When I finally reached Goa, I was thrilled to check into my hotel, Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, Goa, one of the top recommendations from Agoda. After settling in, I couldn’t resist exploring every nook and cranny of the hotel, soaking in its luxurious ambiance. I lounged by the pool, sipped on refreshing drinks, and just let myself relax.
As the sun started to dip, I ventured out for a North Goa sightseeing tour. The evening breeze carried the promise of peace and beauty as I made my way to Sweet Water Lake, where the sunset painted the sky with mesmerising colours. I couldn’t help but snap a dozen pictures, just to capture that perfect moment.
The following day was all about exploring Goa to the fullest. After a heavy breakfast, I hopped on a Hop On & Hop Off bus tour, eager to discover all the hidden gems and iconic landmarks. From the bustling streets to the serene beaches, every stop brought new excitement and wonder. I soaked up the history, culture, and vibrant energy of this coastal paradise. As evening descended, I found myself wandering through the lively Arambol local market, famous for thrifting and local garments. I couldn’t resist picking up a few souvenirs to remember my trip by. And when night fell, the real fun began as I hit the clubs, dancing the night away under the starlit sky.
On Day 3, I was excited to explore Panjim and central Goa. I checked into the hotel Golden Tulip Goa Candolim and later embarked on a journey to visit the beautiful Shell’s Beach and Devil’s Finger Sea Cave during my Panjim city tour. The sights were breathtaking, and I couldn’t help but marvel at the natural beauty around me. Afterward, I took some time to relax at Vagator and Calangute, soaking in the sun and the vibrant atmosphere. Then, I made my way to Chapora Fort, where I enjoyed panoramic views of the coastline and reminisced about the history of the area.
On my last day in North Goa, I set out for another tour, eager to explore more of the region. I visited the northernmost beach of Goa, Querim Beach, and explored the Beach Caves, which were like something out of a fairy tale. The rugged beauty of the coastline left me in awe. With a heart full of memories, I started my journey towards South Goa, excited for the next chapter of my adventure.
After four exhilarating days in North Goa, I was craving some relaxation time, so I checked into my beach resort, The Ark Comforts, located on the serene Colomb Beach. As soon as I arrived, I felt the stress of the city melt away. The next day, I set out to explore the stunning coastline, starting with the famous Palolem Beach. The golden sands and clear blue waters were just what I needed to unwind. I soaked up the sun, took a dip in the refreshing ocean, and strolled along the shoreline, feeling completely at peace.
The following day, feeling adventurous, I decided to seek out two hidden gems: Betul Beach and Butterfly Beach. Both required a short hike, adding an extra element of excitement to my journey. As I trekked through lush greenery and rugged terrain, I could feel the anticipation building. When I finally reached Betul Beach, I was greeted by a secluded paradise. The soft sands and gentle waves beckoned me to relax and enjoy the tranquillity. After enjoying a blissful afternoon at Betul Beach, I made my way to Butterfly Beach, named for its abundance of butterflies. The picturesque cove, accessible only by boat or foot, felt like my own private oasis. I spent the day swimming and basking in the beauty of nature. As the sun began to set, I snapped some amazing pictures and then headed back to my beautiful resort to relax.
On day 7, I was excited to embark on a private tour of southern Goa, eager to discover new and unique spots. The day was filled with adventure as I explored hidden beaches, quaint villages, and lush landscapes. From the vibrant markets to the tranquil backwaters, every stop was a new discovery. In the evening, I joined a Heritage Walk, immersing myself in the rich history and culture of Goa. The highlight of the tour was visiting the iconic Cabo de Rama beach and its majestic fort. As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the horizon, I couldn’t help but feel awestruck by the beauty of it all.
The next day, I woke up early to cherish the view from my room one last time before checking out of my beach resort. The sun-kissed waves lapping against the shore, the gentle breeze rustling through the palm trees—it was a scene straight out of paradise. As I made my way to the airport for my return flight, I couldn’t help but reflect on the incredible experiences I had during my time in Goa. From thrilling adventures to serene moments of relaxation, it was a trip filled with unforgettable memories.
