"I booked into Bhuwana Ubud Hotel for a one week stay with a friend. I was supposed to be going to a different hotel the following week when my husband arrived but ended up cancelling that hotel and extending my time at Bhuwana - it was just that good. The team of staff is amazing, so helpful and friendly - nothing is too much trouble. My friend got sick the day before she was due to leave so one of the staff members drove me around to various pharmacies until we found something for her sickness. The garden setting is absolutely gorgeous, so green and well kept. They also spray the whole grounds to get rid of mosquitoes, which is great. They have a free shuttle that runs every two hours but it is super cheap to get taxis if you need to go into the main part of town outside of those hours, or you can eveen walk. We walked back from town a few nights and it took probably 25 minutes at an easy stroll. Rooms are big and clean - beds are big and really comfy, bathrooms are clean and modern and the pool is a good size and has plenty of sun lounges. Oh, and a bar in the pool, which was pretty sweet!"

"Excellent, good value accommodation in Ubud. Just a few minutes walk to: Hubud entrepreneur hub, huge Coco grocery store, restaurants, Monkey Forest, boutique shopping.. I really like this part of town, and I would stay here again! The staff are very friendly, relaxed and helpful. The pancake breakfast is excellent and will keep you full all morning! Only issue I had was the wifi Internet was a bit unreliable, but this is not uncommon in many accommodation options in Bali, and the room nearest the street had some street and music noise, but the room is priced accordingly and is excellent value (the rooms further in from the street are much quieter but a little more pricey.) Overall this place is excellent value! TIP: The hotel next door will let you use their swimming pool facilities all day for a very reasonable price! So if you're hot you can walk next door and be lazy by the pool :) Thank you for having me stay at your hotel in Ubud village!"

"I had to switch hotels in Ubud as my previous hotel was simply disgusting. I went to check the room at SenS hotel before I change hotels and they were fantastic. Benny in particular was brilliant, he picked me up from my other hotel for free and helped arranging tours for me. The room was very clean and all facilities were moderen. The location is very good and it's away from the noise of Ubud. I would defiantly go back again and recommend SenS to other people. It's an example of excellent customer service! "

"The hotel had only been open about two months so it was beautifully clean and new. The room was perfect - everything worked and was clean and it had a nice rice field view. The room may have been small for two people with big suitcases, though it was fine for me. The best part is the rooftop pool which overlooks all of Ubud and surrounds. Great place to watch the sunset! Hotel is close to the Monkey Forest (5 mins walk), Yoga Barn and Perama bus stop, but fairly far from the restaurants and bars that are open later, but you can still walk home in the dark without too many dramas. My major issue with the hotel was just that it felt like a business hotel and I could have been in any city in the world. Usually when I stay in Ubud I want to feel like I'm in Bali - surrounded by bungalows and beautiful gardens. This hotel definitely doesn't have a Bali feel to it!"

"I loved staying here. The grounds are really nice with a beautiful pool looking into the jungle. The staff were very friendly and helpful! I is exceptionally clean and the shared bathrooms are good. I will definitely come back! Other things to note: it is a bit far from Ubud centre so best if you can rent a scooter otherwise it is a longish walk (you can look on google maps). The breakfast is just simple toast with jam and Bali coffee so don’t expect anything fancy. The dorm beds are comfortable but quite small and not too much room to put your stuff. The staff, however, were helpful with carrying and storing your stuff. There are lockers and good security in the rooms too. "
