Domestic travel
The Puerto Rican government has ended mask requirements for indoor and outdoor establishments and has dropped capacity limits for private and public establishments, such as restaurants, bars, theaters and event venues. People entering private and public venues will no longer be required to provide proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results. This includes motels and other lodging as well.

Are there restrictions on events? Events are Allowed. Sporting events and recreational activities are permitted, following local guidelines.Venues are not operating under a capacity limit or with mask requirements. However, events of over 1,000 people are subject to situation-specific guidelines provided by the Health Department.
Attendees of concerts and shows at venues including those below, regardless of event size, are required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result taken at least 72 hours prior:
– Coliseo de Puerto Rico
– Puerto Rico Convention Center
– The Coca-Cola Music Hall
Proof of vaccination with the first two doses will be sufficient and will not require the booster.
Face masks are required at large events.

What is the status of restaurants and bars? Restaurants and bars are Fully Open. Health Pass requirements and other restrictions have been lifted for restaurants. Patrons do not need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative test result.

Public beaches, natural reserves and marinas, as well as other popular tourist attractions in Puerto Rico are open with social distancing guidelines.
