If it was not for my bananas...”
Eight by LET, Airport bus and city buses station, is Travel Hub. It is located in China town, where one finds good food for reasonable price. I really enjoyed my stay at the Hub. The staff, specially the receptionist, Sherry, were great. I must also stress the fact that mist of the tenants I meet at the Hub were amazing with the exception of one whom I haven't known to this day if it was a he or she. I found few days earlier that my fresh regular size bananas were switched with rotten very small ones. List my apples too. Well this may be a minor thing. For me being new for hostel, was a big deal. I never had to go through this when I did AIRBNB. Yes, I am an Aibnb dude. If it was not for my bananas, I definitely recommend Travel Hub to any one. Peace!

The perfect budget option”
This guesthouse is excellent value for money. Free tea and coffee all day, and a simple breakfast of toast and different spreads. Beautiful rooftop terrace that overlooks Chinatown to the Petronas Towers in the distance. The staff are so helpful and can offer great suggestions for sightseeing (for example, how to get to Batu Caves, and where to head for sunset drinks with a beautiful view of the towers). The rooms are immaculate and the bathrooms are modern and clean. I can't believe how affordable this guesthouse is! I was traveling with my father and he felt completely comfortable staying at Travel Hub Highstreet even though I guess it is aimed towards backpackers. Great location in Chinatown which is buzzing at all hours, lots of people around late at night. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to KL. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great Location”
It's near Pasar Seni Station so it's perfect to hop on the Purple GoKL Line. It's also near Central Market and Petaling Street and a few minutes walk to the Kuala Lumpur Station if you want to go to Batu Caves. We booked the 3-bed room and it was the cutest room there is. They shower room in the 2nd floor was well maintained. They serve breakfast at the rooftop bar but on our stay we were not able to do it because of an incident at the ground floor shop. They also have a storage room where you can leave your bags if you come in early or have to stroll around after you check out. It's a great place!

Good Place for Low Budget Traveller”
I stayed during Christmas days at Travel Hub Highstreet in Kuala Lumpur. It is close located at subway station 'Pasar Seni' (Line 5). My single room was small but clean. Unfortunately, my aircon was not working for two days. Even the personal could not fix it, consequently it was quite hot in my room. However, breakfast is included and is served at Rooftop bar but it is in comparison to other low budget hostels quite negligible (Toast, Jam, Coffee, Tee). According to Christmas time, it would be good to organize 'Christmas dinner', 'Christmas trips' or similar events in order to enjoy Christmas together with new friends or provide opportunities to socialize with other travelers. Finally, as I asked for a 'Grab' (taxi), the reception person could not order due to problems with the app. I was in hurry and I found a grab on the street. I would suggest to handle this situation more professional. In overall, the Travel Hub is a good place for Low Budget Traveler in KL.

Great option if you're solo or a couple travelling on a tight budget”
I had an overnight stay in Kuala Lumpur and was travelling without my family so I tried a 'backpacker's hostel' for the first time ever - I was pleasantly surprised by how much value you get for an incredibly affordable price. I booked a single bed in a small 'dormitory' of 3 - as it turned out, it was a pretty quiet night and no-one else was billeted in the room with me. So I paid a great price and got a room to myself! My only recommendation would be that their staff be a little more proactive in explaining things and addressing issues. I lost power in my room and woke because it had become a sauna in there - after an hour and a half with a vague assurance that 'something' was being done, I eventually asked if there was another room available - there was, and I was able to transfer and get back to sleep for a few more hours' rest before an early start the next day. I was surprised that they left me hanging around at midnight without offering such a solution of their own accord.

Good budget option”
I had a tiny private room with a window, not bad for the price. Bathroom was shared and well equipped, clean and with good showers. The Travel Hub is just near the Petaling Street night market and tons of food options. Check out was a bit weird, there was a boy of around 14 taking care of it, not sure what to think of that.

It Feels Like Home”
Pros: Absolutely love the design of Travel Hub! The staff were so friendly and helpful as well. It has got a kitchen where you can have your meals at there. They even provided plates, cups, cutlery, water dispenser and so on but you must wash it and put it back by yourself after using which I don't think it's a big deal. The rooftop bar was so nice and beautiful. We had our breakfast at there. Choices of breakfast were quite limited. They provided free oatmeal, coffee, tea and bread but it's enough to fill your empty tummy. Location was good but it's dark and quiet at night. Girls don't come back late and always be aware of your surroundings. Cons: Only 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet per floor and only 1 hair dryer provided in the toilet. Hair dryer at first floor was damaged so we needed to go down to lower floor to use it which was inconvenient. It would be better if they provide more hangers in the toilets to hang our clothes. No toiletries and full-length mirror.

