“International flight overnight stay”

We had a truly pleasant stay at Tune Hotel KLIA2. We booked a Garden Twin Room, which was reasonably sized and perfect for an overnight stay. While the bathroom and toilet were not separated, standard essentials were provided, including a hair dryer. Communication with the hotel was quick and efficient, making our arrival completely stress-free. The beds and pillows were very comfortable (though one bed frame made a slight noise), and both the air-conditioning and hot water shower worked excellently. The hotel’s location is outstanding—surrounded by plenty of food options and shops, making everything extremely convenient. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful. Their efficient communication ensured our stay was smooth and enjoyable. We especially appreciated the extended late check-out (thank you, Afiq!) and the assistance with our luggage. Being within walking distance of KLIA2, Tune Hotel is ideal for travelers. The airport also provides a free shuttle bus to Mitsui Shopping Mall and both KLIA1 & KLIA2, adding even more convenience. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Tune Hotel KLIA2 to others.

“Comfortable Room, Unexpected Parking Rate.”

The main downside is the parking — I didn’t realize it was charged per hour with a maximum of around RM46 per day (if I’m not mistaken). Imagine my surprise!

“Pretty good airport stay”

The location is fine enough it is on the klia2 side. The staff were proficient, nice, and spoke English, so check in went smooth. The lobby common area was bustling and looked cute and inviting, there was a welcome drink which we thought was a nice touch. We like most people, I'd imagine, just stayed here with hope and a prayer that they will be able to get a nap in, all to wake up and be back in the airport before the crack of dawn. The room is small but clean, the hot water was working well and didn't run out. If you arrive late it is helpful that there are multiple 24hr marts just inside the airport exit area. A few things to note that I felt were lacking,, it was a disappointment that there was no minifridge nor a water kettle. There was also no disposable toothbrush, no washcloths nor the alternative of facewipes and then no magnifying makeup mirror. Bah. Thank you to those reviewers before me, as I second the reviewer who said to hold on to the luggage cart if you have luggage. It's close, but far if you've had a big day traveling.

“Expensive, but convenient”

We booked this hotel as a layover while waiting for a flight about 9 hours away. Location isn't as close to the airport as others make it out to be. Be prepared for a 20, 30 minute walk from the departure hall. Although you will be covered throughout, it isn't all air conditioned. Ignore all of the signs that stop you from bringing your trolley. Just bring it. You'll need it, especially if you have a lot of luggage. There is a trolley collection area at the hotel anyways, so just assume the warnings are for people leaving the airport to take a car, etc, and not you. Upon arrival, staff was great and the areas for general usage are decorated vibrantly and is full of life. It's obvious this is where the hotel spends most of its money and where most of your money is going to. There is a welcome drink provided and a water dispenser near the elevator providing hot, ambient, and cold drinking water. There is a bar downstairs and a mini sundry area providing quick bites and refreshments, although fair warning, prices are jacked up for the cenvenience. I'd recommend supplying at the airport instead. Finally the rooms. The room was basic and small. Serviceable for a quick refresh and a nap before the next flight, but it is expensive for what it is. If it was anywhere else, this is the kind of room that would be half the price. The room isn't without it's highs though. Shower was great, good water pressure and closure with no leakage to the main area. Towels are clean and fluffy. Only thing I don't like is that the floors are sticky. In summary, this hotel is still a recommend for me.

I stay 2 nights at this hotel specifically to enjoy the KLIA airport atmosphere. The hotel is very strategic, clean, and spacious. From my window, I could see planes taking off. The service is very friendly, even the cleaning staff are polite and kind. There's only one thing that needs improvement, which is the SOP for guests who leave their bags and want to collect them. When I was collecting my bag, the queue was combined with guests who booked online and those handling parking. I was told off by a staff when I tried to jump the queue, saying everyone was there to collect their bags, which wasn't true. The urgency of someone collecting their bag is different; they might be catching a flight, whereas those checking in or handling parking aren't. This is something Tune Hotel could improve.

