Determine your eligibility for travel

To determine your eligibility for travel, please refer to the following conditions and requirements for Barbados:

Fully vaccinated travelers to Barbados will no longer have to take a COVID-19 test to enter the country.

Currently, unvaccinated travelers will still be required to present a negative COVID-19 test to enter Barbados.

Travelers are permitted to travel to Barbados with a valid negative Rapid Antigen test or PCR test result done within 1 day prior to arrival in Barbados OR a negative PCR test result done within 3 days prior to arrival.

Quarantine is required for some travelers.

If you hold an appropriate vaccine certificate, you can travel to Barbados with a shorter quarantine of one to two days.

Allowed Vaccines: Sinopharm/BIBP, Moderna, Pfizer/BioNTech, Janssen (Johnson & Johnson), Oxford/AstraZeneca

Domestic travel

All businesses, except for nightclubs, are allowed to operate, provided they adhere to strict protocols on the use of protective facemasks, social distancing and sanitation.

Those attending public events must be fully vaccinated and have a negative result from a COVID-19 test taken within the 24 hours prior. Wearing a facemask remains mandatory in all public spaces; children under five years of age are exempt.
