cool place to stay for some nights and enjoy the city, it is located too close to metro *from airport* so you wouldnt need to walk a lot to reach the hostel. Enjoy your time there! there is no kitchen, only a microwave where you can heat your food, cause they are making a new kitchen! :D

As you mention, there is an underground tram stop which goes to the airport within a few minutes walk from the hostel so getting to the hostel with baggage is very easy. There are also renovations going on to improve the hostel for future guests (including a brand new guest kitchen!) Enjoy the rest of your travels and you are welcome to come back and stay again at Villa Saint Exupery.

Hi, there are currently renovations going on to the ground floor of the hostel to improve the look and facilities for future guests. These will soon be completed and we're excited to see the results. The bed are only good, the location is very close to the beach, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast has the best relation quality/price I can imagine, and the infrastructure is very well developed.

LOCATION = 10/10 HOSTEL FACILITIES = 10/10 STAFF= 10/10 This was one of the best hostels I have been to. Definitely I am recommending it to you all. Go for it. All the facilities are free and the bar of this hostel is just ausm..... cheap beer too good. If visiting NICE again I am gonna stay here only for sure. Hi, thank you for your visit to our hostel, we appreciate you recommending us and taking the time to make some comments regarding your stay. It appears that you have really enjoyed your stay at the hostel. As mentioned there are a lot of free facilties for guests to use. These include the gym and sauna, a table tennis, wifi and computers, city walking tours, maps and lots of local info for daytrips, free all day tea and coffee, free luggage storage. We wish you very enjoyable continued travelling and hope we might welcome you and your friends on a future occasion.

Ideal for backpackers. You can use the kitchen to eat food, and surprisingly, there is a sauna and a gym in the basement. Conveniently located near department stores and Massena Square. And the staff responded well. It seems to be good at cleaning. When you travel from Nice to the suburbs, you have to find accommodation here. will have to pay for breakfast. And it was a shame that there was no olive oil in the kitchen such as basic sauce, sugar and salt. There are only kitchen utensils.

Best Hostel I’ve stayed in”
I booked a 12 bed mixed dorm, and it was perfect as it was mostly solo travellers and we all arrived on the same day! Perfect location, really nice vibe with happy hour 6-8, a bar crawl and a free walking tour of Nice, making you meet new people. I would happily return!

Simple but cheap”
We were staying in a private room, the heating was a bit outdated, but it worked. If you are looking for a budget place to sleep in the center of everything, you are in the right place.

room was not exceptional and beds were not the most comfortable but definitely not a thing to complain about judging by the price we paid. The place was clean enough, and the staff were nice.

Great location. La promenade des Anglais is less than 10min, the "flower market" is about 10min, and the beach is about 5min. It is next to the big commercial street of Nice. The luggage storage is free. And reception is nice.

Hi, we're pleased to see you highly rated the location. The location of the hostel is one of the aspects that our guests often rate highly. The location is right next to the main square 'Place Massena' and is within easy walking distance to a lot of the things to see and do while in Nice. Did you know the fruit and flower market in Nice is the largest in France? It is on everyday 6am to 2pm, apart from Mondays when it becomes a 'trash and treasure market' where all types and strange and wonderful objects can be found. Female solo traveler”
As a female solo traveler, if you're going in the winter (presumably during the hostel's less popular times), I would recommend at least booking a female-only room. I switched from co-ed to female only when I realized I was the only female in my co-ed room and there were a majority of older men. Social opportunities with young adults weren't as prevalent as other hostels I've stayed in throughout France/Europe. All that being said, at a bare-bones minimum it was a good accommodation for the price, and if you're traveling with friends then you shouldn't have any issues.

Hi, the hostel is less busy during the winter than the summer so there is less of a socila vibe. The hostel is currently under going renovations to the ground floor to improve the common areas for guests and to make more of a social atmosphere. As mentioned here, lots of room types are available for guests to choose from. There are all female dorms, private rooms, small and large mixed dorms. Enjoy the rest of your travels and we recommend you come back to stay with us again during the busy summertime.

Great location but unreliable information”
We booked this stay for a week because it had a kitchen (being a hostel). However, when we arrived they said the kitchen was closed for renovations indefinitely. We were told that we could use a kettle and microwave. No fridge. You can pay 5€ for a cereal and toast kind of breakfast, but we never did. Also, although the hotel was supposed to have daily housekeeping, we never had anyone clean our room. Towels aren't included in your stay. Luggage storage was available which was an excellent perk, and the location is perfect. It's very close to the beach and the tram stop. Overall, we had a good stay we just wished we were informed about the kitchen and cleaning situation before booking!!!