Perfect location for its price”
The location is very perfect for those who like night markets because it is right next to Petaling Jaya Night Market. It is also very accessible from the train station. Just a 5min walk to Pasar Seni Station then one station away from KL Sentral. Very easy to go places. Stayed for 3 nights in a mixed dorm. The bed only had one pillow, but the bed was comfortable enough. The bunk bed is kinda shaky. There are unfortunately no personal lamps, so it’s kind of a hassle to turn on the room light when you have roommates already/still sleeping. There aren’t room keys for guests, so you can’t lock your room. But I guess it’s okay because there’s CCTV in the hallway. If you’re the paranoid kind, just maximise the locker provided to you for your valuables. 2nd day I was there, the showers in our building were broken, so we had to use the one in the lobby. The breakfast was standard toast and jam with coffee and tea at The Attic Bar. No complaints, but the coffee got warm quickly. I think preparing your own coffee in the kitchenette is better. The walls are thin, so guests who are still rowdy at around 1am when the bar upstairs close can be easily heard. Facilities are okay, and the overall ambience is very cozy and homey, minus the noise upstairs. But that’s what you get for booking a hostel with a bar. The staff is very friendly, and the auntie at the reception allowed me to hang around the lobby and use the facilities even after I checked out because my flight was late night. Overall, it’s a nice place for budget travellers, especially if you like meeting new people. If you like more quiet places in the hostel, the kitchenette and the lobby are good choices. There’s also a fridge where you can store your takeaway food, and the water is ice cold. I like that guests are expected to clean after themselves because it comes with the whole travel experience. I’d come back, but maybe opt for a private room instead. No traumatic witnessing of drunk roommates having sex during wee h

Nice place in the heart of Chinatown”
Located in an old shophouse in the heart of Chinatown. Don't be misled by the lobby which looks a bit untidy and worn-out: individual rooms are actually nicely furnished with cosy climb-up bed and comfy sofa (my favourite place!) and TV below. Unfortunately most of these rooms do not have windows :-( Shared bathrooms are modern, neat and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Internet access and computer-terminal for guests. Best is the location: in the center of Chinatown (PetalingStreet) and close to main bus station, train station, and LRT. Beautiful rooftop bar with terrace, which doubles as breakfast room. Breakfast is rather simple: Coffee/tea with toast bread and spread (jam and peanut butter).

Good places but a few improvements would be nice.”
Soap wasnt always available to wash your hands in the restrooms, annoying. They gave me the smallest towel ever, I'm petite (5'2" and about 50kgs) and it barely covered me. They didn't want to give me the original price we agreed upon (when it came time for me to pay) for the extra nights I stayed after booking online. Eventually it all worked out with a little persistence. Rooms/beds were clean as were the restrooms,Tp always available. The bar upstairs is a little over priced but they have a happy hour and free BBQ Sunday. Sometimes the music from the bar was too loud for people trying to sleep on the second (dorm) level. Still would recommend to any and all travelers. Overall a great place with a nice and friendly staff.

One of the Best Budget Dorm in KL”
This is our first experience in dormitory and it was the best comparing to what we pictured/thought. They got perfect rooms for couple backpackers and they are super budget friendly. We were concerned about the fact that we’d have to use shared showers/toilets and we thought they’d be not clean or crowdy but turned out that they got showered/toilets in each floor and they are really clean compared to hotels in KL. Most of the room deals come with free breakfast, it’s pretty simple and nice. It’s a self service breakfast, they got bread, oatmeals, condensed milk, two types of jam and butter. The public kitchen is equipped with most of the things that you’d need to cook or prepare some foods. There’s coffee and tea throughout the whole day, you can drink whenever you want. The rooms are pretty clean and air conditioner works fine except room no. 103 cause it doesn’t get much cold because the air conditioner is old. Overall, I would rate this dorm 9 out of 10.

Yes, the private room was good!”
Good location, right near the subway. Right in front of Chinatown. There is also an 711. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. This is a hostel were it is easy to meet SOCIAL people and make friends. There is a common room with lots of space to read a book, drink free coffee, study, or get into a casual conversation with someone. My boyfriend and I stayed in a private room. The ac and wifi was good. Only downfall was there were no windows. I would def recommend our room for a short stay.

The best place for the first time travel in Kuala Lumpur.”
We were 4 girls when we stayed in this place. The location is really good. Near to LRT Train station Pasar Seni and bus station. In Chinatown (the area), we ate the delicious food (cheap food also) and then we went also to Night Market and Flea Market . For the room was clean and same like in the web's picture. The bathroom was big and clean. In this hostel, there is a kitchen for share. The staffs are really helpful. Finally, the rooftop is the best part because we ate our breakfast there with the view of the big city. Don't miss this place if you stayed in KL.

Great place for spending time in KL.”
The staff is very welcoming, the place is great, well located on a street that is close to the heart of Chinatown but with not too much traffic, thus pretty quiet at night for the area. Facilities are quite new and clean (especially the shower and WC are cleaned many times a day). Our room didn't have windows but it had a good size double bed in a mezzanine and an Ikea bunk bed for the kids. The Attic bar on the roof is a nice place and the free BBQ on Saturdays is just great. Also, the daily breakfast is ok although we didn't have fruit everyday. Being with young children, there is one thing we really have to be careful about though : the spiral stairs are very steep and not safe at all : the railing has holes big enough to let a child easily fell through, so we have to give a hand to the children while going up or down the stairs. Overall our stay was very pleasant, we would gladly come here again the next time we stay in KL.

Could be great”
This place would have been a perfect place to stay if they had had better signs for the toilets and friendlier staff. At first, I thought I would have to walk all the way through the main area, which is often full of people waiting, to use only 1 toilet and 2 shower rooms. There was no sign for toilet in the hall. Also, there’s a staff member is very cold and indifferent. I thought she was having a bad day, but then the next day, she was the same. I would rate this place a lot lower, because friendly staff is a big plus for any hotel or hostel; however, the man who works there is very nice and helpful so I changed my mind. The room was clean, and nice, so was the bathroom. I like having a decent sofa in my room. The free breakfast was ok, the wifi didn’t work for a while. Overall, this is a decent place for budget travelers.
