A Wonderful Hotel/Great Location and A Good Price”
i have probably stayed in 25+ different hotels in bangkok (from the oriental to the peninsula to the amaris's)----and walked through 50+ hotels, so i know my hotels---(i even have a home in thailand in koh samui). having said that, triple two silom, with it's fantastic location on silom road, great prices (trying booking through agoda) and large rooms is a great value with wonderful rooms and a helpful staff. the rooms are extremely large---the location is right on silom road and close to pat pong and the river----and the prices when booked through agoda--is great. i highly recommend the hotel. also--the restaurant---is very good and fairly priced with a good buffet breakfast, buffet lunch (vietnamese) and dinner (often seafood) buffet). if you are thinking of staying on the silom side (versus sukhumvit---with it's more active nightlife--although silom side has pat pong), you can't go wrong with triple two silom. don't think twice---but simply book it.
We chose Triple Two Silom Boutique Hotel after reading previous reviews, it was a great hotel. We stayed here the first four nights of our one month stay in Thailand and a night at the end of our trip. The rooms are very nice, clean and have some amenities we didn't find in other hotels in Thailand. One of the only two (we stayed in a total of 9 different hotels) that has washclothes, clock and desk. Wifi was great. Also a couch, which we found most hotels don't have any kind of seating other than the bed. The location was within walking distance of the BTS (Skytrain Silom Line), which we used a lot to get all around Bangkok. Staff was great, very helpful. I would definately stay here again.
Ideal place in Bangkok”
We stayed at the Triple Two Silom Boutique Hotel in Bangkok for three nights this past October. It was our first time in Bangkok and we intuitively made the right choice. The hotel is located within a few minutes walking distance to the skytrain (BTS) station "Chong Nonsi". A good choice of restaurants, street food stands, night markets and roof top bars are all within walking distance as well. We found our room and bathroom spacious and very clean on arrival. Huge breakfast buffet with a big selection of Thai and other Asian specialties, as well as western foods, including a nice variety of fruit and juices. Very friendly and helpful staff - during our stay and also prior to arrival. We would definitely book this hotel again.
Outstanding Triple 2 Silom”
this is our 3rd trip to bangkok. we previously had stayed at the amber boutique silom., which we like greatly. this trip no vacancy at amber boutique for first 3 days, so we booked the triple 2 silom. we were much impressed. well beyond our expectations. first, the triple 2 is located on silom road, right near to the food stalls, restaurants and shopping that we are most familiar with. patpong night market; bangkok christian hospital; state tower are all within walking distance. a couple of malls close also. many 7-11s for extra bottled water, cigarettes, etc. superb breakfast. looks like sushi bar. the lobbys has lots of wood. beautiful wood stairs to our 2nd floor room # 2205. nice size room. with sofa, desk and large 45" hdtv. king size bed was comfortable. luxury pillows. the completely marbled bathroom is huge, bathtub and separate glass enclosed shower. door separates from bedroom for extra privacy. toilet, OMG, the toilet is hands free. $70, good value

I just keep coming back ”
I've lost count now of how many times I have stayed at the Triple Two Silom Boutique Hotel. I discovered it 3 years ago and it's now my first choice when visiting Bangkok ( sometimes its booked full up and i have to stay elsewhere.) It is everything a hotel should be: clean, cozy, friendly, secure, quiet and fairly priced. The AC is cool and and the draft Singha beer served in the patio bar chilly and delicious. It is perfect in every respect
Very nice hotel”
We had read good reviews about this hotel and we were certainly not disappointed. It is only small (around 75 rooms. We were warmly greeted when we checked in. The room was quite big with a very comfortable king size bed, sofa, and large desk and had nice flat screen TV. There was also a DVD player with a long list of DVD's available to borrow at no cost. The bathroom was really nice and big with a large bathtub and seperate large shower. The water pressure was very good. It was all in marble. We were provided with a nice fruit platter, dressing gowns and slippers. The corridors of the hotel were wide with sented candles placed every few metres. It is next to the Narai Hotel and is owned by them. When getting a taxi it is better to tell them the Narai as they don't seem to know the Triple Two Silom. The breakfast was very nice with small but adequate choice. The coffee was freshly ground espresso which was a nice surprise. The poition of the hotel is right on Silom Rd and around 15 minute walk to Pat Pom. Just past Pat Pom is an Irish bar (O'Reilly's) with an amazing thai band dressed up and playing Beatles music!! Aparently they are quite famous and have been playing there for many years. They were really good. All in all we thought the hotel was excellent value and would definatly recommend it to anyone.
The Triple Two Did Not Disappoint!”
