Clean hotel space.
Its a great place to stay. Room was big and clean. Wifi good, aircon strong, hot water was there. Fridge in the room. In the old town so its closed and quieter. Plenty of shops and reataurants around. Loved it. def recommend.
Spacious room, clean hotel, staff a bit unfriendly. ”
We stayed a few nights here and felt the location was perfect for checking out the old city. The room was clean and spacious, there was hot water downstairs for tea and coffee whenever you wanted, bottled water was provided (if asked for) each day. The only downside I'd say were the staff, they weren't very friendly and often sat around outside by the hot water dispenser but wouldn't even say hello if you came by so it was a bit awkward. I kind of felt like I was imposing as a guest there. But other than that it was a nice little place!
The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very nice and let us use their printer. The location was perfect for us to walk around the old city and also venture out to the night market outside the old city. Perfect place, good value!
Nice & Quiet”
Massage centres, travel company, bike/motobike rental & restaurants are all downstair. Located in a quiet area which is comfortable & great, to the main area within 15mins walking. HOtel room size is nice with private bathroom, free coffee and hot water all time. However, bedsheet was a bit old to me...
Clean, good sized rooms, quiet location ”
Very large room (I had a Deluxe Double room no. 11).The room has nice view on a quiet Soi and even the mountains, there is no traffic. Rooms comes with wooden floor, plenty of light and an in room safe, flat screen Tv, minibar, relax chair with stool, cupboard for your clothes a huge double bed. Attached is a decently sized bathroom (shower and WC). Strong Wifi signal. So: enough facilities to make your visit as comfortable in any aspect. Location; tucked away in the nort-eastern part of the old town. Supermarkets are within in a short walking distance. Helpfull staff and daily cleaning!
Great location in the old city”
Have stayed here several times. Great location with walking distance to sunday Street market, bars and hidden little restaurants in the alleyways. Which are great to explore. Plenty of temples around every corner to visit. Hotel is also not far from airport
Triple Palms A Delight”
Like Triple Palms, a lot. Friendly staff, great location, large, clean rooms. Would stay here again. Also, they are next door to Grasshopper Adventures, a cool bike tour company. I've gone on their tours all over SE Asia.
felt like home”
The room is too big, and of course, it's very clean ! I found 10 plugs in room, so you can charge your devices as much as you want. If I have to visit Chiang Mai again, I will definitely stay at this place !!
Super nice staff and clean nice rooms. First morning had some mini ants but cleaner dealt with them so that we did not see any later in our 3 night stay. Staff helped with ordering pizza and kindly did everythings we asked ect were overall very nice. Rooms are like in fotos. Recommend.
It's nothing special. Bit of a walk from attractions and there's a drunk guy hovers around the building making a lot of noise. Hot water is provided downstairs but you have to wait 10 mins until it boils. Pretty average bed. It could be cleaner.
Nice hotel, great location”
Good value, clean, with large, comfy rooms. There are cheaper places that are just as clean (albeit slightly smaller) nearby. Location is prime in the Northeast corner of the Old City. There's a great noodle shop around the corner with tasty soup noodled for 40baht.
Good, Clean, convenient location on a quiet soi but walking distance to busier sections, nice staff. ”
I stayed during low season. Prices on Agoda were considerably cheaper than booking in person. I ended up staying one extra night but had to switch from a Superior Room to a Deluxe Room. The rooms seemed nearly identical to me but one was more expensive - unsure as to why. Still, better priced on Agoda regardless.
It's a shame really. This used to be a great place. But over time the furniture has gotten worn, stained, chipped and not replaced. The rooms need a paint job. There are cobwebs in the corner. The toilet paper has been replaced with tissues. Inexplicably, all the shower curtains are gone. The soap has been replaced with industrial sized bottles of body wash. In other words, corners are being cut and upkeep is non-existent. I guess the owners assumed the good name would be enough to keep the place going forever. Sooner or later this place will slide from "ok" to "bad".
Quite good ”
Staff was friendly and everything and the room was also quite good. One thing I noticed is that they haven't cleaned our room or changed towels even if it says they would. But overall it was quite good.
We booked this hotel as a cost effective hotel because we had many plans throughout the day. This hotel is conveniently located, clean rooms. Can't comment about breakfast as we didnt availed it. They told us to leave our shoes downstairs :-O and there was no chappal provided in the room. Bathroom floor was so cold -( Rooms are o.k. Value for money hotel.
Too short to stay only one night...”
Nice staff with friendly smiles. Due to our early check-out, I request the breakfast to be taken away, they already packed in proper boxes before 7:30 am. Well prepared ! Stayed in a connecting-rooms for a family of four is comfortable experience. The only drawback is to walk up to third floor... Overall, value for money !
Great Spot in The Old City”
Triple Palms is in a great spot in the North Eastern part of The Old City. The rooms are decent here and the staff were super helpful. They arranged to have our washing done quickly at very short notice when we arrived and even let us leave a bag with them for three days while we travelled to Mae Hong Son.
Lovely Guesthouse ”
Had a lovely stay at this guesthouse. It is in great location, near to great restaurants, bars, massage palours, transport and not far from airport. My husband and I could even sleep in one day as street was nice and quiet. The only negative thing about tripple palms is that it does not have an elevator and we were on the top floor. Other than that, I'd reccommend it to anyone visiting Chiang Mai
Tucked away, yet startegic location”
Was booked for a week, even got an upgrade to a suite (not sure why). Front desk as extremely helpful, and patient with my daily barrage of questions about Chiangmai and my plans. Location is nice, tucked into aside street, but walking distance to Thapae gate and a few steps from world famous breakfast place Blue Diamond. I was on the 4th floor (no elevator) so bit of daily exercise climbing up and down! Definitely recommend for those who want to be old city, but away from the noise with sense of privacy
