Royal Garden Hotel
Tsim Sha Tsui,Tsim Sha Tsui - View on map
"service was excellent, we arrived early in the morning and they offered us an early check-in. We got the standard room, and the room itself was large and clean. The bathroom even has a TV in the bathtub. We absolutely love the roof top pool. Didn't eat here so couldn't comment on the food. Location wise,. It's a 4 mins walk from East Tsim Sha Tsui Station MTR exit. You can walk from the East TST station entry to the main Tsim Sha Tsui Station (approx. 8-10mins), or to other TST sights (e.g. Star ferry and Harbour City). "

The Royal Pacific Hotel and Towers
Tsim Sha Tsui,Tsim Sha Tsui - View on map
"This hotel's location is very near to Tsim Sha Tsui shopping heaven. Nearby there are lots of good restaurants to choose from. But it is quite far from the Jordan and Tsim Sha Tsui MRT, needs to walk about 13 mins. The hotel is very clean, staffs are helpful and nice. The hotel room is rather small compared to other 5 star hotels. This hotel is just above the pier that handles the Hong Kong to china and Macau ferries. Thus it is a good place to stay if you need to move around China and Macau. Overall this is hotel is excellent."

Imperial Hotel
Tsim Sha Tsui,Tsim Sha Tsui - View on map
"It is conveniently located between Tsim Sha Tsui and East Tsim Sha Tsui station, and about 5 mins walk to the star ferry terminal. China ferry terminal (ferry to macau) about 15 mins walk. Food is easily accessible around the area. A21 (airport coach service) stops 10m away from the hotel. If taking the airport express (hkd$100 per person, the bigger the group the lower the cost) a shuttle service is available from Kowloon station that stops on the side of Sheraton hotel. Just alight at this stop, walk to the main road (Nathan road) turn right and walk about 20-30m to reach the hotel. Hotel lobby smells of jasmine not smoke. Rooms are clean and def bigger than nearby guesthouses. Bottled water, instant coffee and tea is replenished everyday. Towels are changed everyday even if u don't leave it on the bathroom floor (like stated on a notice in the bathroom). Provides toothbrush/toothpaste, shower cap, safe, television, mini fridge. Only concern was that our room faced Chungking mansion and there was a large spotlight shining at the mansion that made the place seem like midday even when it's actually dark outside at 9pm (can be misleading unless you look at the sky). Will recommend if you don't have an extremely tight budget or want a cheaper hotel option. NOTE: no free Wifi. ( you can get a 7day 3G access from 1010 at hkd88, very fast connection)"

Marco Polo HongKong Hotel
Tsim Sha Tsui,Tsim Sha Tsui - View on map
"We always look forward to our stays at the Marco Polo Hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui. Although there are no extra frills to our bookings, they are consistent in catering to our needs every time. The rooms are always comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Best of all is its location... it is central to all the shopping that any tourist would ever need, close to all kinds of transportation, and it has great access to the Hong Kong Harbor's view. We never need to look elsewhere for a place to stay in HK."

Kimberley Hotel
Tsim Sha Tsui,Tsim Sha Tsui - View on map
"The hotel fits high level hotel standard to Indonesian hotel standard. The staffs are able to speak English fluently and are friendly to the guests. There are many convenience store (a 24-hour Wellcome shop) and restaurants (from many countries around the world) surrounding the hotel. And it's close to Mira Mall and as well as Mira Hotel, which is usually functioning as an meeting/exhibition hall. And many other shopping malls around the area, for example: Tsim Sha Tsui iSquare Mall, Harbour City Shopping Mall. To have your exercise and relaxation, you can just go to Kowloon Park which is at the other side of the road. For delicious Japanese tea products lovers (green tea, green tea cakes, and green tea ice cream), there is a Japanese tea shop in front of Mira Hotel. And although I'm not a Moslem, I'm informing Moslem travellers that it's very close to the Kowloon Mosque. It's really located in a strategic location. There are many exits of Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station close to the hotel. And you take an A21 bus from and to the Hong Kong International Airport, which bus stops are very close to the hotel. An elite area, not sound polluted area with so many crows day and night. I'm going to stay at this hotel in the future, especially if they offer me a special price like last time (around HK$580/night). Thank you, Kimberley Hotel."

"Pros: Very accessible to the MTR. You just cross the street from Chungking Mansion building and you'll get to Tsim Sha Tsui Station. Walking distance to the Avenue of the Stars, Symphony of Lights and China Ferry Terminal. The room is good enough for Asians. What you see in the picture is what you get. Clean room and bathroom. They change our sheets every 2 days. The receptionist and Amit are nice. Good wifi. There is liquid soap and shampoo in the bathroom. They provide towels, slippers, tissue, toothpaste and toothbrush. Small space but you can store your luggage under the bed. The place is safe. We were not bothered by the people selling on the ground floor of the building. Cons: The smell in the ground floor and inside the elevator. But it is tolerable."

More about Tsim Sha Tsui

At the tip of the Kowloon Peninsula, Tsim Sha Tsui is one of Hong Kong’s major commercial districts. It served by Star Ferry and China Ferry terminals, both of which connect to Hong Kong Island. Next to the ferry terminals is the massive Harbor City shopping complex.

There are many hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui, and tourists based in the area divide their time between sprawling shopping centers and museums like the Hong Kong Museum of History, the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the Museum of Art and the Space Museum. Attractions like these are in Kowloon Park along with aviaries, gardens and swimming pools.

Even historic sites in Tsim Sha Tsui have a commercial edge. The 1881 Heritage building once headquartered the marine police. Today, the Victorian structure is a museum, hotel and shopping center in one. There are just as many modern attractions on the peninsula, including the Hollywood-like Avenue of the Stars.

In the evening, tourists leave the shops and museums for late-night entertainment districts. Knutsford Terrace at the center of Tsim Sha Tsui has a great selection of affordable restaurants and bars that attracts expatriates and tourists.

Getting around Kowloon, and all of Hong Kong, is easy thanks to the MRT. The most important local exchange is Hung Hom MTR station, but there are many other stops serving hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui. Tsim Sha Tsui East is an important up-market hotels district served by its own MRT station.
