staff was not that friendly, room could be cleanier. bonus is the location as it is in the front row and in the "center", but that comes with cons such as loudiness.

They changed us to the hotel next door. The owner wasn't nice and he got angry when we booked a tour with other company (his tour was more expensive).

Horribel - dont stay there!”
The first strange thing was that the hotel owner wanted to keep our passport until we check out (of course i didn't left it there). Then he wanted to sell us a tour through halong bay (later we saw on a facebook that his crew once stole the money of a tourist on board). He asked all the time if we will join his tour and even followed us with his motorbike!! He was so annoying and creepy! The beds were very uncomfortable and it was so loud because of the traffic - i couldn't really sleep at night. In the early morning children were knocking on our door and tried to look through the curtains in our room but i don't know if it were his children our from guests. Then they tried to charge us more money then it was on agoda. When we showed them the correct amount in usd doller and asked if we can pay in vnd they used a wrong exchange rate. We showed them the correct one in the internet but they insist on the wrong one to get more money. It was such a horribel experience - i would not even recommend it to my enemy!

Good for backpackers”
Cheap accommodation, good for backpackers with friendly staff and amazing sea view. Good location, close to Cannon Fort (10-15 min walk), the beach and also close to the best restaurant from Cat Ba, Yummly. Greetings from Romania and Slovakia.

Great location, Great service and lovely owner. Thin blankets and thin small towels but was given extra blankets as requested. Ran out of hot water but not a big deal as we only stayed one night. Overall sufficient for short stays.

Hotel sin ascensor con habitación en quinta planta. Baño muy viejo. Poco acorde al precio pagado. Para dormir y estar de paso está bien.

Khách sạn nhỏ, ở đến đêm thứ 2 thì KS không dọn phòng, không có cầu thang máy, thái độ phục vụ không nhiệt tình, hách dịch, không gây thiện cảm với khách du lịch. Tiện nghi không xứng đáng với đồng tiền bỏ ra cho đêm nghỉ dưỡng. Chúng tôi không bao giờ quay trở lại KS này và cũng khuyên bạn bè tránh xa KS có tên Trung Hoa ở Cát bà.
