Next Ubud Monkey Sanctuary ”
Lovely spot, great Ubud location, great restraunt, helpful staff. Worth the upgrade to the pool view room in my opinion, tried both rooms on our 3 night stay, both are good rooms but can't beat the quieter view of pool and surrounding area behind. Beware of monkeys on the grounds in the early morning, but if you respect the monkeys they leave you be.

The location is great. In the middle of the centre and near Monkey forest. We spend time in the restaurant watching the monkeys. Our four year old daughter loved it. Also the fishes. The breakfast was fab! The pool refreshing. Perfect place to stay in Ubud.

Culture. / Comfort / Quiet”
Think Italy with an Asian twist and you have UBud.. The Tropical Garden’s location is perfect for strolls along a winding street with shops selling a variety of wares.. There are also several restaurants nearby with some of the best food I’ve ever eaten, although once I discovered the great staff and food at the Tropical View I ate all my meals there. The hotel has motorcycles for rent, which I used for 2 days to do a little exploring and found the drivers to be courteous and felt safe meandering around to see some of the local culture. You can also book tours for any activities or sites you want to see with a hired driver. Monkey Forest is next door.The hotel itself is excellent value. Staff are friendly and sincerely appreciative of your business . The rooms, although not fancy are nice and immaculate.. and yup plenty of hot water. My room was on the street and I found traffic basically stopped around 9:30 or 10:00. The pool is small but clean and a refreshing treat. Kudos!

Rice paddy fields, location & price, love it!”
Initially I booked for two nights, then I extended my stays until 5 nights because the hotel offers the tranquility that I'm looking for. Rice paddy field, swimming pool (though the sunbed needs to be fixed), good AC. I stayed at superior room Hanuman with balcony facing the frangipani tree. The room was a bit old, no bathtub, has less connection to WiFi & the shower flow was too slow. But I got visited by cute monkeys every morning on my balcony. Make sure you close the door/window as they are fast in grabbing your food. Then I stayed in the superior room Anjani which is more new, with bathtub and good flow of shower, good internet connection, balcony facing the Monkey Forest street but no noise at all and visited by monkeys too. Love my stays here and will definitely come again!

Best place for a little family”
The monkeys were quite scary. Yes, they are so cute but watch out when they are hungry, especially at noontime. I got one monkey who tried to open my door to get into my room. He also managed to open my son's water bottle and took some water from it. It was scary but also funny. We laughed so hard. All in all, if you want to relax, enjoy the scenery, and see the monkeys while being so cheap, then this is the place!

Lovely Stay”
Great hotel. Lovely rooms and staff. Great breakfast with many options. Right next to the Monkey forest we could walk everywhere and enjoyed a massage most nights from the spa next door. The wifi in our room only worked the first night but the restaurant wifi worked. Would stay again.

Lovely place and great value in the centre of Ubud”
The best place to relax. The location is near to The Monkey Forest and there are some great cafes and restaurants nearby, as well some message place. The room is comfy and clean, but I think more lights is needed. The pool is situated beside rice paddy fields and it is very peaceful. The staffs are friendly and helpful.

Good in overall”
The room and bathroom was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. If you would like to enter the Monkey Forest, this hotel was perfect because it was only 2 minutes walk from hotel. The only "flaw" of this hotel, due to it was near monkey forest, the monkey always "visit" the hotel but the hotel staff was responsive chase it away.

Great location, could walk to several wonderful cafes, the Yoga Barn, Monkey Forest, lots of shops. Loved their relaxing swimming, pool, we had a comfortable room facing the pool, there are rooms facing the road which would have noise from traffic.
