“Suitable for solo traveler ”
This hostel is really suitable for solo travelers only. The capsule was spacious enough for 1 person. Plus points that the capsule has lock and can only be accessed through the keycard unlike in most hostels that only has curtain for closing the bunk bed. Everything is a common area, the pantry, even the toilet and bath area. I just wish there is a separate area for men and women. That's the only thing I'm not comfortable with as a solo female traveler. The facilities are clean overall. Check in is on a different building than the rooms itself. Around 3 mins distance from each other. Hope they would inform prior the exact location of the check in building because when I pinned on maps I was initially directed to the rooms building. Then I had to walk again to the correct building. Doing that with luggage in stow is a bit of a hassle. Other than a scheduled power interruption where there was no electricity from 12AM to 4AM, my stay was ok overall. The place was safe but I just really got paranoid when the power went out. The location is in the heart of Ximending. I good 10 to 15 minutes walk from Ximen Station. Honestly it was bearable, considering the price per night was cheap. But for me who makes the most of my day outside and already made a lot of walking all throughout the day, the walk going back to the hotel at night was really tiring HAHA it was a long walk. there are other cheap hostels nearer from the station that I may have opted for. Still, the value was good for what I paid for.
