. Even though we had an interior room (i.e. no windows) it was huge and had everything we needed. The bath/shower would not have been suitable for people with mobility problems. Late night snacks were tasty. No complaints at all, would gladly stay here again.

Good location max 10 min walk into Spinning Fields - easy to access restaurants, shops,theatres etc. Very friendly staff especially reception. Car parking is great and very reasonable for this area. Our 2nd stay and will be back.

Comfortable stay at the Ainscough”

Stayed w/e end January for a show at the Opera House. Had booked well in advance so two double internal rooms were just £120.00. Upgraded on arrival for £10 each room for rooms with a view. V spacious and comfortable. Hotel has a restaurant and 24he bar, though we doesn't use either as we ate/drank out. It's about a 10-15 Min walk to the Opera House and about another 10 mins to centre of all the action in Manchester, so a great location. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Had a car park at the back, says it's limited, but we arrived at about 1pm on Saturday and there were plenty of spaces. Costs (c) £12 overnight parking which is way cheaper than NCP. Hotel have several with NCP. If their car park is full and u park at NCP, I get a 40% discount, which we coated after discount at around £35. So still better to use the hotel parking. Overall a great w/e and would stay again. Book early, to get a great deal - we booked in June for our January stay.

Absolutely a gem of a find! Fantastic hotel in the business area ( so we were told) approx 10 mins easy walk to Deans gate etc. Great welcome from the friendliest of staff at the front desk. ( Especially the entertaining, beautiful lady who we assumed was Spanish (?) name began with a S, must apologise for not noting her name down - so warm & lovely!). Room was very spacious, elegantly decorated and with everything you could desire. Would love to stay again 😀We were at the front of the hotel so there was some noise from the traffic but nothing significant enough to spoil your sleep etc. Our other party who were in one of the basement rooms, however were a tad spooked by the lack of a bathroom door! 😂

Terrible Sleep”

Hotel was fine until it came time to turn off the lights. The rooms have a pannel of greyed out glass between them and although you can't see through it, light shines through quite clearly. And my neighbour had theirs on all night. All. Night. Increasingly the bathroom smelt of cigarette smoke which was sickening. Air con needed to be on max all night. Not great when the reason for travel is a good night's sleep pre work - I maybe got 3 hours. The staff said a sorry, but that didn't actually help in any productive way. Essentially the hotel is fine unless you'd like some shut eye. So if sleep is one of your requirements probably don't stay here, it's far too dependant on the person in the next room.

Decent value hotel for business stay. Bit of an awkward location otherwise. Area will be nicer once all the building works are complete. Good breakfast spread.

Great value & location”

Located just 1/2 mile from the Albert Hall (concert venue) and other night life. We stayed in one of the Tower Rooms (325), which has a living area downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. It was great value, with tea/coffee making facilities, 2 TVs, a good hair drier, iron/ironing board & a lovely comfy bed. The negatives to this room however are 1) the circular staircase is a bit hazardous, especially in heels and/or after a drink or two, 2) the full size mirror upstairs has no power points nearby, leaving you to dry your hair using a small non-adjustable mirror on the dressing table downstairs, and 3) the layout just doesn't work well - eg the shower is upstairs but to get dressed you have to go downstairs to where the wardrobe is, but to see how you look its back upstairs for the full length mirror.... Simply adding a full length mirror inside the wardrobe door would make such a difference!

Quiet, easy access to the city”

Room was clean and fairly updated. I was traveling with my mate to watch football, so the washroom not having a door was a bit of a challenge. We had to migrate to the other end of the room while the other was showering. The internet connection was spotty at best, that was probably the biggest drawback. While some pictures show an incredible gym, note that it is only for paid classes and personal training. The gym that everyone else has access too is tiny and very limited.

Very helpful staff, easy to get to, would be better if there was a postcode for the car park entrance at the rear of the hotel. Good sized rooms with nice high ceilings which gave the rooms a roomies feel. Very nice breakfast - will stay again.

Excellent and polite staff”

Great efficient check in. Great location on the outskirts but only five minutes from spinningfields. Staff very friendly and polite. Did not use spa facilities so unable to comment. I feel to pay for car park is scandalous when paid for hotel. Room was very spacious however very warm. Is on a busy road and when open window very noisy. Nice little terrace bar Overall would visit again but request room not on main road. Good value

Booked a twin room which was lovely, clean and spacious. The staff at hotel were all very professional, helpful, polite and friendly, which made the stay all the better. Would stay again and recommend.
