Really convenient and clean!”
The hostel is really convenient as it is close to a lot of shops, including 7-Elevens, Family Marts and Lawsons. It is near Asakusabashi station and the yellow line so it's pretty convenient to move around as well. Stayed for 2 weeks and will definitely stay again when I'm back!

Exceptional”
It is near the Asakusabashi station (Toie and JR lines). They have showers and toilet per floor. They do not have elevator but the staff helps in bringing the luggage up and down if your room is on the 2nd or 3rd floor. The room is wide enough for 4 people but depending on the number of your luggage, it will probably be too small. Near convenience store (7-11 and family mart) and restaurant. We ate tonkatsu and the likes near the JR Asakusabashi station. I think the price (¥500-700) is worth the food.

Great location, friendly and relaxing”
Pros: Close to Asaksubashi JR Rail metro station, walking distance to Akihabara, three stops to Ueno station (Great museums), kitchen is ok for cooking, showers and bathrooms good. Quiet location for sleeping. Cons: Not many.

Good budget place”
The place is located near tourist spots like Asakusa (about 10 mins away by train) and is near a number of restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets. Very good location with minimal walking to the train station. They also clean the place well, as bathrooms look immaculately clean even if many people use them. The only slight downside to this hostel is that the staff aren't very responsive, and are usually not present in the hostel. Nevertheless, it was a good stay and we were happy with the room we got.

Pleasant stay”
For place to stay it was comfortable anyway and not to far from the nearest station. For furthur improvement, i hope on messages that we write in agoda the host would reply regarding our request whether it would be possible or not. Oh, and for people who bring a heavy luggages, there's no lift available and you need to lift up your own luggages....

Very good”
The place was okay, it wasn't too far from the station and it was clean. My only problem was the walls were too thin and I could hear the people from the other rooms and they were very noisy.

Great private room option”
Excellent location near JR station if using rail pass on your trip. One stop from Akihabara. Pretty good sized room if using private option. Shared bathrooms and showers convenient and close to rooms. Excellent value for accommodation in Tokyo region.

3D2N”
3 floors, with each floor having it’s own shower, toilets, ref, microwave & dining area. Bed was hard, that’s my main complaint. Check out was a breeze since we just left our room key at the reception on the 2/F (as instructed). Walking distance to Asakusabashi Station Exit A1 (Toie Line) which, thankfully has an elevator!

easy to access”
Quite near to train n subway station. not in the very centre of city, but easy to access everywhere. but for me place need bit more comfortable, cos in nite time its very cold in public area ( maybe its still early spring ) and we need to make bedding by our selves. at least other facilities are ok n complete.

good budget hostel”
hostel is clean and 5-10mins walk to asakusabashi subway station. nearby there are 7-11, family mart, sukiya and other local restos. they provide wifi, free use of utensils, ref, thermos for hot water. self-service hostel as guests themselves fix the bedsheets. they only clean the room when you check out. room has heater, aircon, small table and clothing rack. we got the quad room at the 2nd floor, it was big enough for us though it could've been better if there was at least a small chair to sit on aside from the bed. only thing i didn't like was how flimsy the small ladder for the bunk bed is. if you're not careful when going up/down, it could result to an accident.

Above average”
We stayed in a 4 person room with two bunk beds. First, if you have a lot of luggage you will want to ask the hostel to put you on the first floor. They don’t have an elevator and it will be a pain to lug all that stuff up. I thought the location was good, close to a JR and city metro line. They have good facilities such as fridge and kitchen, but I felt that the cleanliness was questionable. The sink in the shower room looked like it was never cleaned during our entire stay. The bunk bed creaked so much that I was worried it might break when I was on the top bunk (and I am not very tall). The smoking area was right outside our window so that was a bit annoying. The staff was fine, although we only saw one person when we checked in.

Friendly Owner”
English Speaking Stuff who really help us alot when we 1st arrive Tokyo where we almost lost at the beginning to get into this Guest House. If you really lost your direction, you can contact the stuff / owner as they would step out the building and look for you. -Nearby there is 7-11 which become our breakfast and supper option daily. -Easy Access via Sobu Main Line - Asakusabashi Station -Outside of Tsubame Guest House there is a vending machine for you to purchase your warm drink especially during winter travel

Comfortable, Easy Access”
Our stay was short, but Tsubame Guest House was a nice place to stay for a few days. One of the employees speaks English fluently. Located very close to Asakusabashi Station and a convenience store. I recommend Tsubame Guest House to double check their cost on their own website when compared to the cost stated on Agoda.com, as well as removing the Food/Dining review, unless they expect it for their cooking equipment (which was adequate btw)

Good staying experience ”
Near to the subway station and convenience shop. Rooms are clean, equipped with air conditioners with heaters. Room space is sufficient. Shared bathroom and toilet but it's very clean. Staff is helpful and efficient. They will send an email to confirm your staying date. Email reply is very responsive. Our flight arrived at 10.30pm, they assigned a receptionist to wait us after their working hours. We enjoyed our staying in Tsubame Guest House. Will definitely come back here on our next Japan trip.

It was OK”
To be quite frank, Tsubame Guest House does not have the best facilities. The beds are literally just bunk beds (very shaky ones, at that) with no curtains for privacy. They provide lockers for your belongings, but I didn't use them much as it had a weird odor. The staff did not help me up the stairs, unlike the staff at the other hostels I stayed at. However, the bath rooms are very clean, and location was great. If you just need a very cheap place to stay for the night, then Tsubame Guest House should be sufficient.

Value for money”
Eyeing tsubame as one of our options, but by the time we book our accomodation, it was already full. A week before our intended stay in Tokyo, the property was already on sale so we booked it immediately. We got a private room with sofa bed for me and for a friend. Considering the price, the room is already spacious and is equipped with heater. There is a table and a clothing rack where we hang our winter coats. Everything is clean. We only stayed for 3 nights. A few minutes walk from JR station and Asakusabashi station line exit. Would definitely recommend this for a comfortable stay.

Easy access to airport, great deal for price, English speaking staff, strategic location”
Stayed for 7 nights here for a university business trip. Pros: Direct access to both airport (Haneda and Narita) via Kenkyu Line without transfer. Walking distance to Akihabara (around 8-10 minutes). Great alley of cheap foods just beside the Asakusabashi station. Nearby 7/11 and Sunkus. Helpful English-speaking staffs. Have both Subway and JR station nearby (Asakusabashi station) with direct access to Shinjuku and Akihabara. Cons: The wifi is good but can be better especially in 3rd floor. Notes to guest-to-be: They rent towels for 100 yen per stay, and sell toothbrush for 100 each. No need to bring your own padlock for locker. Not for light sleeper, expect a hostel stay. Notes to accommodation: It would be nice if you offer change of linen after 3-4 days if the guest stays for a long time.

Flexible, helpful staff and great location”
We had a late arrival in Haneda and a hard time finding a place to stay our first night in Tōkyō. The staff at Tsubame was kind enough to organize someone to stay there until we got to the guesthouse. The location is great, our room was great - we had an all around nice experience. I'll definitively consider Guesthouse Tsubame again if I travel to Tōkyō in the future. Thank you very much! :D
