I went on a week-long journey through the picturesque landscapes of Kashmir. My trip began by visiting Srinagar’s Dal Lake and exploring the historic sites, then venturing into the serene valleys of Kashmir. Throughout my adventure, Agoda ensured seamless stays at every destination.
Upon arriving in Srinagar, I decided to treat myself to a luxurious stay at The Vintage Srinagar at Dal Lake. My adventure began with a delightful visit to Dal Lake, where I soaked in the enchanting atmosphere of Srinagar and explored the beautiful Mughal gardens. The following day, I had the pleasure of visiting Asia’s largest tulip garden before delving into the rich history of the region with visits to historical sites like Dargah Hazratbal and Shankaracharya Temple. To top off my day, I enjoyed the vibrant nightlife against the backdrop of Dal Lake.
Upon reaching Gulmarg, I checked into Pine View Resort for a cozy retreat. I kicked off my adventure with an adrenaline-pumping ride on the Gulmarg Gondola, taking in breathtaking views as I soared above the slopes. Skiing down the powdery snow added an extra thrill to my day. Afterward, I indulged in a delicious lunch at a nearby eatery before heading back to the resort for some well-deserved relaxation.
The following day, I set out to explore the stunning Drung Waterfall, marveling at its natural beauty. For lunch, I stopped by Tangmarg to savor some local cuisine. Another exhilarating Gondola ride and skiing session rounded off my unforgettable day, leaving me with cherished memories to take back to the resort.
As soon as I arrived in Sonmarg, I checked into the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Sonamarg for a comfortable stay. Eager to explore, I made my way to Thajiwas Glacier, captivated by its stunning views. I took my time to leisurely explore, indulging in some hiking to get a closer look at the magnificent vistas.
The next morning, I embarked on a journey to Pahalgam to uncover the wonders of Aru Valley and Betaab Valley. Along the way, I couldn’t resist stopping at a local restaurant in the Pahalgam market to taste the delicious regional cuisine. Energized by the flavors, I continued my exploration of Pahalgam before eventually making my way back to Srinagar later in the day.
When I got back to Srinagar, I checked into the Wangnoo Heritage Houseboats, mesmerized by its breathtaking views of Nigeen Lake. Eager to experience the tranquility of the water, I hopped onto a traditional shikara, gently paddling through the serene waters. As the sun began to set, casting a golden hue over the lake, I reluctantly bid adieu to Srinagar, heading towards the airport with cherished memories of my time spent in this beautiful city.
