Very, very noisy. No sleep til past 3am. Appalling hotel.”
Stayed here on a Saturday evening. There were the usual noisy patrons which isn't the management's fault obviously. But staying in room 101 which was closest to the stairwell, all night I was repeatedly kept awake by other patrons stomping up the noisy uncarpeted, metal clad (?!?!) staircase combined with the fact that my room's door was badly fitted, paper thin and most definitely nowhere near sound proof. To make matters worse, I think there is some sort of staff room or night porters acommodation further down the corridor past room 102 as all night the fire door next to my room kept being opened and slammed shut. My neighbour in 102 (the only other numbered room in that corridor) was my friend and I know it wasnt him. Can only assume it was a staff member who couldn't be bothered to try and be quiet throughout the night. Because the my room's door was so badly fitted and loose in the frame, any time the staff opened the corridor fire door, my door slammed against the door frame, sounding like someone was trying to barge into my room. Finally, the room was pretty tatty. Electrical wire hanging out from below the bathroom mirror! But nothing you wouldn't expect from a cheap hotel I suppose. I understand you get what you pay for, but in this instance I would have had a better night's sleep staying in my car. I will definitely be looking elsewhere next time. Had no opportunity to mention the issues to the management as the (presumed to be) cleaning lady took my key off me as I was leaving the hotel and there was no-one on reception.

Cheap but poor maintenance ”
I stayed here for couple of nights. The reception staff member was helpful in allocating a double room instead of a twin. However, there was no bath tub in the room, no hair dryer and the reception staff were never present at the desk between 6pm and 8am. You need to call the phone number to get a response. The bar and restaurant was not open contrary to the advt. There were missing bulbs in the toilet above wash basin and huge spider webs below TV. Room was not cleaned during my stay at all and there was no shampoo but only a small soap which was provided. The area is outside Leicester in a small town with very few restaurants.

Was not a nice place to stay at all, I'm not a fussy person but It was very cold, no hot water, bed felt damp, the staff tried to get my card details after I'd paid already. Stay away!!

Terrible”
There weren't any
The hotel is completely out of the way for Leceister - around half an hours drive. When I arrived they said they no longer took bookings from Agoda and wouldn't accept my booking. They said they would give me a room but I would have to pay for it - nearly 3 times what I paid through Agoda. I argued with them and threatened to contact a lawyer, when they finally gave in and let me have my room. They then tried to charge me extra at check out, which I again had to argue with them about.

Never Again - Give it a miss”
There wasn't one
poor welcome. stayed 2 nights, room wasn't serviced - tea/milk not topped up or replaced, cups etc not cleanen or replaced, left dirty. towel rail fell off wall in bathroom, hot water uncontrollable either too hot or too cold in the shower to the point where it was dangerous. no soap in soap dispenser. quilt wasn't big enough for the bed. didn't try the breakfast so can't comment on that. noise and language of fellow guests arriving very late in the night and leaving early next morning. would i stay there again - no!!
