Hulhumale's best address for a budget holiday”
If you're looking for the perfect address to sit back, relax and enjoy the calm blue waters of Maldives on a budget, Hulhumale's Transit Beach View Hotel fits the bill perfectly. The staff of the hotels is absolutely exceptional, always with a smile who goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The room I was in, which probably had the best view of the pristine blue waters of Maldives, was an amazing experience itself (I think it was room 201). I am a clean freak, and everything was in order, from a very clean bathroom to very clean sheets. The beach which is just a few feet away from the hotel is absolutely clean, with chairs and sunbeds, to help you sit back and relax and even read a book. The beach opposite the hotel is like a private beach and not overly crowded like other parts of the beach along the stretch, so that's a definite plus point. The food was quite good, although it would be nice to have a bit more variety in their ala-carte menu.

Got more than I expected.”
I originally intended to stay here only for one night, but in the end I stayed for 4 nights. The staff was very helpful and friendly and they took the time to sit down with me (we sat down for about an hour) to plan a few activities around Male that could fit on my backpacker's budget. They searched around and didn't give up until they found several activities (including diving and snorkeling) that I could afford and be happy with the itinerary. They simply took care of everything for me, from beginning to end, and I was pretty happy with the result. The room, while a bit small (but that seems to be the case in most, if not all hotels in Male/Hulhumale), was better than I expected and still comfortable. Plus, the view to the ocean was quite nice. There are a few restaurants, cafes, and small shops within walking distance, the beach is just a step ahead of the hotel, and the ferry and public bus are just an easy 15-20 minutes walk. So, it has a pretty good location. Would definitely recommend it and would stay here again when I return to the Maldives!

"SMALL BUT CLEAN AND NICE"”
I Have stayed in Transit Beach View Hotel and its nice and is just 15 mins away drive to the airport. Nearby, there are a numbers of Stores around and a plus of Chinese Restaurants and local Restaurants as well. A Nice Beach front hotel with over view of beautiful lagoon of Hulhumalle. with the Nice Owner Kader and his Helpful and Friendly Staffs. good atmosphere but a bit noisy in the morning when they prepare breakfast for early Guests. Good service and affordable price.

Good hotel, you get what you paid for”
Good thing: - private car transfer - beach front, view is nice - roof top breakfast with sea view is stunning. - room is clean, decoration is good. about 6 power plug in a room is just too much. - toilet is good, shower with bathtub, hot water supply. Need Improvement: - wifi signal is bad, will get disconnected from time to time. - double bed is too small if you stay at beach view room, saw the bed for standard room is much bigger. NOT recommend to take the beach view room. - USD10 for airport return transfer is referring to 1 person. Hope you guys know maths. Overall this is a good hotel, I get what I paid for and meet my expectation. Special thanks to the one who served us for all time (Asraf I forgot his name) and he deserved some tips.

Comfortable, quiet, and relaxing”
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The place was clean, staff friendly (loved my chats with John, the owner), and was located right across from a beautiful beach. It was exactly what I wanted: a quiet, restful serene vacation, that didn't have the overcrowding of a resort. There were plenty of local restaurants to chose from, serving all types of varied cuisine, at very reasonable prices ($7-$10). Will be back again for some more R & R in the future.

Thing is... i dont recommend. Room is okay. Location okay (agoda map is wrong. Plz check ggmap before you go) Big family living in this hotel from granpa to children. They are running all around and shouting crying day and night everyone very noisy. Once i was in the room and someone just playing with handle of my room. Toilet no hot water . Showrr no flushing. Flood everywhere . Only thing is cheap. Bed is comfortable. Beach in front. They book day pass of resort and price 1.5times expensive than tairport counter. (Tip. You can book day pass directly to airport counter).

Nice location, friendly staff”
The location of te hotel is very conveniant, as it is close to the bus stop ( you can go to the airport for 1$, even return for the same price), there's also a watersports club ( wakeboarding, kayaking, banana boat...)across the street, some supermarkets parallel to the hotel area... I didnt stay much in the hotel, as I was going for diving, however, what made my stay a little uncomfortable was the noise from the construction next to the hotel ( until late night) even the hotel guests/ staff walking in the corridor, or going up the stairs, making noises... There were plenty of hair on my bedsheet and cover on the first day I arrived, when I asked to change the bedsheets, only the bedsheet was changed, the cover was kept the same, until I asked to change it, that's when I realised Initially, it was never changed... There was a Tv in the room, which didn't work. Staff were informed from the first day ( they thought it was from the rain on the previous day, but never checked) on the last day i stayed there, one of the staff who came to my room to bring the remote control for the AC, took the initiative to check on the TV, after I complained for the 3rd time, he 'fixed' the tv, it ended up with 3 channels... There were no windows in the room... There is wifi in the lobby, no signal in the rooms. Hotel is not flexible with check out timings, when I wanted to check out at 3 pm instead of 12. I ended up taking my suitcase and going to Hulhule hotel next to the airport, over there the staff happily took my bag, kept it aside, and I could use the swimming pool, beach facilities at no cost...

Rooms are small and Cozy, but includes all the stuffs required. It just by the side of the beach. Hotel is a bit old but its clean. Hospitality is their USP.

Construction works next door”
Hotel is conveniently located close to the airport. There is a pretty quiet road between the hotel and a beautiful beach. I stayed in a sea view room which was great. Unfortunately there were construction works next door, banging and drilling all day from 7am to 7pm which I was not informed about. Coming to scuba dive and relax after a business trip in another country it was absolutely not what I wished for... I chose this hotel also because they advertise wifi in all rooms which is essential for me because of work. I did not have any reception in my room and was told "sometimes upstairs problem" and had to make my way to the reception to do work, where noise from construction works was even louder. It was impossible to relax at the hotel. Room was very dated and dirty, especially sheets and walls. Apart from location I was not pleased with this accommodation and would never recommend it. I believe it would be a pleasant place to stay without the noise and with more attention to cleanliness.

All good in terms of the hotel. Negative feedback: I had booked an airport transfer at the front desk and stated it must reach at 9 am. But the transfer was half an hour late and it reached at 9:30am.

The hotel, better call it inn, is alright. We were going to Maldives for our honeymoon, and we only stay one night in this hotel before heading to our resort. They give us the sea view room, the room is small and little bit molding. The washroom are clean, but the water from the shower is quite low. The breakfast are alight, with two fried eggs, tosses and sausages. The best thing is they pick us up and drive us to the airport on time. Only one thing to complain about is the cost of picking up and drive us to the airport is $20 total, is not the same list in the Agoda, $8.

Clean and simple”
The room is small and wifi is weak on the second floor. We have to go down to the lobby or go near the staircase to get wifi signal. Breakfast is always the same throughout the 5 nights that we stay at the hotel.

Seaview room was nice and clean compared to noview”
The seaview room was nice but the other rooms not facing seaview really need new painting of the walls and polish the floor marble, these not painted walls and non polish marble floor makes it look old. Other than that the whole place is actually cleaned well and nice to stay. TV has no reception. The staff are all helpful and friendly. nice places to eat dinner and lunch : Ocean Edge Inn
