Best hostel I've seen in Kaohsiung”
Perfect location - literally in front of the metro station! The place was convenient and had everything you need in a hostel, including laundry and a small kitchen. There's free breakfast too. The lounge is big and inviting, you might actually be able to meet other travellers here. I stayed in 4 different hostels in the neighborhood and TripGG was definitely my favorite!

Nice Location & Great Place + Helpful Staff”
I stayed there with 2 of my friends. The place is very clean and large. Shower room and toilet is very clean. No complain. The adapter plug at your bed is universal, so don't worry about the adapter type. There is a living room for you to hang around if you aren't heading to bed early. And a computer with quick internet access for you to use. Fridge is full of drinks and kitchen is full of food in case you are lazy to walk out. The location is very good, once you take the lift down, you will face the train station entrance Exit 1 (Formosa Boulevard). Then you can get to anywhere you want. Anyway if you are looking the way to this hostel, take the train to Formosa Boulevard station, then head to Exit 1, turn left, look up, it's on the 6th floor of the building in front of the station. There is a noodle store in walking distance, it's very nice. At night time, you can walk to the nearest Night Market over there call Liuhe Night Market. Staffs are very friendly over there, they are helpful too. Thanks Tina & Angela for everything during our stay there. Definitely will recommend this to anyone that would like to travel to Kaohsiung. very comfortable hostel”
I stayed there for 3 nights. The most impressed is their location, which is just next to the metro station of the city centre. Inside the hostel, you can have a great view of the city. The evening market is just 3 mins walk. It is very convenient. The room is quite clean and the staff are very nice. It is recommended to stay there when you travel to Kaohsiung.

The hostel is situated in front of 美丽岛station (exit 1), but a bit difficult to find on arrival, because it situated at level 6, and there is only a small, dark colored sign board at entrance. (Look for building no. 117, 南华银行)。 The facilities in the room and shared facilities are very nice, staff are friendly and helpful. The only aspect I wasn't happy with, was the payment method. When doing booking through Agoda, and after my booking was confirmed, I was never been informed that the hostel actually not prefer credit card payment. I was charged with 3% processing fee - although I aware that credit card payment came with processing fee, but from my own experience staying in hotel and hostel in other places of Taiwan, i don't think all property charge the processing fee on customers. Of course I respect tge choice of this property if they would like to, but i think it would be better to alert the customers during we do the booking, say you don't prefer credit card payment and customers will be charged if still keen to. You know, i stayed for 8 nights, which cost NT 16350, this is quite a large amount, whether in local currency, or my own country's currency, if i'm going to bring cash or activate oversea ATM withdrawal, i need some prearrangement. Without such prearrangement i proceed to pay with credit card, hence the price was different from what it was during booking.

TripGG is a minute or less away from Formosa Blvd. (Take Exit 1) which makes it very accessible. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It is about 2 minutes away from Liouhe Night Market.

Nice hostel to stay ”
The hostel is just next to the MRT exit 1, nearby there is a night market 5 min walking distance. The staff is very friendly, informative and helpful. The toilet cubicle is quite small once u close the toilet door. Overall the stay at there quite cozy and clean, will go back there when i visit Kaohsiung again.

Located just in front of exit1 dome of light Formosa boulevard station, 6th floor of HuaNan bank. Right in the red line MRT, easy access to airport, Kaohsiung main station and Zuoying HSR station. They provide towel, slipper, personnel locker, curtain, private light & electrical plug on every bed. Will surely return for another Kaohsiung visit.

Convenient, comfortable and quiet hostel which is less than five minutes walk to Formosa Boulevard station and Liuhe Night Market. Awesome lounge where I can do my work all afternoon and enjoy the serenity and city view of Kaohsiung. Kind and staff. Two shops below the hostel sells decent soup and popiah. Faulty cupboard door and shower head though.

Basic accommodation where one can get almost everything”
We stayed for 1 night in a private double room in late September. This hostel is situated in a perfect location in just a stone's throw to Liuhe Night Market and the MRT interchange station! Friendly staff, property well-secured and managed, complimentary coffee and toast in the morning, and comfortable common area are definitely advantages of Trip GG. Last but not least, though we didn't use the kitchen, it's helpful to have one which is fully equipped in a stay place.

It's near the most beautiful subway. The staff was so hospitality, the room was clean. I felt comfortable when stayed here. I will come back here when I have a chance to return to Kaohsiung.

The location is right next to the metro. Staff is friendly and gave us good advice on the itinerary. Rooms are clean and comfort. Kaohsiung is a nice place. Will definitely come again!

Good stay but can be better”
Great location, directly just outside of Formosa Station and there're super nice stalls selling braised rice, rice bowl cake right on the left of the hostel, which is also directly in front of the Formosa exit. Thought the hostel might be quite happening but it's not. It was super quiet during my stay and the staff were not exactly friendly as well, there was no interaction within themselves either. Facilities wise, it's all good - women's bathroom has a lot of cubicles and was spacious at the dressing tables. However, the water pressure for the shower heads was a bit low and the WATER TEMPERATURE is quite bad - it kept going super hot and super cold, and it doesn't stay at the temperature you've adjusted. Very weird no matter how hard I tried.

One of the best hostel I have stayed. Clean and good location. Beds are comfy and though its a double decker bed, it is very stable with your own bedlamp and power point. The bathroom is very clean and spacious. The "living" room also has a good view for u to chill and relax. Highly recommended!

Good Place to stay”
This hostel is very near to the night market and very convenient to the train station. We are a group of youth who stays for 5 days, we are happy to chat, eat in common room, and the dorm is tidy and comfortable.

The location is just next to Famosa MRT (exit 1). Common area is cozy as home that you can spend hours there. New hostel with clean rooms and spacious toilet. Thanks to the staff and host I had a wonderful new year count down. Will visit again. Common area 和浴室打扫旳很干净，赞！谢谢你的打狗啤酒！有机会 下次再聚!

Excellent location. One minute from exit 1 of Formosa Boulevard MRT. Very convenient for me as I have an early flight and need to take the first MRT to airport at 6.12 am. Staff very helpful and nice. The view, particularly the night view is beautiful. Room is quite small and narrow and the inwall tray can be bigger to better accommodate our stuff. For the price charged and for the facilities provided I give the maximum rate of ten.

Perfect hostel”
Perfectly located, very clean and tidy, inviting, i loved this hostel! A lot of shower and bathroom to use, lockable box and comfy bed available. The little kitchen has everything necessary for a good evening, after visiting a night market.
