Favorite stay in Cambodia so far”
Tree top Guesthouse is definitely the accommodation I preferred of all my stay in Cambodia. I'm a solo traveller who's looking for cheap accommodation and hostels. I had a clean bungalow with double bed for 8$ a night. Shared bathroom is clean, shower has good pressure (no hot water but OK for me). The hospitality of the owner is perfect, she made me want to stay much longer. Food is good and cheap, view from the terrasse is awesome. Close to crab market and a little bit outside of the city, calm and beautiful environment. Highly recommended. There's scooter you can rent, but no bikes even it seems to have some. Some dogs leave at the guesthouse.

Great place!!”
We stayed at the Tree Top Bungalows for two nights in the cheapest room available. The location and hotel are so nice with the many small wooden bungalows. It felt a little like home and we enjoyed the great breakfast (muesli) and nice hosts. Furthermore, we were able to rent a motorbike for good price.

Okay ”
We booked here for one night after reading about the room and the amenities that would be included. After checking in we realized that we were not given the room we booked, the room we booked had a bathroom, supposed to have a mirror, dresser, shower, closet ect and we were given a room that had a bed and really nothing else just a shelf for some things to be stored. Our bags could barely fit in the room. Our bathroom was outside the room down a bunch of steps. It was a nice room however and in a high tree top, and had a beautiful view but I went and asked the owner and showed her the picture of the room we booked and that this was not the same and she said it was and mentioned something about how we get this room because we booked on agoda and she has to pay commission. However we went to the property the day before and asked to book a room directly for the next day and she told us to book online... very odd. We payed $28 cad for the room and kinda felt that the room we were given didnt reflect that value especially after waiting in reception hearing her quote $8 for a room that sounded pretty much like the room we were given.

Relaxing getaway”
I really enjoyed my stay at Tree Top Bungalows. Immediately the family that owns it was warm and welcoming. I arrived and walked up to reception, and seeing the view that's when I knew I had made the right choice of where to stay. I was looking for a few days of "me" time. A quieter place I could relax. This was that place. There's a long balcony seating top that faces right out to the ocean. You can enjoy these views over breakfast, lunch, AND dinner if you wish. I had my breakfast and tea there every morning and just stared at the stunning ocean view. I was travelling alone and had booked a single bungalow with shared bathroom, but the mother of the family that owns it was so very kind and took me to a double bed bungalow with an ensuite. Said it was slow so I could have this room. So free of charge she upgraded me. Outside the bungalow was a line of hammocks. I read in the hammock and napped a few times. So relaxing. Won't lie though, the bungalow experience isn't for those who dislike bugs of any sorts. I DON'T mean bed bugs AT ALL!!! The bungalow was clean and well kept up. But a bungalow is a bungalow which includes open areas to outside. With that comes some flies, maybe a few ants. Nothing that disturbs your visit though. You have a mosquito net that keeps everything out. I did find a frog hopping around one day, didn't bother me though. The mother booked my bus from Kep to Phnom Penh with Champa Tours (that's an entire other review, other spectrum of the scale). It was a very early pick up of 7:30AM, but she made sure I had my breakfast and tea with the view and left on a full stomach. Her children were very friendly, all staff were. I'd recommend this place to anybody. It is a beautiful property ran by beautiful people.

Beautiful property with a stunning garden and lovely hosts”
We loved the lush green gardens full of fruit trees and cute little tree houses. Each one of them is different and special. The main area where the restaurant is is beautiful, with stunning views of the sea. We ate free organic passion fruit from the garden every morning. The lovely lady owner was very helpful, smiley and sweet. It's for people who love nature, the energy there is very positive and calming. We booked the cheapest room with shared bathroom but got upgraded free of charge and without asking to a room with private bathroom, how nice is that! The menu price are also reasonable. Also I need to say that I was surprised how clean Kep is, no rubbish around compered to the rest of Cambodia. I highly recommend to stay there, it's a simple accomodation but it's vibe heals your soul!

Just what the doctor ordered”
We stayed in one of the cheapest bungalows here. The wifi didn't work as we were so far down the field but that wasn't an issue. The rooms were fine and to be honest I really liked staying in it! If you're not a fan of bugs this place isn't for you though, we had some monster spiders crawling on at night! The owner/host is wonderful and super helpful and keeps giving you fruit from the land. Delicious! Highly recommend staying here, but there are other and similar options around locally not available on agoda etc that are also worth looking at

Cheap and friendly with everything basic you need”
Very friendly staff when available but no atmosphere and all lights turned off at 8. Cheap bungalow($5 a dollar) with everything we needed. Tree houses were beautiful but expensive. Good location and close proximity to explore Kep National Park but quite a long walk to the beach.

Great place for the budget traveller”
Looking for down time. It's away from the beach, but for $3 or by ordering $5 worth of food you can use the pool at Kep lodge. This is a family run business, there are kids and dogs. If you hate waiting or something like that, this is not for you.

Short stay”
location near national park, peace and solitude, friendly staff
i wanted to stay somewhere quiet and near the national park so I could do some hiking. The bungalows were a refreshing change from hotels. Still had comfort of an ensuite though. The common area/restaurant was great. Nice views out over the water, great sunsets and always a nice gentle refreshing breeze! Would stay there again in ever in Kep.

A nice experience”
location, staff, view
In general we had a swell time there. However I found a bit expensive, especially compared to other resorts around there. On the other hand, we wanted a tree house stayand got it. The room was very small and shaky on every step. Nothing worrying, but doesn't help to relax in the room. However our balcony had an amazing view. The staff was friendly and helpful. Be very careful when borrowing a bicycle (free); my friend found out one of the breaks wasn't working. I got a broken chain and had to walk for most of the route. I would suggest it definitely, but I would keep back from staying more than two nights.
