Just few step to Empire State Building and close to subway station. We can reach out to attraction place by walking and no issue to get home late night. Very impress with all staffs they are very warm welcome and supportive.
Good location with technical issues”
Great location! During my stay the TV did not work very well and I had two days without one. Malfunctioning fire alarm witch was eventually removed- which could be really dangerous if there actually is a fire!
Small room and thin walls, but location can't be beat!”
The location is great for the Empire State Building area. Close to businesses, restaurants, pharmacies, coffee shops (it's surrounded by two coffee shops and even had an internal door to Starbucks). Walkable to broadway shows. Also close to the subway. Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. There are about 2.5 feet around each side of the bed (in the contemporary queen room) and the AC unit does take a portion of that on one side. But really, you're probably not planning to spend a lot of time in the room anyway when in NYC. At night sometimes you can hear the vehicle sirens outside, but this would be the case of all hotels in the area. Would stay again given the convenient location.
We were given a free upgrade but the room was still quite small, so I can't imagine how much smaller our original room would have been lol. Other than that, great location, good service and serves your basic needs.
While the room was very small, it was perfect for just myself. Very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Had a great view of the Empire State Building from the 6th floor. There was a slight issue with bathroom cleanliness when I arrived, but the staff got on it immediately and rectified the situation. That's the only reason for four stars, otherwise it would have been five. I would definitely stay there again.
PLEASE DONT STAY HERE. If you want the room like in the photo please keep in mind it’s only one room in the whole building that look like in the photo. The hotel leads to wrong impression but excuse that they are not trying to impress customers like that it’s just happened that every customers want the same room???? I was like this is a joke. So I asked staff so if it’s not fault advertisement then it’s tricky... he replies the whole New York is tricky! I mean I travelled around the world, have my own business. If it’s not too much I’m trying not to complain anything. But this is unacceptable for the money you pay for. Staff there provided the most horrible customer service I ever have to deal with. Room was very tiny but I understand because it’s the size I kindly expect as it’s located in the heart of New York. Don’t waste your money there.
Paying for location ”
Service and facilities are sucks, there is no place in the room for hanging cloth or iron cloth, the management team seems to be Asia with very bad attitude. The location is really good, but won’t be back for sure.
Friendly staff and great location.”
We only had a couple of nights in Manhattan, so a good location was essential. With a view of the Empire State Building from the room, it's safe to say it ticked all the location boxes. All the staff were very friendly and we were able to check in early. The room was spotlessly clean with very efficient air conditioning. A great stay and we would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel, or indeed rebooking for ourselves for future visits.
The room was tiny with nowhere to unpack, but it was very clean. Other than a great location, I thought the staff reflected a world class standard of excellence -- with a natural friendliness and helpfulness that makes any hotel stay more enjoyable and trip easier to navigate.
Okay for NY”
Very small room but since it’s Manhattan I don’t expect huge rooms to begin with. Room was clean and everything seemed new. TV had problems connecting with cable box. No safe or fridge in room and surprisingly no toothbrush provided. Bathroom door couldn’t close properly because the bathroom was so small it kept hitting the sink. Otherwise great location, short walk from multiple subway stops and great views of Empire State Building. Staff was okay. Okay price for a NY hotel
Excellent Location Location Location!”
Probably the best part of the hotel - the rest were rather basic. But the location trumps everything!
Great place to stay for visiting NY”
We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The price was great for NY, and the room was nice and clean.
Great location, great staff ”
The hotel was recently renovated and renamed from "373 hotel". Overall, the facilities are new and clean, staff are pretty friendly, willing to provide help when needed. The location is right on 35th St & 5th ave, which got a pretty convenient neighborhood for some late night shopping (there's a Walgreens around the corner, and a Starbucks downstairs), 10 mins walk to the nearest subway station, which wasn't too bad. For the price, it's of better value comparing to Time's Sq area. The biggest problem (and probably is the most critical one) I found with this hotel is noise. The window is thin, can hear the car horn, engine sound starting 5am (as 5th is always busy). And the door is paper thin that I can hear every whisper of people walking by my door - even at 3am . I would still recommend this hotel if you're a budget traveler - but the noise issue is somehow annoying I hope they will be able to improve it.
nice hotel, good location, nice stuff, I love it!”
it was good experience. it is next to empire state building and just few blocks to go to new york library and new york train station, and time square. save a lot of time! I love this hotel, will stay it again !
Very disappointing really. I sent 2 emails requesting quiet room and never responded to my emails and received confirmation of booking like any other hotels. I had to call them to confirm my booking and the most annoying thing after 2 emails requesting a quiet room they gave me a room that completely opposite of my request. The room right was facing fifth avenue, between traffics noise, Saturday night outing from local people, noisy neighbour and noisy air con completely lost my sleep for 3 nights I was there. I asked front desk staff not helpful, didn't seems to care about your problems. Room was too small like any other hotel rooms in NY and misleading photos. My niece came and saw the room she was surprised. From the pictures they look bigger but in reality they are small.
Great location, no hidden fees room was small but just a pit stop for us. Comfortable walks both Central Park and downtown.
The room was really small and there's no space to walk if you have a big luggage. Other than that, the location is really great (very convenient) and the staff and service was excellent.
Good location ”
Good location but it is noisy. Some workers will start doing construction job at 5 am...otherwise it is good
Compact but in good location”
Right next to Empire State Building, close to 34th St Subway. Small rooms but in good value.
simple cozy compact”
another great stay with 373. recommended!
