Great Lodge! Great value gor money!”
Great Value! Great Lodge in the heart of the Garden Route! Each cabin is equipped with a spa bath, so you can enjoy the comfort of your beautiful wooden cabin. It is clean, big cabins and there are plenty to do at Tsitsikamma Lodge like, hiking, braai, and Spa treatments. For a 3-star I would rather rate it a 4-star! Great standard and can highly recommend with very delicious breakfast included!

Exceptional”
This was honestly one of my favourite places to stay, they had the friendliest staff and the room is exactly what you see on the photo and it's just makes you feel like you are on vacation.

Above average”
Just felt the rooms shown on website was not as warm and welcoming. It was such a cold atmosphere, once entering the room. No information, where you can find the restaurant etc. or places to visit.

Good afternoon Cecil thank you for your review on our property I fully agree with you. Unfortunately due to COBID 19 regulations we are encouraghed nor to have any extra items in the cabins i.e. extra magazines, cishions and throws. I do apologise for that and can asure you that once we can put these items (that gives a more welcome and warm feeling in your cabin) back, we will definately do so. Kind regards Freddie du Preez General Manager

A Rose amongst the Thorns”
I have been in the hospitality industry for almost 20 years. In the last 5 of these years my family and I have traveled to many lodges, hotels, resorts, spa's and back packers enjoying life, well trying to anyways. To often, actually almost 90% of the time we are disappointed. Being Lilizela award runner ups and winners my wife and I pride ourselves on service and expect the same everywhere we go. On arriving cold wet and miserable, just the atmosphere of this hidden gem perked up our spirits. Staff were warm welcoming and although the room we booked was not available due to a hickup with maintenance issues, this was not a problem as we were upgraded to a magnificent unit. Nothing was to much to ask from this phenomenally run Lodge / resort. The food, second to non, honestly you have to eat it to believe it. Accommodation is quaint simple practical, not luxury but a home away from home. Staff were incredible. 100% recommended.

Location was rather disappointing as my lodge was next to the highway so there was alot of noise with trucks and car passing all day and night long. the lodge itself was great , stuff fantastic - Hats off to chef Titi who went out of his way to cater for halaal guest.

Really nice and cosy hotel with a great atmosphere”
The walk in the forest behind is really great and loved the funny way the lodge explains its services in its welcome note. Loved the place and would highly reccomend it to friends.

Stunning setting”
Beautiful forest setting and lovely cabin with two separate washing areas, shower and a ‘tub with a view’ from a huge window looking into the forest. Nice little sitting area in the cabin and deck outside with braai facilities. Only minor criticisms of room was slightly hard bed and very small towels. Dining experience was ok but nothing special, very good value though. Cooked to order eggs at breakfast were great. The location and setting of this resort are its strengths - there is so much to do and see in Tsisikamma and it’s natural beauty is breathtaking. The nearby village of Stormsriver is absolutely charming and a base for all sorts of outdoor activities.
