“Completely clean and satisfying, but it’s difficult to get to the subway station because it's up a hill.”
The accommodation was extremely clean and pleasant! The room size was spacious for Hong Kong. The bathroom felt a bit awkward in size... (the shower and toilet area were long and wide, but the sink was narrow.) There were some issues getting there, but cleanliness is very important, so I would consider visiting again. The staff was friendly, and it was possible to store luggage for free. However, after checking in, you have to climb several stairs to access the elevator, which made for a sequence of challenges with the subway, the hill in front of the accommodation, and the stairs, resulting in a bit of a physical challenge. As for the location… the road leading to the accommodation is quite steep, so I was worried I might drop my suitcase while pulling it up! A tip is that there is a suspicious elevator in front of the hill, but it requires a bit of a detour through another residential area and a park, which is inconvenient. However, if I go again, I would take the elevator, even with the detour. In terms of tourist location, it was very close to the famous escalator, and there’s a place called Gagu Tube for beef rice just right across the alley, making it perfect for breakfast before heading out. If you don't have luggage, walking to the subway station is enjoyable while sightseeing. Another tip is to check which exit at the subway station has elevators or escalators all the way, which can help prevent the unfortunate situation of having to carry your suitcase up the stairs.
