Laid back at Gili Meno”

Stayed with my wife in Tropicana Bungalows for four nights. Originally we planned staying for only three but extension was easily negotiated at the Agoda price. Room was clean and roomy compared to other budget locations we've accomodated before. One has to prepare himself for cold and salty shower, which cleans you surprisingly well though. Our room was also equipped with two fans instead of one. Nights were still filled up with sweat, however. Breakfast was mediocre and good. Nothing to complain about. Beach is 5 min walk away and there are great places to eat nearby. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Tropicana Bungalows and the staff was very helpful whenever assistance was needed. The thing is not to expect five star accommodation for budget price. There's no room for stress in Meno.

Homestay in local family”

When you arrived at Tropicana Bungalows you realize that you are living almost with the family and the locals. It’s surrounded by nature and it’s a little hideaway. Eddy was very helpful and his family as well. The breakfast was also very yummy! We had a good stay other there. Recommend for sure. And the rooms are very clean with 2 fans !

Easy going, relaxed, nothing over the top”

we had a very relaxing and stress free holiday, the staff at tropicana were really sweet, amazing at fire poi, just ask for a demo. while we were staying they were building a new restaurant,i can't wait to come back to eat here, the cooks at tropicana are awesome, their nasi campur was the best of the whole trip! clean, comfortable, reasonably priced accommodation. A really tranquil getaway.

comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom - cold water only. two fans provided ample circulation. Complimentary wi-fi is only valid for 3 hours per day (1 device at a time) and isn't always reliable. Room is not cleaned or tidied during stay, but the staff are friendly and the breakfast/restaurant serves up some tasty food! Right around the corner from the beach and Meno Mojo restaurant. Gili Island is a lovely quiet oasis. Located on the same side of the island as the pier where the fast boats arrive and depart - approx 5 mins by Cidomo.

I was accomodated in Bungalow only for one night. I really liked the surrounding of the bungalow - calm place with the feeling of right untouchable nature. The breakfast was served as we wished. I recommend this accomodation for travellers who want to feel real atmospfere of domestic people.

Very quiet, cute bungalows”

The bungalows are located a bit inland from the beach, so they get a little warm (since there's no breeze), but it's very quiet and almost jungle-like. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly too.

Gili Meno is awesome for snorkelling and relaxing ”

Nice welcome upon arrival but we were told that the hotel was far away from the harbour but it's not true, less than 10 min walk by the beach. The bungalows are very close to the beach but not on the beach, which I think is a pitty, if you are in Meno you want to stay by the beach (nice wind at night). On the check out day we were told that we could live at 12h, and when we came back from the beach somebody else told us we had to leave right away at 10h which I think was very rude. Would definitely go back to Meno but with another accomodation on the beach.

Location wasnt Greet and so was the staf ”

Booked this hotel judged on other comments. Painfull to say that it wasnt our thing. The Location of the bungalows was in the center off the town and far away from the best place of the island: north west. Its like a 3-4 minute walk from the beach but not the beach you want the be. If you like a good cocktail or just a nice sunset again the north west site is the best Location and Thats a 15-20 minute walk. The room is old but clean. All in concern we only stayed here for 2 night even when we booked for 3 nights. What most offended me that when i was talking to the staff about this they all couldnt help me and the owner or any other one that could speak english could be find in the two days we were there 2 fans

Very nice and relaxing, friendly and accommodating. Would recommend this for a budget stay.

cheap but not worth it”

Shower didn't work at all- so we washed with the tap- thank goodness we only stayed 2 nights. Very basic room and not a good breakfast. Even though we were the only people staying we didn't get a better room. Mosiquito net wasn't big enough and so being in bed feels like being in a cell!

decidimos ir tres días a este hotel de Gili Meno para acabar nuetro viaje de un mes por Indonesia y la decision no pudo ser mas acertada, los Bungalows son acogedores, a 2 minutos de la playa y el personal es encantador, sin duda recomiendo este hotel.

Tranquillité garantie”

Nous étions ravis de notre séjour à Tropicana Bungalows. Le fait d'être dans le centre le l'île (à 5 minute à pied de la plage) apporte encore plus de tranquillité. Chambre propre et accueil charmant. Nous avons organisé le snorkling avec Tropicana, prix très correct et bon accompagnement.

Die Bungalows liegen ein bisschen versteckt wenn man von der falschen Seite kommt. Aber sie liegen nah am Strand innerhalb von einem schönen Garten. Das Personal war freundlich und das Frühstück gut.

Die kleine Bungalowanlage wird von einer Familie geführt. Niemand spricht gut Englisch und so wird jeweils bei Fragen und Bitten freundlich genickt, obwohl niemand ein Wort versteht. Die Umgebung der kleinen Hüttchen ist gepflegt. Sobald man sie jedoch verlässt, um zum Beispiel an den Strand zu gelangen, findet man tonnenweise Müll vor. Auch die Bungalows selbst sind nicht sehr sauber.
