Nice staff. Premium location. The only thing I did not like was that the parking cost is $51. That super expensive other than that the room was perfect.

A great hotel, centrally located in the best part of SF. The staff is wonderful and always willing to help. They treat you like part of the family. The building also includes the Soma Restaurant which offers quality food on shorty notice

Ultra convenient location, good value price”
Superb location a block away from Powell Street metro station which has a direct line to the airport. Also it's next to the Westfield shopping centre which has some nice good value Asian food options and a bubble tea stand in the food court located in the basement. The first room I was in had an awful fishy odour. Fortunately the lady at the front desk switched me immediately to another room that thankfully smelled pleasant. The room was a nice size with a comfortable double bed, fair sized desk and comfy desk chair. There's a programmable safe in the room. The biggest issue I had with the room was the thinness of the walls. I could hear the guy in the room next to me talking on his phone and the people on the opposite side talking. I could clearly hear everything in the bathroom next to my bathroom, which kind of made things a bit embarrassing sometimes. Great location near Union Square”
Central location, close to Westfield shopping center, short walking distance to Powel St BART station, Union Square, & cable car, no homeless people along the street so we feel safe. Old hotel that has been refurbished. Room is a little bit small & sound proofing needs to be improved, but it is clean and beds are comfy. Free use of bath robes and great coffee machine in room. Free use of business facility & luggage storage. Staff are helpful and friendly. It's a bit pricey, maybe because of the location & we stayed on new year eve. If you are taking Big Bus San Francisco, there's a free shuttle from Pickwick Hotel to Big Bus Stop #1 Fisherman Wharf. Overall it's a good hotel & I'd recommend it for people who visit San Francisco for the first time.

Super convenient location. Close to all forms of transportation. Shopping mall right next to the hotel. Trader Joes is really close. Hotel was clean. Bathroom was pretty small. Good hotel for its price.

Strategic location”
The location is central to everything - shopping, public transport. 5-min walk to powell street station and cable car turn-around station where you can take old cable car ride from there. Walking distance to Union Square and China Town. For other attractions like Alamo Sq, Fisherman Whaft, Golden Gate Bridge, you can take public transport - bus/tram stops nearby. The hotel is actually behind Westfield shopping mall.

Quaint but serviceable”
I chose the Pickwick because it was a good price close to the Moscone Center, and appeared to have decent reviews. The room is smaller than the typical hotel room (of the major chains) but more than adequate, at least for one person. While I could hear street noise from my 6th floor room, it was not too loud. I will say the bathroom is QUITE small. I did not have enough room for my toiletries on the sink, and the space was so constrained that attempting a shower seemed rather tricky. I didn't want to risk it. On the plus side, the vending machine is very reasonably priced -- for a hotel machine in a major city, at least. You can pick up a soda and a snack without being gouged. I would stay here again for a one or two night visit. Any longer, and I might see if they have rooms with bigger bathrooms.

friendly staff.. if you want to avail the hop on hop off bus, the bus will stop once every day in the morning in front of the hotel. Near the BART station and bus stations. Shopping areas are nearby. Walking distance to union station, Chinatown.

Nice older hotel that is in need of a refresh; I would stay again if the price is right. Make sure to get this hotel when the rings are discounted! Walking distance from the main shops and Union Square; great location.