“Convenient for flights, disappointing comfort”

I’ll start with the positives, because there are some. The location is genuinely convenient. If you’re flying via KLIA2, it’s extremely close and practical, especially for early morning flights. Even if you’re flying from KLIA1, getting there is still manageable via shuttle, KLIA Express, or KLIA Transit for a small additional cost. The lobby also makes a strong first impression. It looks modern, spacious, and surprisingly impressive for a 3 star airport hotel. The exterior at ground level is green, pleasant, and nicely designed. Walking in, you honestly feel optimistic about the stay. Unfortunately, that optimism doesn’t last. Once you enter the room, reality sets in. The room is very basic and honestly feels more like a hookup hotel than a place meant for proper rest before a flight. Expectations need to be kept very low. Nothing feels comfortable or thoughtfully designed for actual sleep. Visually, the floor looks acceptable at first glance. However, the moment you take off your shoes and step on it, it becomes obvious that it’s dirty. The floor felt grimy, as though it hadn’t been properly mopped for days, if not weeks. That is absolutely unacceptable for any hotel, regardless of category. The worst part by far is the pillow. I’ve travelled extensively and stayed in everything from budget hotels to high-end properties. This is, without exaggeration, the worst hotel pillow I’ve ever encountered in my life. I’ve stayed in cheaper hotels before and none came close to being this bad. It completely ruined any chance of proper rest. Now, about the price. Yes, I understand it’s an airport hotel and airport hotels tend to charge a premium. But what you get in return is nowhere near worth the price. It honestly feels like guests are being overcharged simply because of the location. For what is provided, the pricing is unjustifiable. To make things worse, parking is handled terribly. Because of an early flight, my housemate stayed with me the night before and planned to check out the next morning. We were shocked to discover that even as hotel guests, there is no parking validation or flat rate at all. You end up paying up to RM46 just for parking, on top of an already overpriced stay. That is frankly unacceptable for a hotel catering to airport travellers. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It looks promising from the outside, but the experience is deeply disappointing. If given the choice again, I would much rather stay at another airport hotel or even pay more elsewhere for basic comfort and proper rest than stay here again. This place is simply not worth it.

“Disappointed Experience at Tune Hotel KLIA-KLIA2”

It js a very simple hotel. Upon check-in, I was asked to pay RM6 in the name of Sustainability Fee. There's not even shower gel and only gave soap bar & small shampoo tube for shower and hand wash purpose. No tissue available and room seems to have no aircon because temp display 26 deg C even I set to 13 with only fan provided. Floor was sticky with no room slippers provided. Toilet bowl flush was not good. This hotel will only clean rooms once every 3 days in the name of Sustainability 😳 There’s no phone in the room and got to scan the QR code in room to make our requests thru AI Chatbot. So whe I need toilet paper, I have to go thru AI chatbot! For breakfast, the eggs were cooked with oil flooded soaked under my eggs which was so unhealthy. I saw some flies hovering above the small cakes which spoil my appetite.Omg I think I saw a fly landed on top of the cakes. The hotel staff saw me using hands to sweep around cakes to chase the floes away then they put a moving device near cakes to chase flies away. I was siting inside the restaurant but there’s still a lot of flies even at my table. Consider the varietybof food, hygiene, environment, quality of food, room amenities, etc., I would never stay in this hotel again!

While breakfast is included and starts early at 4:30 AM, I found it a bit limited for such a large hotel catering to airport guests. I would have appreciated amenities like an egg station and coffee machines instead of just local brews. The breakfast room itself could also use a brighter atmosphere and clearer signage directing guests from the lobby. One nice touch was the water cooler conveniently located next to the lift area, which was great for staying hydrated. We also learned that an iron and ironing board could be requested, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. Overall, if you’re looking for a convenient stay near the airport, Tune Hotel KLIA2 offers a decent experience at a reasonable price, but there’s definitely room for improvement in the breakfast options and dining area atmosphere.

