Cold showers, tiny room - not worth the money!”

Free fruit and buns, Air conditioning, Easy check-in and check out

this was one of the worst! After weeks of cold showers and rock hard pillows all we wanted was a hot shower and a comfortable night's sleep - the hotel promised hot water but the shower didn't work and none of the hot water taps were walking. The staff tried to 'fix' it (pretty sure they just ran the water for 15 minutes and then gave up), but to no avail. Our room was tiny and the hotel isn't that close to downtown Yangon. We'd previously stayed further out in Bahan and liked that area much better. There is only one staff member we encountered who could speak English, all the others had very basic knowledge which shouldn't be the case in a hotel.

Don't even try! unless you're in a very urgent”

None, none, and none.

My friends booked this hotel for me but I headed there 1 day before they arrive. So, my find was terrible. Power plugs are loosely, I can't even plug in my USB power adapter. The room smelt so bad, really really bad. The bathroom? don't even try! There is a power outlet just behind the shower. No idea why they put it that way. The room was very poor, the bed wasn't that great; it took me 3 hours before I could close my eyes. The room floor was very dirty I have to wear my shoes all the time. The only thing I found it's okay is the staff, the guy was very helpful. Oh, and the location was also okay by the way.

Staff friendly walking distance from center

Not that close to the city center but in walking distance. I picked it up for it's lowest price, but I did'nt find it a good value for it's price. After few days we found a better value, centrally located. Guesthouses are a better deal than some hotels.

Not a terrible experience, but bad value for money”

friendly staff, next to supermarket, next to public transport

Our stay started off on a bad note. The hotel's page clearly mentions "Airport Transfer" and we even provided our flight details while booking the page. In fact, we booked this hotel over a cheaper one after taking into account that otherwise we'll be paying for the taxi. But there was no one at the airport to pick us up. So we called them and they claimed they didn't do airport transfer. After much haggling over the phone they said we'd just have to make our own way. Unhappily, we jumped in a cab and when we got there, to our surprise they paid for it. But the next day they tried to charge us for it, but there was no way we were gonna let that happen. The internet was incredibly slow (as with most of Burma) and we had to change rooms late at night because our aircon wouldn't work. Luckily the staff were SUPER friendly or this would be a much more negative review!

staff were nice but nothing else good to say

dirty including a dead cockroach in middle of the floor. toilet didn't flush well. one outlet in room which couldn't even have fridge and tv on at same time. no elevator (normal in lower end hotels in myanmar). terrible water pressure. a/c noise. no top sheets or blankets unless ask. rusty door knobs. in east part of downtown which isn't as good an area for tourists. basically a skidrow dump at mid range prices. staff were friendly and attentive but so were they at most everywhere we went in myanmar.

A cheap option but do not expect anything good”

Location and price in relation to general pricing in Yangon

Basic. Rooms very humid. In Yangon due to lack of hotel rooms the prices are well above the general cost of life. This hotel is a cheap option but really not getting your money's worth. However if you compare it to what you would have spent in other hotels it gives some relief to have saved money.

Most expensive hotel for in Myanmar and the worst”

Nothing positive to report

The rooms were tiny, dingy, dirty, and reeked of mould. There was a dead cockroach in the bathroom and plenty of mosquitoes in the room. The Internet didn't work. There were no towels, soap or toilet paper and we had to go ask for these after checking in. There were also no bed sheets. It was also very bad in terms of value for money relative to other much more pleasant hotels we stayed in other parts of Myanmar for half the price.
