Great place to stay”
Beautiful house, nice room and very friendly staff! They help you with any question you have. The way to the centre of town is a bit far, walking around 40 minutes. But you can eat at the restaurant of the hotel :)

One of the best hostels ever!”
Trekker Camp is a really nice hostel! You get a lot for your money! Breakfast is included, chilled atmosphere, quite location but still some local stuff going on in the evening. Good food close to the hostel. The staff was amazing! They are always there to make you feel as comfortable as possible and give you a lot of tips for your stay in Chiang Mai. I can absolutely recommand the hostel! Thank you for everything!

very nice place”
Trekker camp is a very nice place to stay in Chiang mai. It is a very laid back atmosphere there. The breakfast is basic - but a lot of it. There are bicycles including, but you may have to try a few out, before you find someone that is a little allright. But it is a fun experience, and really nice to bike around chiang mai. But don't do it while the sun is out though, you'll melt away. The room was really big also. I didn't find the bed to bee comfortable, but you'll live with it. It is a really nice place to stay.

Exceptional”
Made our travels around thailand much more worth it. Lovely, friendly, welcoming staff that are always there to help - no matter the problem! Would highly recommend staying at trekker camp if visiting chiang mai. Did not want to leave this thai family behind, sad to be saying bye to them!

Exceptional”
We had a great time at the Trekker Camp:-). The staff was very friendly and helpful at all time, the room was nice and clean, and the breakfasts consisting of Thai dishes and toasts with jam were very filling. The hostel is located outside of the city center, which we appreciated because we could explore also other neighborhoods. It is the best and the fastest to take a bike to get to the city center. The hostel doesn’t provide their own bikes for the guests (only for longer trips), but you can easily use the app Mobike and there share bikes which are pretty much everywhere. There are some local bars with a nice atmosphere near the hostel and also cheapest smoothies around:-).

Would totally recommend ”
I've stayed at trekker camp for 7 days with my sister and I have to say that it was a really good experience. They offer good breakfasts and free bicycles. The stuff is very friendly and they made us feel as welcomed guests. I would stay here again if I had a chance. If you don't want to spend much money and still enjoy your accommodation then trekker camp is a great option for you.

Great staff! ”
Trekker camp is a good, cheap place to stay for travelers who want a calm place to return to. The location is decent with a 20 min walk from the urban part of Chiang Mai. Bicycles can either be borrowed for free or rented (for more expensive bicycles.) There are also scooters for rent at the hostel. The best part of this place is the staff. They're friendly and laid back, always eager to have a conversation. I can honestly say I made friends here, which is why I strongly recommend Trekker Camp, especially for solo travelers! Hot showers, comfy bed, and friendly staff”
This was my second time at Trekker Camp. The first time I stayed as a single woman, next time with my husband. It feels very safe and the staff are so friendly. It's very basic, but the beds are comfortable (which is very unusual for a cheap place such as this), the hot shower works, it's clean, and they give you free water. The only down side is that they didn't come in and clean after our first night (we stayed two).

Lovely hospitality, great stay! ”
My stay was great! I got in early to Chiang Mai and they let me move in at 9:30 AM! The staff was eager to book me tours or give me advice. I was even offered a volunteer job in a village for the weekend but had to sadly decline due to prior plans. The first couple days here I had the 8 person dorm room all to myself. It was nice but I prefer meeting other people hence why I chose the big room! The walk to old chiang Mai city takes about 30 minutes but it is a straight shot from the main road to Thapae road. Make sure to pay attention because there is 1 fork in the road you may miss on the walk back. A red truck will bring you in to CM city for 20 baht p/person! Very easy so the location isn't terrible! The free breakfast is lovely! Simple eggs, toast and coleslaw with coffee or tea! Mmmm! However other meals are best eaten out because there isn't always a cook in the kitchen. I found when I ordered a meal they sent a runner out to pick it up from a near food cart. It's easy to just walk down to the main road and grab it yourself. This hostel did not have an lockers in the dorm so I brought my valuables with me everywhere, it's a bit of a pain but not bad! Overall, fabulous stay!

Value for money”
I think it is a great place to stay. It is value for money. And the staff were amazing. It is a 15mins walk from old city but for us it was not a problem. It was very safe and you can experience a cheap and authentic thai massage 50M next to trekker camp. If you are on a budget, i would highly recommend this place. Thank you scott & ola

great place for any travellers”
Very friendly and helpful staff. Welcoming and joyful and family environment and good open space to meet other travellers. The breakfast and meals are delicious. Would recommend trekker camp to any travellers whether long or short stay, and whether wanting to trek or just see Chiang Mai. It's quieter short walk away from the very busy city area.

super fresh staff! ”
We really enjoyed our stay at trekkercamp camp. It's a bit outside, but if you have a bycicle or motorbike, you are fast everywhere in Chiang Mai. If you need anything, just ask the staff, they will help you! Next time in Chiang Mai, we will stay there again. On the way to the city center, there is a lady, selling delicious smoothies for only 10 Baht!

The Best staff of all”
This place is very nice and cozy located a bit outside from the hustle and bustle of chiang mai center, but very near the beautiful ping River and also an amazing beautiful area across the River with the biggest oldest trees of chiang mai. Also there is a nice jazzbar with live music 2 minutes away walking. The staff there is amazing. Big thanks to Ola for hanging out drinking a beer, and big thanks to Scott and Mini. Unfortunately we had to leave one day earlier and had booked a dorm for just one ekstra night. But they where very nice and returned the payment for the one night. We will definatly come back and stay again some time. Thanks a lot

Very kind staff & nice place”
We stayed here for 3 days on our visit to Chiang Mai. The place was very nice and comfy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean enough. A bit far from the center of the city but you can find places to eat nearby. The part we liked the most was the staff. They were always smiling and we felt very welcome. They told us how to get to the market, they suggested us a nice massage place, they brought us to the airport cheaper than using a taxi, and we could ask anything we needed. We enjoyed this place very much. (There was a cute pigeon outside the shower window!)

Go there! ”
Thought of 3 days but ended staying a week. Buy the driver Mr. Sok a beer and he'll tell the funniest stories all night, be kind to Sugar and she'll help with anything, talk to the family and they'll invite you for dinner. The owner let my use his electric guitar, the working boys joined me at the local gym, several times they helped me with transportation. Had some great moments with all the people there, they truly lifted my experience in the smoke-filled Chiang Mai! And please tell that Simon from Denmark said hi and will come back.
