Upon arrival reception staff greeted warmly, but the foyer smelt (cigarettes?) & the place was obviously run down. Visible bins piled high with rubbish, milky swimming pool with mouldy outdoor table & chairs. The grounds adjoin a takeaway/service centre which was convenient, but noisy traffic. Liquor store next door. Riverside location but the covered tables & chairs by the water were old & rickety & there was rubbish scattered about. There were children, possibly residents, playing noisily in the carpark until after dark. The room itself was basic but functional, clean linen. Bathrooms appear to have been recently renovated but am sure the toilet bowl has not yet been cleaned - there were stained manufacturer stickers on the outside of the toilet pan. Shower head good & pressure reasonable, hot water comes through quickly. Would spend a little more next time & stay somewhere on the other side of the river.

A great place to stay overnight...rooms are clean, recently refurbished and ticks all the boxes for an overnight stay. My only complaint is that as a very light sleeper, the swoosh of trucks passing by the property during the night was a little distracting. It is also not a great location if you want to get around on foot, as it is 4 km from Murwillumbah , but doable despite the lack of footpaths.

Very pleasant hotel, wonderful views”
Really enjoyed our stay, glad we up-graded to balcony/river view room as the view of the river and mountains was beautiful.Agoda doesn't mention tea/coffee making facilities, but the room not only has these, but also a cook-top, micro wave, cutlery/crockery and a large fridge with tiny mini bar. A continental breakfast is included in the price.While there is a liquor outlet next door, and a service station with small shop at the front, it is better to travel the 5 minutes to the town for food. We found many restaurants, but as it was a Monday,many were closed.Would stay again if back in the area.

This is a basic motel that has a nice view of the river from the dining area and garden. I had to change my second night booking and they didn't make any fuss about it and allowed me to come back on a later date to do my second night!

This was a good place to stay if you are traveling with your pet. A little out of our way but good value and no problems whatsoever. Would recommend this motel.