We did an extensive research in the internet before choosing which hotel to book in Bangkok. Finally, decided on Triple Two Silom because of consistent good reviews. We are so glad we did! The rooms are beautifully laid out and very spacious. The appointments were tasteful and unpretentious. The towels were thick and soft, and the housekeeping lady kept everything neat and homey. Our flight back home didn't leave until past 12am, and the staff gave us a room to shower and freshen up just before leaving for the airport, free of charge! We recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a hassle-free stay in Bangkok. It truly did not disappoint!
Pleasant December Stay at Triple Two Silom Hotel”
The 222 Silom Hotel has a number of good features that may be important to visitors. This boutique hotel has modest, tasteful and comfortable interior design. The facilities are clean and appear to be well-maintained. Small humidifiers placed along hallways disperse a refreshing aromatherapy scent which lends a very nice impression during room departures and arrivals. The staff maintains a crisp, professional appearance and consistently conveys a friendly, helpful and sincere demeanor. There are many interesting sites, restaurants, and shops located in close walking distance to the hotel. Of particular interest would be the Gems district stores near Holiday Inn, Silom Village for reasonably priced, good quality Thai food, and many antique shops dispersed throughout the eight blocks surrounding. The hotel is a very short distance from one major expressway. It is 35 - 45 baht taxi ride to Saladaeng skytrain stop, and it is a short 35 baht taxi ride to nearby Chao Phraya River taxi-boat docks. Not so appealing is that there are two or three, non-hotel-sanctioned taxi hawkers who stand outside of the hotel trying to direct guests to specific taxis, which may not offer the most honest services. Our solution was to simply waive-them off without words and walk up the street to easily flag taxis which were driving down the street (Note: We recommend NOT taking taxis that are parked on the street, as these are almost certainly associated with the questionable taxi-hawkers). Overall, this hotel offered the most pleasant stay with reasonable pricing of the many hotels we've tried in BKK over the years.
Better than any hotel I have stayed in!”
Loved mt four nights stay st his hotel. All staff were helpful and friendly. The room is luxurious and extremely comfortable. The room is big and the bathroom is like a master suite...with high end finishes and great water pressure. appreciate the welcome fruit tray and complimantary water. Since leaving this hotel, I have checked in somewhere else (in Bali) which I paid much more and received a fraction of the service and attention to detail than Triple Two Silom. Would return here in a heartbeat. The free shuttle bus service to MBK is also another great touch.
We had a very nice stay the Triple Two Silom. The staff was very sweet and welcoming. The hotel itself is very nicely decorated with an asian flair. The rooms are very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were large. We liked the seperated shower and bathtub. The breakfast was good. They had a medium selection of cereals, hot food like eggs, pancakes, ect, and thai food. The only critic I have is the staff was not very helpful when we wanted to finds places more authentic Thai. We ended up wandering around on our own to find areas not packed with tourists. Any very important, if you go to Patong to the bars and reastaurants, do not feed any elephants. These animals are endangered and you will only be supporting their owners exploitation of these beautiful creatures.
We enjoyed a lot staying at triple two silom, I was sick at that time and they helped me finding the hospital and the staying was to be as at home. Very clean, with nice architecture and the structure is new. It is a simple boutique hotel with all what you need!
very nice hotel”
i liked triple two silom hotel cos is very new close to the center access to BTS train station very helpful and friendly stuff especially i wanted to thank joe and giggs who hel;ped me where could go for shopping or entertainment very value for money the room and bathroom very big with LG tv satellite programmes i really book again in that hotel; when i visit thailand next year
More than what I expected”
I'm a first time traveler in Bangkok and I didn't really know much about the place. I booked the hotel without much expectation about it, given that I only need a room to crash in the evening when I'm already very exhausted. When I got there, I was assisted by Sai, who was very friendly and accommodating. The first surprise came when she mentioned that I got upgraded to a Premier room. So I thanked her, but still didn't expect that much. Sai assisted me to my room, and it blew me away! For a boutique hotel, the room was huge and beautiful! I checked out the actual pricing for this room, and again I was surprised since it really is a good value for money. Now I didn't want to leave the room. Overall, my stay was great, the staff we're really friendly, the location is great and I had a great time. Only regret was I didn't get to try their food. Apart from that, my overall stay was fantastic!
This small hotel next to the more well known Narai Hotel ( coming from the airport ask for Narai Silom as drivers will not know about Triple Two) is a tue gem in the jewellery section. The rooms are quiet, clean & comfortable & the staff are knowledgeable & always helpful. I have stayed at this hotel a few times and will continue to do so.
