Deoksugung Palace (Near City Hall Station)

Deoksugung

All kids would love stepping into a real-life palace, and there’s no better way than to start your day by Deoksugung Palace! Deoksugung Palace, nestled right next to Seoul City Hall, is the best choice to experience both the beautiful skyline of the fascinating city and the traditional beauty of Korea. This is our go-to place for dates, especially in the vibrant springs and the picturesque autumns. Spring brings a spectacle of cherry blossoms, while autumn unfolds a canvas of mesmerizing fall colors.

Deoksugung Doldamgil (Stone-wall Road)

Deoksugung

Encompassing Deoksugung Palace, the Deoksugung Doldamgil offers a picturesque 1.2 km stroll. It stands as a beloved dating spot for thousands of couples and is equally favored by families seeking delightful outings. It’s a signature photo spot within Deoksugung! What on Earth? Waffles in Korea – a Must-Try!

Deoksugung

Now, you might be asking, “What on earth does a waffle have to do with anything here?” Well, nestled right next to the traditional grounds of Deoksugung, a spot that stands out for its Belgian waffles creates quite the intriguing combination. It’s this quaint little dessert spot, famous for its long queues that spark the curiosity of anyone who passes by. So, if you’re someone who doesn’t mind lingering a bit in anticipation, this waffle haven is an experience you wouldn’t want to miss.

Deoksugung Palace: Brimming with Attraction and Charm

Deoksugung

Don’t let Deoksugung’s cozy size fool you; you can zip through this place in less than an hour, but every corner is stuffed with cool stuff to check out. It’s like a hidden slice of history, cozy but jam-packed with eye candy – from the classic vibes of Korean palace architecture to the swanky Seokjojeon, a Western-style palace that throws it back to the Korean Empire days. Seriously unique! And if you snag a tour through Agoda, you’ll get the lowdown on Deoksugung’s secrets, making your trip even more awesome. (Just a heads-up: Deoksugung is closed to the public every Monday, so plan accordingly!)

Laid-Back Café Street, Jeongdong-gil

Deoksugung

After fully embracing Deoksugung, it’s time to take a breather at a cafe, right? I highly recommend the cafe street of Jeongdong-gil, right next to Deoksugung. It’s one of the most beautiful and relaxing promenades in downtown Seoul. Let the red-brick buildings and towering trees of Jeongdong-gil welcome you to a leisurely afternoon. And with plenty of delicious bakery cafes around, you’re sure to find the perfect spot to fill up and unwind!

Deoksugung

Wrapping up a long day with peak trendiness? Say no more and head straight to Mondrian Seoul Itaewon Hotel. This place isn’t just 5-star fancy; it’s fresh off an interior glow-up that screams ‘trendsetter’ and is basically begging to be all over your Insta feed. Dive into the Jacuzzi to unplug, or immerse yourself in Korea’s vibrant nightlife by hitting the bars and clubs, where you can groove to killer beats and clink glasses under the neon lights.
