Good location, beautiful rooms, scary stairs”
You really can't tell from the outside, but it's a very cute and quaint little hotel, and from the top floor rooms the view from both your bed and your balcony is nothing short of fantastic. The room we stayed in was really beautiful, which is a description I've never used about any hotel room before. Someone put a lot of love into furnishing and decorating. There is no elevator, and the staircase to the topmost floor consists of the tallest steps I've ever encountered. You'll find yourself taking extra care, especially when going down, and for the first time in my life I called down to get help to carry my luggage. Both floors and stairs are wooden, and to keep noise to a minimum, shoes are kept in small room-numbered drawers in the reception. If I remember correctly, children under 12 aren't allowed to stay on the upper floors for the same reason. The AC was either a bit tired or underpowered, so the temperature stayed well above 24 C until well after we fell asleep. Only stayed here one night but will definitely pick the same place next time around!

Beautiful hotel”
We stayed here for one night before heading to Koh Lanta and it was perfect. The decor in the hotel is lively. Lots of attention to detail and special little features. Lovely view if the river from the third floor. Staff were very helpful. The location is great because it's five minutes from bars and restaurants, but not noisy.

Good location.”
Tasteful decor and central location. Placement of the bed in the room cuts the space in half making access to the balcony a little tricky. Could be improved by re-arranging the furniture.

Interesting and good boutique hotel ”
Stayed here for one night , location is near town centre and street market and easy to krabi town bus stop to access ao nang. Nearby enough to several l bars and restaurants and convenience stores. We enjoyed the colonial design and old school visuals , they used old style copper shower tubes and China bowl was machine aswell as rustique curtain laden wooden bed which we though was very interesting . The stairwell and hall was also pretty interesting . Recommended and good vale a bit different from your usual bed and breakfast

Great for a quick stop-over”
We paid 300 baht (about 10 euro) to get to this hotel, by taxi, from Krabi airport. Hotel is on a main street on the opposite side of the road to a river, not the most attractive river and a bit smelly in some areas due to the tide, but this did not affect us in the hotel at all. Hotel is very clean, you have to take your shoes off before entering (as you will have to do in most establishments in Thailand) and you get designated a "shoe drawer" so you can leave your shoes in reception quite safely. Nobody spoke English in reception, but we had the Agoda booking reference number to hand and check in went smoothly. The extra bed that I thought I had booked for our 4 yr old son was not set up, but they quickly sorted this out. We had to pay a 500 baht deposit for the room key, which was refunded when we left. Decor lovely throughout. I thought it was very Mediterranean in style with Thai touches. Our room was on the 2nd floor, very steep spiral staircase but our son managed fine and the hotel lads bought our bags up for us - definitely worth a tip. Wifi not very good in room, may have been better downstairs in reception. We did not turn on TV, so cannot comment. 2 small complimentary bottles of water in room. Nice large double bed with good linen. Lots of furniture in room which made it a bit crowded, but still space to move around. No breakfast room just a few table and chairs set up with a bar area next to the reception - a bit odd to be eating brekky whilst others are kicking shoes off and arriving or leaving, but I guess they had to maximize the space available. Disappointing breakfast, I don't remember getting a choice but we had scrambled eggs which came with chopped tomatoes and red and green peppers - they were ok, but the rest was all processed food from the frankfurter to the orange juice, toast, jam and coffee - I expected fresh produce. The "waiters" all look like they're about 16 and had the same vacant look, as if it was their first day at work. I
