Good relaxing place”
Spacious room, clean bathroom, comfortable bed makes for a good place to unwind after a day out Breakfast could be better, limited options and some food items were left uncovered which could attract flies Overall it's a good experience
My favourite beverage from Malacca has got to be Treasure's welcoming drink! The place was cosy and quaint - the pool water wasn't very clean but it didn't affect our stay as we didn't have time to swim anyway. The indoor parking is secure, and the location is walkable distance to Jonker. The hotel is very environmentally friendly, which is amazing. Their toiletries smell wonderful too. I have only praises for this hotel really, would totally come back here.
Good breakfast and quiet environment”
Nice local delicacy of breakfast, quiet environment, not crowded with people. Spacious room.
Everything about this hotel was great! Cool design, sparkling clean! We love the swimming pool so much, the view and the size is perfect for us. Breakfast was awesome, thanks to Ms Tan, she is very friendly and serve us with smile all the time. Wifi is very fast at the lobby while at the room still okay, better tha Digi. Private parking indoor and outdoor, welcome drink. We will definitely come back real soon
Really is a treasure”
Delightful boutique hotel within easy walking distance of old Chinatown and the colonial sites. Very comfortable room & the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Interesting breakfast choices and they also cooked me a superb omelette the morning I had to leave for the airport. After a number of somewhat disappointing hotels in Malaysia Treasures was a wonderful find.
Lovely Boutique Hotel”
We stayed here for one night. Location was great. Room was modern and the bathroom was sparkling clean and spacious. I loved the rustic yet modern feel about this place. The courtyard was cool and breezy... great place to relax and shelter from the blazing sun outside. Ample parking space. Should not miss a dip in the pool at the top floor!
Pleasant stay ”
Compare to other boutique hotel, Treasures Hotel will win over because they have private car park in a prime location. Overall hotel environment very peaceful. I would like to see some improvement in their breakfast menu in my next stay. Hopefully they could consider have Vegan selection.
Small Boutique Hotel. Airy with windows & fan if you want to ventilate your room.”
Hotel name is at the side of building, front Street level view, building name is Bangunan Bintang 51. Entering parking area look depressing as it is behind other building that looks run down. I am fussy abt hotel choice, I booked based on online review, my husband & daughter were "oh no, oh no, eeee, arrrh" when we were driving into the parking area at the back, but once inside hotel, they were happy. Entrance to Outdoor and Indoor parking is behind hotel. Indoor parking has less than 10 spots, plenty outdoor parking. Street parking available in front of hotel, Sat & Sun free street parking. Tan Kim Hock local food product just opposite hotel, great place to buy souvenir. Historical sites/red house a few block away. Funny - 3 company selling lottery tickets is side by side, just next door.
Rm 700/ night for Treasures?”
- due to set up of room (mattresses on wooden raised platform), we could hear stomping, jumping and running around from guests with kids over our ceiling when we were trying to sleep. Could not sleep - very limited selection for breakfast, for eggs - only dry scrambled eggs offered that is 3-star standard - no other special items offered for breakfast; we booked here as we thought we read of some special nonya dessert/ cake offered - the mega-kilowatt powered air-conditioner was a single unit affixed directly in front of one of our beds which was blowing us out of bed even at the lowest speed. We slept with the fan in the end - we only given water in glass pitchers. It wants to give a homely, green vibe but my personal feeling is that it is not hygienic and a bit cheap. I don't mind sharing shampoo, conditioner, bath gel from a refillable bottle and reduce waste but not drinking water unless there is a water cooler in the room.
Short vacation ”
It’s quite expensive for this hotel actually It only small room however love it because the room is clean the bathroom is A class the breakfast is good but need to serve more food internet connection is so so .. But love view from the pool beautiful
This heritage hotel is really impressive friendly & helpful staff, nice room, well equipped facilities & nice food, tqvm to staff for helped me to find a mechanic when my car battery is broke down at the hotel, well done!
Beautifully designed vintage hotel with nice swimming pool”
Loved the interior and cleanliness. Toilet was so beautifully designed with vintage tiles not forgetting that the bath tub is a bonus after a long day. Swimming pool is great and could enjoy some shades and privacy due to its design. Could just enjoy at the lounge chair for the evening. Lastly, breakfast spread is good with both local & western choices considering from a boutique hotel. Would definitely come back!
Great location and interior”
+ Location is certainly a plus. It's walkable to the historical sites and the Malacca river Another plus is the nice interior with nice courtyards and a rooftop pool. Inlove the tiles on the floor - There was lots of noise from the housekeeping staff knocking on doors dor room service The floor boards are made of wood and room is not sound proof and we could hear noises of people unplugging appliance or dragging chairs clearly
GREAT LOCATION GREAT POOL GREAT BREAKFAST”
PROS: Plenty of car park lots available Variety of breakfast is still acceptable, Quality but not quantity. Satisfied. Clean swimming pool Room Cosy and clean love the bath tub inside room CONS: Price a bit high
Nice hotel at the end of Jonker Street just 15 mins to the main tourist area...”
Nicely decorated hotel with nice breakfast spread... Traffic was bad as super long weekend for Malaysia... The kids enjoyed their swimming time at the roof top... We walked to Jonker Street Night Market from hotel on Saturday night...
Nice clean and spacious boutique hotel that not too far from the attractions in town. Service is Friendly and helpful...
Boutique hotel to visit Malacca”
Nice small hotel not far from the historical center of Malacca. Well-designed and decorated building with a long swimming pool on the roof. Friendly staff. Breakfast ok. Only drawback was related to my room which was next to the machinery / air-co room which generated a strong constant noise (a bit like that of a generator) but i think it was only an issue with the family room on the first floor.
Beautiful Place with a Very Convenient Location”
Like: 1. the deco of the place 2. the location of the hotel 3. helpful and friendly staffs Dislike: 1. stained cups in the room 2. damp smell in the room + along the walkway to the room 3. black mold on wall in the room 4. beds are not comfortable, they're too soft Overall, was an ok stay but is a little disappointed as the place was highly recommended by my sister who has stayed there previously. She is also disappointed this time because it was totally a different experience the previous time.
Really a treasure and a gem of a find”
Pros: 1. Hotel is quite strategically located 2. Awesome bathtub and shower 3. Really nice deco of the hotel 4. Friendly staff 5. Swimming pool was such a pleasant surprise and really cool view Cons: 1. Limited channels on satellite TV - stayed during the WC2018 and no coverage is very disappointing 2. Breakfast choice was limited and food was just OK 3. Needs better wi-fi connection
Really great choice”
Pros: fantastic staff do all to make stay enjoyable (without fawning), spotlessly clean hotel, comfortable room with tasteful "boutique" design, perfect plumbing, very generous free breakfast combining Malaysian & western as you prefer, best swimming pool ever, human scale. Cons (for some but not for us): on a busy street perhaps a half-mile from main tourist centre, common facilities perhaps a bit stoic.