“The aircon was teribble”

Cleanliness and location are excellent, BUT the air conditioning is very disappointing. There is a ceiling fan provided, but even though the AC can be set as low as 13°C, it still feels like 28°C or even 30ish. Regardless of whether the weather is hot or not, for a hotel at this price point, the AC temperature is clearly disappointing.

Location is unbeatable. You literally roll your suitcase from KLIA2 straight into the hotel. Room is small but the bed is comfy and everything is clean. Few things worth knowing though. Walls are super thin, you can hear neighbours and the cleaning crew starts up at 6am. The bathroom dispensers for shampoo and shower gel are there but completely empty which for the price is a bit ... disappointing. Also no USB ports anywhere in the room which feels like a big oversight for a transit hotel full of international travellers. Bring a travel adapter and your own toiletries and you'll be fine!

This hotel's biggest and undeniable advantage is its excellent location. It is genuinely within walking distance to KLIA2 via a covered, air-conditioned skybridge. This is an absolute lifesaver if you have an early morning flight or a late-night arrival and want to avoid any stress. A very important note: This is NOT the Tune Aeropolis hotel. That one is cheaper but requires a shuttle bus to get to the terminal. This hotel is the one directly connected to the airport, so be sure you're booking the right one for that ultimate convenience. The only downside is that you pay a premium for this privilege. The pricing is on the high side for what you get, as the rooms are functional rather than luxurious. However, for the sheer convenience of rolling your suitcase directly from the lobby to the check-in counter in under 10 minutes, the cost was ultimately worth it for a smooth travel experience. Perfect for a one-night transit stop.

“Tune review”

This is extremely nice hotel with easy access to the airport terminal that allows you to get to the terminal even if it raining. It’s a 8 minute walk to the terminal. As far as the hotel is clean and extremely comfortable with the option of using it for a few hours as well as a full das stay of a few days. If your flight comes in late or your flight is super early it’s the perfect fit to get you to your destination without being exhausted. I highly recommend this hotel. My only recommendation is better communication with the client when they text . The main telephone number is never answered as I tried calling over 10 times over many days. Otherwise my stay was perfect!

“An Upgrade to be remembered and no to premium room”

Book 2 rooms twin bedded but I think there was a mistake done during check in as one of our rooms was a connecting room and I guess someone wanted the connecting room so I was offered to a premium room upgrade which was far away, and was indeed not happy actually but being so tired of a long journey we didnt want to change rooms anymore. We personally didn't like the premium room which was told costRM600+, it was a bit small, with a queen bed, and the sad part of it the toilet has no bidet and worst of all the shower part is a see thru toilet, should have been frosted, have to make sure either family members are not near the shower area to see a naked person taking a shower. If you are travelling with a fried do avoid the premium rooms unless you are okay showering with a see thru toilet. Breakfast was good many options. Hopefully next time front office won't make a mistake checking us to a room that has bookings already. Very inconvenient moving around after a tired journey and given an upgrade room which for me I rather stick with the twin bedded.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The room assigned to me had an air conditioner that was not functioning properly. I reported the issue to the front desk and a housekeeping staff initially suggested that I might not know how to switch it on. After the staff checked and tuned the air conditioner, they informed me that it was already working properly. However, despite this, the air conditioner was still not functioning. By that time, it was already close to midnight, and I was too tired to pursue the matter further or request a room change. As a result, I had to endure an uncomfortable night, which was quite frustrating. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that room facilities are properly checked before assigning them to guests. This experience did not meet my expectations and could have been handled better.

We stay here each time we transit for over night stop. This hotel is so convienent, if you arrive from KLIA1, you either take the.train or the free shuttle bus. You only ned to walk to hotel if arrival at KLIA2. The room is very comfort especially the bed, these days they provide 2 bottles water. I think they have a temporary promo now as we were give 2 free coffee vouchers. Breakfast is very good now as compare to before, it has improved so much.. There is free shutter to KLIA1 at fix time early morns, you ned register at reception

“Okay for stopover”

Stayed here 1 night awaiting our flight on the next day. Its good for a short stay near klia2. Easily walkable less than 10mins for us. Buffet breakfast was great. We loved the food. Cleanliness needs to be improved. We found nose sh*t on the wall of our bathroom... other than that, the aircon was cold, the bed was soft. Not much noise disturbance. Our family had a good rest. Staff attitude needs to be improved. As u know most people are travellers with luggages. It would be nice to have 1 or 2 persons to help bring up luggages to the room.

