Great! Excellent!Fantastic!
Location, room and staff
We liked this hotel very much: really comfort and big room with everyday room cleaning, high speed internet and very friendly and helpful owners. Great thanks to them for a nice garden and hotel's atmosphere. I will recommend this hotel to everybody who prefer short walk to noisy beach view.

Probably good 20 years ago
Beautiful location, terrific pool, lovely garden and friendly staff.
We think this resort must have been very good 20 years ago. It's location is beautiful, right at the beach as with a beautiful garden. Even the little bungalows look very scenic in the garden. From the inside though they are old, with stains and exfoliating paint. A dripping AC, and lots of animals creeping through the sealing. The blankets had blood-like stains on them and the klamboo wasn't very protective with all the holes it had. If the owner would do a big renovation this could be one of the best resorts on phu quoc island. But for now you could better look somewhere else. Maybe it is just the way phu quoc works. We were surprised by the way the locals treat their island, if they keep littering it this way it will become one big tropical garbage dump.

horrible stay at this place
this place is a horrible place to stay, outdated and in need of an upgrade. i even heard people snoring in the room next door. i will never stay at this "resort" again and the staff were no help with changing the supplies in the room. do not stay here!!! listen to the reviews for your own sake. oh and no free bottles of water, everywhere else offers two bottles a day except them.

unclean and bugs everywhere
location
the floor and walls had many bugs. the bathroom was poorly constructed with electrical wires protruding from walls over wet areas. the palm leaf roof was extremely noisy whenever the wind was more than 5kts (which was all the time). the breakfast was minimal and staff service was poor...it was as if they had never seen a restaurant in their life. restaurant tables were never cleared on time and table cloths were dirty. this is way overpriced that i paid per night. even then, i would never stay here again. read the reviews below. many others agree with me. don't stay here.

Room filled with bugs. Health hazard.
Location
Firstly, let me say that I live in Vietnam and have travelled SE Asia a lot, so I understand the standards differences...however.. For a hotel that cost $100+ USD per night...this was a huge disappointment. The rooms had lots of insects on the floor and walls: ants, cockroaches, mosquitoes. The roof was made of palm leaves (which looks cool) however this lets in many insects and is also VERY noisy when the ocean breezes commence from 4am until 9am...impossible to sleep during this time. The bed sheets were also stained every time they were changed. btw - we had to ask for room service after two days as no-one arrived. Also, beach towels were not provided. We were expected to use our bathroom towels. Finally, breakfast was a mess. Dirty tables that staff didn't understand needed cleaning. Coffee was poor quality for Vietnam. The breakfast options were the worst I have seen since living in Vietnam over the past two years. This hotel needs new management asap. DO not stay here. There are far better options on the island for this money.

nice place for first fee days
location
Useful for a night to get your bearings. If you like a quiet resort feel stay here. If you prefer a little more life on the beach move south.
