Superb location”
We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. Ideally located for Dublin City centre, everything is just a short walk - ideal after a few Guinnesses. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable, we slept very well. Would recommend and would love to return.

Exceptional”
Trinity City Hotel was absolutely excellent. We enjoyed our stay. You cannot ask for a better location as it was stone-throw distance from Trinity College, Temple Bar and Liffey River. The staff were courteous and very helpful. Their restaurant was really good. If we go back to Dublin (which we are planning to), Trinity City Hotel will be our first choice to stay.

mixed reviews on how I feel about this hotel...”
I was very excited about this hotel and traveling to Ireland with my elderly parents. I was REALLY excited about the hotel. I chose a large room that had a king size bed and a fold out sleeper sofa, but for some reason Agoda or Trinity City Hotel charged an additional $35 a night for a 3rd person because that room was supposed to be for 2 people though it was quite large as an Executive Suite at 40 square meters. I was very upset when I discovered we had to climb over 25 stairs to get to it, and it had a LARGE bathtub you had to step into, which is not possible for my parents. I appreciate the hotel accommodating me to find me a different room that my parents were able to use. It was a LOT smaller but I personally preferred the decoration and style of the newer room. The buffet breakfast isn't that great or worth the price; you can eat at a local diner around the corner. The bar and lobby are worth spending time in. Great location and easy to get to the airport.

Trinity City Hotel”
Elegant hotel and an excellent location within walking distance to much of historical Dublin including Trinity College, River Liffey, St Stephen's Green, Christ Church Cathedral, St Patrick's and so much more. Everyone on the staff was helpful, friendly and courteous. I had issues with my phone company failing me completely with no international phone services. Front desk staff helped me contact my credit card companies to inform them of the problem since calling them was the only communication method. This saved my trip. Many Thanks!

Graet Value”
Stayed here mid week and found this a good hotel.Soothing colours and fabrics through out. Nice reception and bar / resataurant areas. The bedroom were a good size for a city centre hotel.Comfortable bed and adequate bathroom.Location fro this hotel is a major plus.It is across the road from Trinity College and all attractions on Dublins South Side.

Accessible to everything”
We had a good stay. Staff was friendly. The food was good and in a very good portion, appropriate to what we paid. We were given the gregorian suite. Room was good. Only thing was there were no lift. Had to carry our luggages up the staircase. It was ok as we asked the staff to help us and they were very obliging. The hotel location was less than 20 mins walk to all the major places in Dublin city. We will definitely come to this hotel again when we come to Dublin.

Unique and gorgeous lobby/bar/restaurant area.”
Unique and wonderful hotel. Beautiful and expansive lobby/bar/eating area that affords so many ways to enjoy friends and family, or just having a drink by yourself. Room was tight but well appointed, clean and comfortable. Staff, particularly Maria Philipova, were outstanding! Well priced considering all of the above and proximity to Dublin's tourist spots and burgeoning financial district, not to mention across the street from Trinity College.

Great location, excellent infrastructure, but hotel management can be improved”
First of all, I had a good stay and will recommend this hotel to others. PROS: 1. Great location. Walk distance to Trinity College, Oscar Wilde statue, St Stephen's Green & Temple Bar, etc. 2. Very comfortable bed and mattress, lovely courtyard, balcony (6th floor) 3. Delicious breakfast CONS: 1. Staff are in general friendly, but need more training. Failed to arrange housekeeping (though confirmed through phone). Slightly inexperienced in computer system. What most disappointed me was that the two complimentary bottles of water smelled rotten and tasted acidic. The small tea table on the beautiful balcony was very dirty and was obviously so in the beautiful sunshine. 2. Electric sockets are mostly arranged in a hidden or inconvenient place (and not enough). 3. The lift is inconvenient for those with luggage. Conclusion: Every hotel has its advantages and drawbacks. I still recommend it. I guess the issues are mostly with its higher management instead of frontline staff.

Great service but I didn't get to stay there”
when i reached there, they informed me of being overbooked for the first night. the staff offered to transfer me to another hotel (morgan hotel) for the first night and transfer back the following day. i was quite unhappy initially because of the hassle, hence i requested for all 3 nights to be at the morgan hotel. the staff were very helpful and friendly, offered me free dinner etc but i was unable to take them up on the offer. location is actually further from morgan hotel (3 mins car ride away, 7 mins walk) but worked out better for us in terms of proximity to trinity college/ locations we wanted to visit.