Dear Anna, Thank you for sharing your experience of your recent stay with us at Triple Two Silom. We appreciate your feedback and are delighted to hear that you had a great stay and we hope to welcome you here again very soon for your next trip. Sincerely, Triple Two Silom team
Nice modern hotel in Silom”
Hotel is in quite a good location on Silom Road although, from our experience, there’s not many good restaurants within walking distance. Nearest Skytrain station is Chong Nonsi about a 15 minute walk away. We booked a double room for 3 nights and for the price paid thought the room was exceptional. It was very large and modern, with a king size bed, a separate cloakroom, a settee, and desk; and a double door led through to a very spacious bathroom with a separate bath and walk in shower. Only disappointment was how early this hotel (and its sister hotel the Narai next door) closes their restaurants in the evening. We arrived from the airport on a Saturday evening and after unpacking were ready to eat at around 10:15pm. We were shocked to find that both hotels’ restaurants has stopped serving food at 10pm. It was pouring rain so we did not want to walk far and were told that the nearest place where we might still get food was the Silom Village which is about 5 minutes walk away. We went there, but frankly the food and service there was awful. For two major hotels in a big city like Bangkok I think it’s ridiculous that their restaurants don’t stay open later, especially when many of their guest must arrive late at night from international flights. The included breakfast buffet was OK, but not as good as we’ve had in other hotels in Thailand. The coffee was particularly strange. They did not let you serve yourself, and when you ordered a coffee it was brought in a tall mug which was only half-full, if that! Very odd! The fresh mango however, was amazing. The bar/restaurant adjacent to the street and the hotel lobby was OK but a bit lacking in atmosphere an a bit overpriced for drinks compared with other bars in Bangkok.
Terrific boutique hotel with personal touch”
This hotel is very special because of it's luxurious style. The hotel has a grand reception but is very personal in it's welcome. The staff takes their time to make you feel welcome and help you with any needs. The rooms in "the Triple Silom" are spacious with very comfy boxspring beds. There is even a workspace provided to accomodate your (business)travel in any way. A grand bathroom with seperate shower and bathtub, even spacious anough for a couple to relax in. The hotel provides you with dvd's to use in your room without charching anything for this service. Breakfast is wonderful, enough choice of whatever you like. A hotel worthwhile for recommendation!
Tripple Two Silom great room and better service”
Of the ten or so hotels that we stayed in during our four country trip, the Tripple Two Silom tied for number one. The staff was personable, professional, very helpful and made us feel like valued guests. Our room was excellent both in space and in detailing. I especially appreciate a separate shower that has good water pressure. The bed was comfortable and closest space adequate. The writing desk in the room as well as a business center just down the hall, greatly facilitated the work that I needed to complete. The sky train is about a ten minute walk with taxis and tuk tuks right out the front door. Within a block is a morning market with great food, a hindu temple and moslem mosqueand monks receiving alms--a great hub of cultural activity. Several major gem gallerias and shops, and a supermarket are within a ten minute walk.
We booked two rooms for 4 nights The rooms are pretty good, clean, spacious, comfortable. The staff are polite, helpful and always have smile on their face. There are two bad things, firstly we requested a double room and a twins room and emailed to the hotel, no one response and finally they didn't reserve a twins room for us, unless they deal with it finally. secondly, I find the staff who make up the room will check the stuffs I put on the table. Also the location of the hotel is not far away from most famous shopping area (ie Central World) . I will consider the hotel again since the price is really cheap and everything are good.
Dear Chin, It is indeed a great honor for us that you have chosen our hotel to stay during your visit to Bangkok. We are appreciated to say thank you very much for your value review and have good experience with our hotel. This feedback has great impact to our staffs. There was an unexpected occurrence with our front desk and housekeeping service. We can only ask you to kindly accept our most sincere apologies and we are still committed most to improve our work process and remind our staff to handle with more careful in the future. We hope that you this incident will not alter your expectation to our team and we are look forward to welcoming you back again. Best regards, Santi Mr. Operation Manager
I've stayed in Triple Three Silom 3 years in a row during Songkran festival. Every year I come back I always see their improvement in facility and services. I was completely impressed by their staffs who are willing to offer me earlier check in at 11AM & free room for shower after my check out time. Value for money hotel with 5 stars services. I definitely come back for next trip
comfortable rooms, nice location”
i've been staying well at this hotel because my room was comfortable, clean and homely. wide bathroom with both shower unit and tube, capacious wardrobe where a large suitcase can remain open. the hotel is located on silom avenue next to narai hotel well known by taxi drivers. the closest sky train station is chong nonsi that lies less than ten minutes faraway. due to the euro\thb exchange rate it's hard to find cheap rooms as once in bangkok but triple two can still offer a very good mid-range service. the staff is kind and helpful, i've not eaten any breakfast but the food i ordered in my room was delicious even in the late night.
