"Fantastic new hotel , for total relaxation and getting away from it all , do your self a favour and stay here . The rooms are lovely with all the comforts . The staff were excellent and the food was top quality at a very reasonable price . There were hourly shuttles to the centre of Ubud but there is no need to leave this magical resort .....do yourself a favour and book at least 2 nights ( you will want to extend .......) They are still building some new rooms and spa on a lower level but at no time did we hear this and they will be finished by end of the year . Having stayed at some of the top hotels in Ubud , Udihiana is set to become one of those hotels you will just keep wanting to come back to for total relaxation! Can't wait to visit again ! "

"We are very satisfied with our stay in Chapung. The resort is newly built (can see some unfinishing projects), the staff are very friendly (need more training though), the management is very responsive. They strive to make clients happy during their stay. We arrived and found that that there were no Hair Dryer, Microwave, Coffee Maker which were listed as features at Agoda, reported to the staff. The GM of the resort responded very quickly and sent to our villa the next day. One thing I was a bit disappointed is that on our first day, after the swiming when my wife tried to take a shower, only then found out there was no running hot water. She had to shower with cold water. Then I called (with my cell, the hotel phone didn't work, got fixed the next day) the frontdesk. They were responsive and sent a technician to check. The reason was the staff forgot to turn on the hot water heater! The resort only has a handful villas, we were in a one bedroom villa. Every villa has a private pool. The pool is relatively big (about 3.5 x 9 m2). The resort locates in the middle of a rice field and faces a small valley. Very good view. They can serve breadfast and Lunch/Dinner within the villa, or in an open pavilion, which is facing the valley. Got to do at least once there. The choice of breakfast is limited (American breakfast). Didn't try their A La Carte menu for lunch/dinner. Not far from Ubud center, 10-15min drive. Not so easy to find, there are no sign of the resort from any major road. We made a detour on our arrival and at least spent 40+ min to find the hotel. Once you know the route, it's pretty easy to go to and back from the Ubud center. Lots of good restaurants around Ubud center. The resort offers free shuttle coupon (up to rp100,000) to the guest. One coupon per day. If you don't rent car, you can use their shuttle service to get around. I would like to choose Chapung again in the future and recommend to my friends."

"This was by far my favourite property in Bali! The staff went out of their way to make my stay special. There is a complimentary shuttle into the center of Ubud which is so convenient. The breakfast spread was delicious, a mix of local and Western. Pool is a good size. I actually cancelled other accommodation at a 2nd hotel in Ubud to stay an extra week here it was that good! If you want relaxing then this is the best choice you could make + Ubud hustle + bustle is literally a 10+- min drive away! "

"It was my birthday trip to Bali. I was traveling with my friend. This trip was our first visit to Bali. We booked for one night because we were not sure if the location is far from Ubud city. The location is quite far from Ubud city but the hotel has got a shuttle service to Ubud city, 3 times a day. Or you can rent the bike or Grab if you don't ride a bike. If you have breakfast included, I can say it's worth to pay a little more to have breakfast there. Their breakfast is served until 11 o'clock. They can serve you in your room, which is very convenient for you if you don't want to go to the restaurant. The restaurant is next to a swimming pool and is surrounded by the woods, so you can enjoy the scenery while you are having breakfast. The staff are helpful with the information about tourist places. What impressed me the most was that they surprised me with the b'day cake while I was having breakfast. I didn't even expect to have it as my b'day would be the next day."

"We recently stayed in Bidadari Private Villas with our 2 kids (9 yrs & 12 yrs) and had a wonderful time. Although we had booked the 2 bedroom villa, there had apparently been a glitch with the booking, and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to the 4 bedroom villa. This was spectacular and the kids were thrilled as they were able to have their very own bedrooms. Most Villas, when doing this, close off/lockup the rooms that haven't been booked, but Bidadari saw we had 2 older kids when checking in and offered them a bedroom each. The views were spectacular! Each of the 3 bedrooms had sweeping views of the rainforest and valley. The main area - lounge and kitchen also had these amazing views. The place is about 10 min drive out of Ubud, which is why it was so quiet & peaceful. The fabulous thing with this too, is that there is a complimentary driver service to take you into Ubud at any time throughout your stay. The staff at reception give you a mobile phone when you check in, to keep for your stay, and you just ring them wherever you are in Ubud, and they organise a driver to collect you. We used this service each day, and in the evening when we went out for dinner. We had 3 nights at Bidadari, after a stay in Seminyak, and it was perfect. If you're after a bit of peace and serenity with stunning, picturesque views during your Bali stay, then I highly recommend Bidadari Private Villas. One thing to note - there is no restaurant or bar here. Breakfast is served in the room each morning. If you don't want to venture out into town, there is also room service."

"I have been traveling throughout counties around the world, and Champlung Sari Hotel has been one of my most memorable hotels. The rooms are nice and spacious, and the staff is very accommodating. The appearance inside has a jungle temple feel to it, making the hotel itself feel like one of the many sights Ubud has to offer. The staff puts a lot of effort into the gardening and appearance of the hotel. One thing that sets Champlung Sari apart from every other hotel in Ubud is the location. It is across the street from the Monkey Forest, which means it also has many furry guests. You can sit and relax by the infinity pool, while watching baby monkeys wrestle and play just feet in front of you. Monkeys are literally everywhere around the two pool decks. They generally mind their own business and are not aggressive. If you have food or beverages out, they may however try to sneak up and grab it. The hotel has staff working around the clock that will chase the monkeys away if you ask them to. If you are traveling to Ubud, you will definitely not regret your decision if you book your stay at Champlung Sari Hotel."

"With such a good range of quality hotels in Ubud finding Alaya was a bit of a coincidence - and therefore a very positive surprise. We were mostly impressed by the overall consistent and good quality throughout our stay. Everything was well implemented: overall service, room, breakfast, hotel public areas, room amenities and furnishing - stony bathtub in the middle of the room was a nice touch, and the view from the balcony was super. We would definitely go back to Alaya and would warmly recommend the hotel to everyone looking for a quality experience at a reasonable cost. The way the hotel is located requires a bit of an effort to get everywhere though: 5-10 minutes to the Monkey Forest, 20 to the Ubud centre but at least you get to see a lot."

"Because The Anumana Ubud Hotel still new, opening in Mei 2015 so it's inevitable that there's still a sound for finishing, but it’s not to bother for me. Overall I like to stay at The Anumana Ubud Hotel, it’s so relaxing, clean, comfortable and amazing so I would like to go back again. All the staff very friendly and so welcome to us, they always ask about their service. The hotel are located in walking distance to Bebek Bengil Restaurant and Monkey Forest. We stay for 3 nights (with 3 kind different rooms, Superior Lagoon View, Deluxe Lagoon View, Superior Lagoon Access) at The Anumana Ubud Hotel. The room ambience is so calmy and is big enough for me, but the shower it's a bit tricky, first at Superior Lagoon View the water sinkhole not so smooth to absorb the water so I have to take it off the cover, and the shower at Deluxe Lagoon View, the soap, shampoo all places in pot at the washing stand so it's a bit troublesome to use them. Love the lazily couch in balcony at Deluxe Lagoon View. But what I like the most are Superior Lagoon Access, it's in Ground floor with acces (stair) directly to the pool. Love the pool, the water and the design. My disappointment are the picture in TV not to good (maybe because the signal reception not so good) and the channel is to short. And the breakfast, because The Anumana Ubud Hotel still new so there's no Buffet, and they gave us breakfast menu but we can only order it once after that they will charges your order. "