It's fine for one night and serve the purpose of your layover needs. Check-in was smooth thanks to staff on duty Mr. Lee, and the room was clean with a firm, comfy bed that gave us a great night’s sleep. Then came breakfast. Let’s just say “disappointment” is an understatement. Flies hovered over the cakes, kuih, and sandwiches like they were part of the buffet. As for the congee? Despite the burner underneath, it was stone cold. A warm welcome, yes. Warm food? Not so much. Stick to the bed, skip the breakfast.

Great location for people needing to stay close to Kilia2. Rooms a nice and clean. There is a lovely spacious lounge area around reception (where I spent close to 5h ! :) and fab inner courtyard garden … also there is huge flock of birds gathering and singing in the morning - pure joy and all combined with a great breakfast !! The departure gates are walking distance from the hotel, via pedestrian bridge. Highly recommended !

This booking was last year wrong book and the staff couldn’t find my room at first but they managed to confirm my booking and I request from twin to queen room and they even grant my request. Overall the room is clean, cosy and comfort. Staff also friendly, breakfast quite lot of choice and begin as early 4:30am which ease for travellers need catch up early flight. Location wise walking distance far bit to the malls. Overall is great staycation there

“Perfect transfer hotel”

My only issue was the booking, I must have clicked the day room even though the conformation showed check-in/out days concurrent... After some negotiation at the front desk the manager agreed not to charge me extra, the hotel is located withing 5mins walk of KLIA2 entrance but on a mid-floor to the walkway. The staff are polite the hotel is clean as are the rooms and everything works, definitely a good option for a lay-over.

A perfect place to stay overnight at KLIA terminal 2 between flights. Adequately-sized clean bedroom with very comfortable bed and pillows. Take-away breakfast available if leaving too early to have the full buffet breakfast. This worked well for us. From the arrivals hall there are no signs for Tune until getting quite close to it, but there were plenty of people to give directions en route.

Walkway a bit dark from the KLIA2 side and flooring at KLIA2 side needs resurfacing, Recommend for convenience if arriving late or departing early from KLIA 2 for a comfortable night's stay.

“Acceptable Overnight Stay”

Very convenient walking distance from KLIA2 arrival hall. Hotel's lobby presentation is superb. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. I was having a one night stayed after missing a flight. Room was clean, but a bit pricey as compared to other 3 and 4 stars hotels. Bed is comfortable but pillow is kind of hard, not having a comfort sleep though. Hoping the management to review it. Overall, great stayed and not rushing to catch my next flight.

Ok for a transit. Comfortable. Toilet just only get 2 soap bar, 1 bottle shampoo, no tooth brush. Easy to get to from KLIA 2 (Terminal 2). From arriving hall, just head straight to exit until saw FamilyMart on the left, then take travellator to level 1M and will see a sign to hotel heading right. Just follow the covered walkway, go down using elevator and can see the hotel. Even can bring luggage trolly until hotel lobby. Just a few minutes from arrival hall

“Good a Night Stay”

Nothing to shout about. The room was smaller than in the pictures. It was rather cramp even for just 2 people. Location was a walk away from KLIA and the lack of sufficient directional signs after the immigration arrival gate caused us a few extra minutes of searching and asking around. I sprained an ankle badly while in KLIA and that extra minutes walking around added to the misery. The reception staff seems to be slightly overwhelmed with the large crowd queuing to check in. We were eventually given room (169) which was at the far end and had to go through two doors which looks like fire escape doors and not a proper walkway for guests to get to their rooms. The signages was also confusing and mysterious and requires guests to be forced to play a guessing games. I urged the management to walk in the shoes of a guest that have been assigned to Room 169 and walk the path frkm the lobby to the room and based solely on your hotel directional signs and see if you can get to the room without having to make a guess hoping that direction leads to the room. Its a hotel in a Muslim majority country and disappointingly, the toilet do not have a bidet. I had to resort to filling up my mineral water bottle for my toilet visits. I just came fom a visit to HCMC which is a Muslim minority city and every hotel, apartmenr and Airbnb there had bidet. Its such a contrast. Tune hotel seriously needs to look into this basic requirement. That itself is a deal breaker for me. Will not list this as my choice accommodation even for 1 night.