Great location to the town 5 minutes walk to trinity college. Quirky decor, but this made it more of an unusual place to stay. Room clean, spacious. Only gripe would be the loud bangs of the hotel doors.... need soft closers

Friendly hotel at good location”
Nice building and foyer area. Well-situated in the city (but that might depend on what you wanna do there). Rooms are not big but clean and with good bath room. The colouring of carpets and curtains (red/violet) is a big special but I thought it was funny. Internet in the room is convenient.

Perfectly comfortable stay in heart of Dublin”
I was attending a meeting at Trinity College and this was the meeting hotel. The staff was accommodating to my early arrival. Room was perfectly comfortable and quiet (despite being above a fire station). Easy access to/from the airport, but allow time if traveling during busy periods.

A Malaysian Experience ”
Love this hotel for the following reasons: 1. the hotel has the traditional Irish ambiance 2. the room I stayed was cosy (good for one person) but not for two because there is not enough moving space to two guest. 3. No coffee/tea maker in the room or complimentary drinking water which are expected is even a three star hotel 4. Location of hotel is excellent because it is within short walking distances from many touristic areas and the Liffey river 5. The receptionist are lovely and helpful (important and wonderful characteristic of Irish)

Really liked this hotel. After traveling 28 hours arriving very tired, asked for a quiet room. They put us in a great courtyard room, very clean, bed was super comfortable, didn’t hear anything and slept like rocks. We like to walk and found the hotel convenient to walk to shopping, sites, everything we wanted to see. Liked the nice touches such as fresh fruit in the lobby along with lemon or cucumber water. And water in the room. Getting a late check out was easy and bus to the airport picked us up right across the street. Would stay there again.

Huge variance in rooms”
Initial room (4th floor) was tiny, hot, overpriced and noisy with the window open for ventilation. Moved to superior room on 2nd floor which was excellent. Room rate offered via hotel website was €50 per night cheaper. Agora rate of €188 per night for standard double too expensive. This price is advertised on hotel website for a superior room/suite. Do not accept 4th floor rooms! Excellent location, near to main areas - Temple Bar, river, Trinity College etc. breakfast OK but buffet style at €12 a little expensive. All staff Eastern European with a handful of Irish. Pleasant enough, I guess. Complained of hot room but we're fully booked, so they gave us a fan, which helped. Stayed in room 407 which overlooked noisy fire station to the rear. Busy road to front. Moved on 2nd night to a superior room/suite (270) which was excellent and had air conditioning. All in all, a satisfactory stay.

Lovely room. Comfortable bed. Nice shower. Warm room. Really good location. Took us 5/10 mins to walk to Temple Bar area. Bus stop right outside the hotel to take us to the airport. Great place would highly recommend and would definitely return to this hotel. Next time I would like to try the restaurant as i didn’t have time during this trip. Food smelt amazing. Staff friendly.

Overbooking without a notice ”
Disappointing. I have booked two rooms at Trinity City Hotel for my colleague and myself. Due to a flight delay, we first arrived there at 11 PM. The staff told us it was overbooked but we weren't informed of that at all, not by e-mails or calls. After some waiting time, we were relocated to another hotel which is much farther away to our business meeting. Since it was so late already and we were pretty tired, we had no choice but reloaded our luggages to our car to drive to the hotel. If I were the hotel, I would have sincerely apologised (but not in the staff's arrogant way), informed the customers in advance, improved the internal booking system to avoid overbooking, offered free breakfast as compensation. Well, apparently we didn't get any of these except one-time breakfast that we almost had to 'beg' for. I will never book with Trinity City Hotel and do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Nevertheless, wish all of the Agoda travellers a wonderful time in Dublin!

Not 4 start hotel, for sure”
I think not the best hotel where i stay. Simply even if youll go to 3 start hotel u'll found minimum requirements like toothpaste. slips and etc. Which is i didnt found here in 4 start hotel. I pay money for 20sq.m room but i got 15sq.m room. (by the way i paid more then 200EUR) which is much enough to go 5 start hotel. Finally this is my one time experience with Trinity City Hotel and i dont think so I'll repeat.

Can’t believe it was discounted from £645 per night- as that wouldn’t be value for money ”
Great location , good bar meal & helpful staff. If I’d Paid advertised rate before discount I would have been disappointed -room view over fire station but for £153 you can’t complain. Close to some fun pubs & shopping. Bus directly outside for airport . Hotel could look at changing curtains - they let the room down. I would recommend at £153 per night- all good stuff
