"Very intimate location about 20 minute walk from Ubud centre. Its nice staying a bit removed from town as feels very tropical and secluded. two beautiful pools nestled with the complex. Rooms beautifully ornate with very cosy beds, staff do turndowns as well as daily cleans of rooms. breakfast options from set courses are great healthy and offer variety. Staff very welcoming, genuine feeling they care which i can feel like a relief away from tauts in Ubud. 100% recommend especially for couples and those with small families"

"I booked into Bhuwana Ubud Hotel for a one week stay with a friend. I was supposed to be going to a different hotel the following week when my husband arrived but ended up cancelling that hotel and extending my time at Bhuwana - it was just that good. The team of staff is amazing, so helpful and friendly - nothing is too much trouble. My friend got sick the day before she was due to leave so one of the staff members drove me around to various pharmacies until we found something for her sickness. The garden setting is absolutely gorgeous, so green and well kept. They also spray the whole grounds to get rid of mosquitoes, which is great. They have a free shuttle that runs every two hours but it is super cheap to get taxis if you need to go into the main part of town outside of those hours, or you can eveen walk. We walked back from town a few nights and it took probably 25 minutes at an easy stroll. Rooms are big and clean - beds are big and really comfy, bathrooms are clean and modern and the pool is a good size and has plenty of sun lounges. Oh, and a bar in the pool, which was pretty sweet!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Garcia Ubud. The location itself is pretty secluded, if you guys are looking for a tranquility and quiet place, this is definitely the place unless you want something closer to the city center of ubud. The staff at the Garcia was very attentive and helpful and extremely friendly to support our needs and request, they definitely served us up and beyond. The room we stayed is a private villa with personal pool and the view itself was direct to the Paddy's Field. Love it ! I would definitely recommend you guys if you guys interested in staying at the Garcia Ubud. You won't regret it. And i'll definitely will be back here if i got the chances to go back to Ubud."

"The hotel had only been open about two months so it was beautifully clean and new. The room was perfect - everything worked and was clean and it had a nice rice field view. The room may have been small for two people with big suitcases, though it was fine for me. The best part is the rooftop pool which overlooks all of Ubud and surrounds. Great place to watch the sunset! Hotel is close to the Monkey Forest (5 mins walk), Yoga Barn and Perama bus stop, but fairly far from the restaurants and bars that are open later, but you can still walk home in the dark without too many dramas. My major issue with the hotel was just that it felt like a business hotel and I could have been in any city in the world. Usually when I stay in Ubud I want to feel like I'm in Bali - surrounded by bungalows and beautiful gardens. This hotel definitely doesn't have a Bali feel to it!"

"An Excellent Hostel. located near to the central Ubud. very clean, comfortable & Hygienic. The open shower concept will melt your heart and you might end up taking 4times shower in a day. Upon arrival, Jerry, The warden of the hostel will give you a warm welcome. He makes your trip more interesting with his advices & tips about the city ,supermarket ,shops, restaurants, bars which are within walking distance. Rental bikes and including different hiking and rafting packages are available. Though it's near to the central market. Inside, it's a complete different experience. surrounded in greenery with a spectacular view. The rustling nature ripple with birds chattering, a river stream whooshing under your feet keeps whispering into your ears and The gentle touch of breeze will heal your soul. As everyone relaxed, the conversation really starts to flow. Strangers will soon become friends. A true gem for all peace & nature lovers. free breakfast & books to read, plenty of optional board games to play and yes! beer is available in house and most importantly very friendly and humble people. If that's not enough, you have the option of a mini shuttle bus to the airport for just 60,000IDR. It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you again, jerry for going just that little step extra for the guests!! "

"Location is a 20 min walk to Ubud Centre. 5 min by motorbike. Rooms are clean, large, and extremely cozy with great decor. Right across the street from The Elephant restaurant and multiple other places to eat. Large supermarket (Bintang) just 2-3 min walk making grabbing anything we needed a breeze. There is a fridge and a water boiler, we bought ramen and water bottles from Bintang for whenever we were hungry at off hours. Breakfast in the morning is delicious! 3 choices available. We thought we’d get bored of breakfast but each option is made very well, we looked forward to it to start our day. The staff is great and efficient in maintaining the hotel, they were always cleaning. Garage area to store motorbikes. Pool is just the right size with views of the jungle. The provided pool towels are large and soft. We stayed in the room with an outdoor shower which was so neat! I originally thought we wouldn’t use it regularly but we showered there everyday! A great choice in ubud."

"I was unsure what to expect due to the wonderfully priced rooms ($48/night during the time of my booking). I read MANY reviews from multiple resources with positice reviews & you should rest aaaures that they are all accurate. The room was spotless every time we returned from an outting. Free shuttling from the hotel to Ubud center occurs at 11AM And 9PM. Other transport is 50k IDR which is very reasonable and they are always timely. We did walk from Ubud to the hotel one day and it was quite a freckle (>2miles) which i would say is perhaps the only downfall if you are looking to spend the majority of time in the city center"

Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel at home and welcome. They’ll knock on your door to check you liked your room. I’ll definitely go back!"

"I will definitely stay at Lili House again when I return to Ubud. From the first moment I arrived (at 2am!), Wayan greeted me like family and took care of my every need. Seriously, I got an allergic rash on my legs and one of the girls helped put calamine lotion on them! They bend over backwards to help you. My room was nice and big with a comfy bed and beautiful porch with sofa where they serve you breakfast. You can choose things like banana or pineapple pancakes (crepes, actually) or omelettes with fresh juice (I liked the watermelon--so good!), which you order the night before. The location is right near the Monkey Forest (if you're into that sort of thing) and a five minute walk from Yoga Barn, which is fantastic. Also, make sure to try Taco Casa across the street--fantastic steak tacos. There are so many great restaurants and lots of shopping, especially for really nice yoga clothing. A bit far from Ubud Market, but there's so much shopping nearby I wasn't worried, and you can always take a short taxi ride to the market. Lili House is very well-kept and a little off the road (100meters) which is actually good because it's quieter. Saw a few geckos in the room, but hey--you're gonna get that anywhere in Ubud. It's the jungle! Definitely a value for the money. "

"I would STRONGLY recommend this hotel to anyone that plan a trip to ubud. hotel was very big with great surrounding! all the customer will be greeted with welcome drink and drive to room with their buggy as hotel compound is big and require a 5-7 minutes to room. room is spacious and cooling even though you back hotel at 12pm. this hotel is exceeded my expectation hence we have change the plan to have more time spent at hotel by utilising their facilities. hotel has 2 swimming pools with great paddy field view. overall, an excellent stay and definitely will come back!"
