Worst hotel stay experience in Vegas”

We booked a 2 queen bed room and when checking in they went about everything just fine and when we got up to the room it was just a 1 bed! When i called guest services to let them know that my room was incorrect and that i needed a 2 bed room she just kept saying she couldn't accommodate. I asked to speak to the manager and she put me on hold for over 10 minutes before i decided to call from my cell phone and was transferred right away to the manager. The manager kept saying that it was not his fault that it was the company i booked through that they put i wanted 1 bed and that all he could do was provide me a roll out bed. After arguing i told the manager that it was fine i would take the roll out bed. we went out to grab dinner and when we came back at 10 pm there wasnt any roll out bed in the room. Extremely disappointed i went downstairs and requested to speak to the manager. The manager stated that they were completely out of roll out beds and the best she could do was blankets.

They offers you very bad services.”

I booked a room for one night and they gave me the room number #666. We requested to change the room because we know that there were plenty of room left. We checked it when we were booking. But the lady who helped us rejected that she was saying there were no room available. We were very exhausted and tired so had no other options not to take it. There are usually a long line-up at reception desk, but only one person usually works so you have to wait forever to check-in or check-out. You can smell tobacco even in a non-smoking room. Very Bad. I have Hilton Vacation Club membership, and telling all of my friends not to use it in Vegas.

Fast check in, clean rooms, clean linens, warm water in the shower. We had the king bed room, no fridge and microwave but they have shower and tub. Location is great, vallet parking is included in the resort fee. They have plenty of self parking space too. Only thing I didn’t like is their low ceilings but overall, we had a pleasant stay.

    Good Location and quiet

Location of this hotel is at the end of Las Vegas strip and so it is less crowded as compared to other hotels towards the middle of the strip. If you are looking for a quiet hotel, you might want to consider staying here. There is a car rental company within the premises and that works as we rented a car very quickly. Some of the things we hoped were better was more food choices in the food court which was very limited in comparison with other hotels we have visited. Lastly, this hotel charges a daily resort fee which covers amenities such as internet, etc, that you will pay only during check in. This cost is not included in the costs seen on Agoda accurate at the time of writing this. Overall, the experience was pretty good and we would consider staying here again.

large room, nice pool, on the Strip

We like Tropicana as its competitive rate and great location, it locates at west end of the Strip so when we walk through the Strip we just need to head east. The room is large and clean, very comfortable. The kids loved the pool and enjoyed it a lot. The casino it just downstairs and easy to access and try you luck. It is also family friendly so don't hesitate to choose for your family vacation.

the tropicana hotel located at the begining of the strip, oposite of mgm, you can walk along the strip from starting, we like it. they have a big room with nice decoration. facility is worn out. if staying at the special rate, that will be reasonable in las vegas area.luckly, we had the special room rate in our staying.

    Quieter than larger casinos

the location was very good. the tropicana's location on the strip but not in the middle made it possible to be able to leave the noise behind at the end of the day. we dined at one of the restaurants and the food was excellent and very good value. if you like to dine early they had a 3 course special and it was also very good. the staff were very helpful and polite. like many other american hotels there is no refrigerator!

    excellent rooms

front desk service was excellent. booked the night before on agoda and it wasn't in the system. the clerk contacted the duty manager and everything was fine within 30 minutes. as with most hotels in vegas, the room was lacking some basics such as a ref and microwave in order for the guests to spend more time outside the room. aside from that, who can really complain about a 42" hd tv along with one of the most comfortable beds i've slept in in quite a while. top it off with "block out" window blinds to sleep in after a late night and you really have a winner.

Very large hotel on the strip with its own Casino attached to it. Our room was large and clean. Nicely furnished. Very quiet. Location is awesome since it's right across from the Excalibur and next to the strip. Free parking is included. The breakfast buffet was plentiful but expensive (25$ per Person). They sometimes had long waiting queues in front of the buffet. Most of the staff were very friendly but some seemed a little impatient. Casino was large and they had a theatre for shows.

bucket list NYE in Vegas trip”

we booked our room well in advance of our New Years Eve stay and got a great price. Room was clean, staff was friendly, and we had no issues at all. We could go right from our room out to the strip for the NYE celebration and come back in just as easily when we were cold or needed to refresh our drinks. They shut down the strip for NYE and we all just partied in the street. What a blast.

    Perfect for our needs”

My family was coming West, mainly to visit the Grand Canyon and other National Parks. We flew through Las Vegas and decided to stay a couple of nights since we had never been. We are wanted a hotel/casino on the strip so we could get the full experience and the Tropicana provided it. The hotel is clean, well located in the middle of the Strip, and fairly affordable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Downsides are that they don’t keep hot tubs open even when weather would have allowed it. Also the walk from lobby to rooms is quite far - not just through the Casino, which we knew to expect bit than another 5 minutes to get to the elevators. We are not into gambling and didn’t see the shows so can’t comment on those, although Purple Reign is very reasonably priced. Self-Parking is free but also a long walk and limited spaces. Overall, just what we were looking for to start our family vacation right.

This was our second time staying at the Trop and it really is a good option for Vegas. Really good facilities, a cool casino and the rooms are well decked out. We were hoping to upgrade our room, but this was cost prohibitive. A great place to stay.

    Great location”

Its my first choice for Vegas hotels love the location and ease of parking compared to the larger resort type hotels. Stayed at several other hotels in Vegas but always seem to come back. Enjoyed our stay once more. Great job.

Good location and stay was enjoyable”

Overall, the experience was pretty good and we would consider staying here again.

    large room with reasonable rate”

large room, nice pool, on the Strip

We like Tropicana as its competitive rate and great location, it locates at west end of the Strip so when we walk through the Strip we just need to head east. The room is large and clean, very comfortable. The kids loved the pool and enjoyed it a lot. The casino it just downstairs and easy to access and try you luck. It is also family friendly so don't hesitate to choose for your family vacation.

    Nice hotel”

    Nice swimming pool

the tropicana hotel located at the begining of the strip, oposite of mgm, you can walk along the strip from starting, we like it. they have a big room with nice decoration. facility is worn out. if staying at the special rate, that will be reasonable in las vegas area.luckly, we had the special room rate in our staying.

On the strip but not too big”

    Quieter than larger casinos

the location was very good. the tropicana's location on the strip but not in the middle made it possible to be able to leave the noise behind at the end of the day. we dined at one of the restaurants and the food was excellent and very good value. if you like to dine early they had a 3 course special and it was also very good. the staff were very helpful and polite. like many other american hotels there is no refrigerator!

    great bang for you buck!”

    excellent rooms

front desk service was excellent. booked the night before on agoda and it wasn't in the system. the clerk contacted the duty manager and everything was fine within 30 minutes. as with most hotels in vegas, the room was lacking some basics such as a ref and microwave in order for the guests to spend more time outside the room. aside from that, who can really complain about a 42" hd tv along with one of the most comfortable beds i've slept in in quite a while. top it off with "block out" window blinds to sleep in after a late night and you really have a winner.

    Very good”

A great place to stay in Vegas. ”

This was our second time staying at the Trop and it really is a good option for Vegas. Really good facilities, a cool casino and the rooms are well decked out. We were hoping to upgrade our room, but this was cost prohibitive. A great place to stay.
