Location: General Luna is just a small town so you can go around the place easily from the hostel (either rent a scooter or call for a trike). The hostel is located in the peaceful road of General luna and along the highway. How to get there: there are several van outside the airport or from port of Dapa (tricycles) to get you directly to Tres islas Hostel. They also have their hostel service which is actually cheaper fyi, you can contact them directly through fb, ig or email or even in agoda inbox for pick up schedule. I suggest to get their service. Itinerary: the staff are the best! They help you maximize your stay in the island and give your options for joiners or private tours (whichever you prefer). They also have their own package tours. -this place is highly recommended! *newly built (clean rooms, linens, etc) *open kitchen(Can cook for free)complete utensils *clean toilets and shower (very important) *superb customer service *affordable(i swear) Enjoy!

Best hostel in the whole of Asia”
I don't normally write reviews, but this hostel and it's staff deserves some praise! Never have I felt more welcome then in Tres Islas. The staff is what makes this hostel special. They are very kind and helpful and they really connect with their guests (they even went out partying with us a few times). I think this hostel is especially is a great choice for solotravellers since the lobby is a great place to meet new people. I made some awsome friends there! Tres Islas, thank you for a wonderful time! I'll surely be back! Zico

Tres Islas: A real home ”
It was an amazing experience when I got to Siargao for the fourth time, but this time it was memorable and exceptional, so to speak. I didn't know Tres Islas until I realized that it was very far from the usual hostels near to the known restos and some attractions in General Luna, but still I enjoyed my everyday jog and walk around the street of palm trees . It's like the back door and one of the quite places in GL. The staff were really great and accommodating. Had fun even with the co-travelers in the hostel. Budget-wise this is highly recommendable. I was really hooked-up with the place and can even call a real home in Siargao. See you on my next visit.

Staying at Tres Islas hostel made my adventure in Siargao more SPECTACULAR !!! ”
They're sooo so nice, very accommodating, so affordable, not pricey at all. The place is just so perfect for me, quite (perfect for those who wants some peace of mind), very clean, and they have free hot and cold water, free use of their kitchen utensils, including their ref, like how great that is ! I sooo loved their coffee too ! lol. When my head got hit by a surfboard fin, one of their staff really helped me a lot, accompanied, and drove me to the Pharmacy to bought some medicine without hesitation, I really appreciate him the most. When you're with Tres Islas, it really feels like home, they'll make your stay more comfortable, and treat you like a FAMILY ! So, I highly recommend this place 'cuz there's no place like Tres Islas in Siargao as for me, I would definitely come back and see you soon !

We had an absolutely amazing time at Tres Islas! Facility was super clean and staff was incredibly helpful in assisting with finding tours/scooters/surf lessons/etc. Everyone was so friendly-we didn’t want to leave Siargao!

I’ll only stay at Tres Islas in Siargao!”
Loved my stay here. Ended up staying almost 2 weeks at Tres Islas. The staff are what made my stay so memorable. They’re all super kind and welcoming and became like family. What’s really nice about this place is that there is free water (hot and cold), and toilet paper and they let you use the kitchen and the facilities are all nice and clean! I stayed in the fan dorm which was totally fine because with the fan, I didn’t even need AC. Whenever I come back to Siargao I’ll only stay at this place!

Exceptional”
Best stay in Siargao. 🙌 Although a bit far from the main tourist area (approx. 10 min. travel time and the road a bit dusty. But everything else made up for it. The staff were friendly and nice making you feel at home, the room clean, although there are occassional power outages in the area (they have a generator though.) If you're looking for a budget friendly stay in Siargao then this is perfect. Oh, there's free drinking water in the hallway and free breakfast as well. 😉

I loved how the neighborhood was quiet but still in a good location. The staff was very accomodating. They have really good coffee. They rent out motorbikes. They provide towels. They got the best price. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again when I go back to Sirgao.

I never felt so at home far away from home. The manager became my instant chummy. The staff were warm and accommodating. As they say it in Filipino, “SULIT”. I will definitely come back and stay again in Tres Islas. I had an awesome stay. One of my favorites to date.

We stayed here for 4days and 3nights. I usually dont make a review but this Hostel is exceptional, it will make you feel home and comfy. The owner itself is the one who is very welcoming and accommodating. Although at some point the location is not in the action center, its only a 10 or 15minute tricycle ride into General Luna where you can eat, drink and surf to Cloud 9. This hostel will made you feel home very cosy and accesible. We had a wonderful stay. Thumbs up to all the people here and in Siargao. The vibe here is just awesome 👌

We were a bit disappointed at first as we booked 3 private double rooms but ended up having 3 dorm-type rooms. But it turned up to be a surprise! We had 5 bunk beds in a room. Haha! So we had more space. I also assumed their private rooms to have their own cr/bathroom, but I was wrong. However, their common bathroom is always clean so no worries. All their staff members are super friendly and very accommodatig too. The place is a bit far from General Luna where most of the restaurants are, but it's close to Cloud 9. You'll have no problems with the transpo as well as you can kindly ask their receptionist to contact a trike driver. 😉 The free breakfast is a silog with big serving of rice and unlimited brewed coffee. Drinking water is free as well. So if you're a rice eater & coffee lover, this is a place to be. They have ongoing construction, so I'm looking forward to seeing what it's gonna look like when the whole place is done. 🙂

A comfort zone away from Home”
It is ideal for a solo traveler on a longer stay because the place can be a comfort zone and a family. Experience a boodle fight with the Staff whenever one has a birthday😋 Staffs has become Friends and so is the owner who visits occassionaly! Also a Pet friendly resort and well the entire Island due to the Expats has become so particular in promoting the Free Spay and Neuter to the Community. Massive Kitchen and you can make your own Vegetarian Food. If you are an Animal Friendly traveler, you can bring some Cat and Dog Food treats, many homeless but friendly animals around... that are owned by locals and are being fed by Tourists. If you want to exercise, you can walk Cloud & Alpha - Tres Islas 🐕🐕🐕 and swim with them in the beach. Not to mention, Toto the Chef who can cook your Filipino breakfast...😋😋 I stayed for over a month💯

The staff was our family for the last four days, the room was clean, a cool space for chilling, always great music. There is a kitchen and a fridge with all the accessories you need. the bathroom and the shower were always clean. The staff helped us with everything, laundry, transportation, bike rental and recommendations.

Highly recommended Hostel in Siargao. with Clean Rooms, cool staff, free daily breakfast, ice cold aircon, comfy CR with unlimited tissue, free use of kitchen and 24 hours Security. Its definitely a home away from home. A complete package deal at a very affordable price. They will also provide you a bike to be rented to make your trip more efficient. Even multicab going to airport is not a problem, they will assist you. Kristine from the first day is a very big help. will definitely get back here....More guest Tres Islas!!!!
