    “Amazing Experience”

Firstly, the location was really convenient, in the middle of town. During our stay, a male staff who spoke English helped translate all the instructions, requests and questions. The staff all looked like they have been working at the ryokan for a really long time and are all very motherly. One of them made us tea and helped us wear the yukatas. The breakfast and dinner lady was also super friendly and attentive, teaching us how to eat the crab properly. When I left my hair tie at dinner, it was waiting for me when I got to breakfast. It was a very homely feeling and we felt very comfortable during our stay. ❤️ Don’t get us started about the food. For the price we paid we did not expect that much for dinner - crab, beef, seafood soup, sashimi, chawanmushi… we were so full after!!! The taste was also really good! We enjoyed every dish. The breakfast was also really yummy, and reminded us of home cooked food. You can feel the care that went into all the food preparation. Definitely would recommend staying here and having the dinner. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 6 out of 5 stars

“This is a ryokan in Kinosaki Onsen that I highly recommend.”

Including breakfast, the price is very satisfactory. I didn't have high expectations for the food, but everything was delicious. I'm not a fan of raw fish, but I enjoyed the sashimi here. I think the condition of the room is clean. However, since it's an older building and has tatami flooring, there tends to be some dust. There's also a heater, so it's warm and not cold, but it can get a bit dry. I woke up with a scratchy throat. Even though I went in winter and it was around 10 degrees, I didn't feel cold, but it would definitely be chilly on days when the temperature drops below zero! The location is great! However, it's a little further in from the river, so don't expect a view. But because of the nature of Kinosaki Onsen, you won't spend much time in the room anyway, so the river view feels more like a personal satisfaction than a necessity. It's centrally located in the village, so you can easily access the baths, and there's also a foot bath right in front, which is nice for relieving fatigue after wandering around. It was a pity that it didn’t snow during this Kinosaki trip! Since I want to stay longer next time when it snows, if I go to Kinosaki again, I will definitely book this accommodation again! I really recommend it.

“Comfort, Nice dinner, staff so kind.”

Second times for me to stay here. This place still give you very nice dinner with warm welcome and very kind staff. Everything perfect here. Would like to recommend who need to relax with onsen and ryokan. In April should be better due to cherry blossom blooming.

    “Nice place, perfect location”

Location is perfectly centrally located in town, but right off the main street so as quiet as can be. Nice staff, clean place, lovely.

“It was a wonderful inn with warm and kind-hearted people.”

Thank you for taking care of me during my solo trip to the hot spring area. I wanted to stay in a traditional Japanese room after a long time, and I chose this inn because it had good access from the station. The interior was beautifully renovated, as advertised. There was a free space with colorful and pop chairs next to a garden that seemed perfect for taking photos, creating a wonderful atmosphere of old and new. The walls of the room might be a bit thin, as I could slightly hear the lively voices from the neighboring room, but it wasn't bothersome, and the Japanese room was very clean. The indoor bath isn't very large, but it had a great temperature and was well-kept, making it a very clean bath where you could soak as long as you wanted. The food was luxurious, fresh, and the portions were just right, and it was very delicious. What I found most wonderful about this inn was the warmth of the staff. The receptionists and waitstaff were very polite and friendly, and the person who took care of my meals was easy to talk to. They also shared recommendations for good times to visit the public baths and how to best enjoy the food. During my visits to the public baths, I was approached by someone who introduced themselves as a staff member from the inn, who taught me how to stylishly wear a yukata. When I thanked them, they smiled warmly and sent me off. I've visited various hot spring areas, but I was truly impressed by the warm-hearted people and had a very fulfilling leisure time. I've heard that the items lined up in the hot spring town change with the seasons, so someday when I come back to see a different side of Kinosaki, I plan to stay at this inn again. Thank you for all your thoughtful care.