“Better than we expected ”

I booked the accomodation without reading reviews both in Agoda & Google Reviews. There's some bad ones. We were prepared to move hotels if there's anything (cockroach & dust as I have an allergy to both). But after checking in, we were happy that the room was clean & pretty decent in size! There was both aircond & fan too. That was a great plus. Overall, it's great for a one night layover. Directions to the hotel is clearly mentioned on their website.

It is nice place to stay for early morning flight traveller as it is connected to KLIA 2 and provide shuttle bus to KLIA 1 for morning schedule. The room is clean. Downside are: 1) the housekeeping forgot to refill the shower gel 2) no toothpaste provided 3) there is leaking under the sink 4) the aircond is not so cold even though have put it 20 degrees celcius. Overall, nice place to rest before journey.

“Best airport option”

If you get a good deal on Agoda (shop around) Tune is good value for money and probably the best KL airport option. We asked for a quiet room, which was on level 5 and far from the busy bar/public area. Was mostly quiet, though some noisy kids around 2am. Bed comfy, room pretty clean and functional. Buffet breakfast excellent, wide selection from 4am. 10-15 minute walk to international flights.

“Accessible and Comfort”

Mother here with a daughter staying overnight since we need to do transit to johor the next day. It's my 2nd time to stay here but this 2nd time was more satisfactory. Room is spacious enough for me and my daughter , I have a view of a highway or a parking I think but view still have a stunning sky with planes flying. Tv is working, I mean most of the hotel I've been , tv never works or the channels were all locals , these have kids option tv channel which is favorable to a mom like me. Room is stock with basics and it's clean, toilets were clean. We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back again. Btw I love Thier extention hours options which I avail for only 149rm we got to extend until 7pm from the check out time. Very helpful when my hubby travel time was extended to fetch us from johor. It's very accessible too for a bus ride to Johor, extra convenient for us. Reception, receiving area, dining and bar has a cozy ambiance. A lot more to say but I leave it to other guests to experience and comment.

“No Iron facilities in the room”

Please provide an iron in the room. It is time-consuming to wait when other guests are using it, and the shared laundry area with ironing facilities can be uncomfortable. Some guests leave their clothes on the ironing board and walk away, which is not ideal, and we feel uncomfortable having to move their items. With the rates charged, I believe this is something that should be considered. Hotel can also provide an iron upon request so that we can iron in the room which is more comfortable.

“Great location ”

Can’t beat the location for the hotel. Room is smaller but clean with air conditioning. Perfect to do an overnight layover. Only complaint was the next morning checking out the hall and elevator were like a sauna. It was like they turned off the a/c for the night. So hot my wife got lightheaded and vertigo. Need to rethink the reset on the a/c in these unventilated areas.

“Pleasantly Surprised ”

I am from America, but live in the Philippines. I had to leave the Philippines for visa requirements and chose to go to Malaysia. I never stayed at a Tune Hotel and did not know what to expect. The staff was actually the best part of the stay. My room included breakfast and the wait staff and head waiter, plus the overall supervisor, Shakey were very personable and helpful. My room was very clean and nicely laid out. The shower had incredible pressure and ample hot water. The accessibility to the airport was like in 5 minutes and you were in the center of shopping and great places to eat.. On my last day I tried the pizza and it was very good. Also, I love a good cup of coffee and the coffee in the dining area superb! If I go back, I surely will stay in this hotel. I have already recommended the hotel to my traveler friends. Thank you
