Best place in Udon thani.”
Nice place, best service. They offer us transport to Red Lotus Lake, and also to the airport. Very kindly and usefull place near train and bus Station. We needed a place to leave our big baggage and they let us a secure place during our travel to Laos. I recommend to book with them, sure you will enjoy. Thank you so much!! There are coffe service free and bottles water in the room.

Not bad ”
For a really cheap hotel this place is ok. It wasn't perfectly clean but for the price I'm not complaining. The bed was comfy, the location is good with plenty of food nearby and the nightlife and night markets a 10 minute walk. The staff are nice, there's free coffee and the wifi is good. Also a belcony is handy.

On the outside it looks drab and uninspiring. On the inside, the rooms are fine and you can pick up a nice cold (large) Change ot Leo can for just 55 baat and that is as cheap as 7/11!

excellent low budget hotel”
Udon Mansion is an excellent low budget hotel and I have rated it accordingly ... NOTE: there is a ฿300 key deposit required so make sure you have the money to avoid this unadvertised hassle ... the hotel has 5 floors with an elevator ... the rooms are large and are cleaned daily with two bottles of water provided daily ... the double bed mattress in my room was very firm ... there is a small shop of sorts near the reception area on the ground floor and there are coin operated washing machines at the front of the hotel ... the wifi is the best of any Thai hotel so far ... its a short walk to railway station, Central Plaza, UD Night Market and Bus Station with a Tesco Lotus shop just up the street and a 7 Eleven around the corner opposite the university ... this is one of the better Thai budget hotels that I have stayed at

Fantastic value stopover ”
If you just want somewhere to stay this must be one of the best value places in Thailand. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and clean. They provided everything they could for a small hotel such ad hot drinks and snacks in the lobby. The location is great for town and the airport. I will certainly come here again next time I stop over in Udon Thani.

Hard to find but great value and central location”
Rooms are adequate, price is great, amenities work, staff are helpful (English is limited), Some of the beds are very hard so you should request a soft bed. You may have to choose a room yourself and check the beds first. A little hard to find, it is located on a small back street, but only a couple of minutes walk from the main road, Bus station 1. Ten minutes walk to Aek Udon Hospital.

Good location”
A good budget place. Clean rooms with very fast WiFi in all rooms. The location is not far from the bus stand and the railway station. In a side road opposite the university many food stalls, restaurants, email and copy shops are provided. The place of my choice in Udon Thani for a second time after comming back from Laos.

Location is far”
Location far from udon thani centre. Walking almost 25minits. And no tuk tuk in that area unless u took tuk tuk from centre going to the hotel. Almost many tuk tuk did not know hotel location. Price is good but location factors will make you think twice. 1 way for tuk2 from central plaza to hotel os 30baht. Staying here in jun 2016.

Great Value budget stay”
This is not a holiday place but can't be beaten for value if you just want somewhere to stay. It is only 12 minutes walk from Central and has amazing parking facilities. There is complimentary tea/coffee in the lobby and the staff are always helpful. I always stay here when passing through Udon.

Good expat short stay place”
My trip was for business I needed to do in Udon. As a long time expat I am used to a Thai native style hotel and this sums up this place perfectly. For a short, cheap, no frills stays this place is fine. When I need to return to Udon on business I will stay here again.

Great hotel, great value, helpful staff”
Despite that I came late to the hotel, the staff in-duty did his best to check me in. All went fine. I must say that for the reasonable price, the room were clean, the AC very efficient, the staff very friendly. The owner himself helped me to find my way for my morning appointment. I will definitely come back to Padi Madi in my next trip to BKK.

Watch out for the manager”
To make long story shot, everyone was friendly and helpfull. Cheapest place i know in Udon. But one bad egg made my stay bad. A manager, a small lady with additude promised to bring me to loas for visa and ended up leaving me and another american at the Thai border and went shopping in Loas. She told the people there not to give us permit to cross bridge cause she didnt want to wait. Also i and friend paid 600 baht, when she told me she only wanted 300. Bad lady, money hungry, bossy. Stay away from her. Now i am out 300 baht and still have no visa.

This is an apartment. Locals and students rent the apartments for long term. Nevertheless a nice place to stay in Udon, you get the Thai way of living because there are too many restaurants and local bars outside the hotel.

Best value I've had. ”
It's a big older Hotel for mainly locals but the rooms and bathrooms are very big with a balcony. £6 a night must be best deal around. There's local shops and cafes on the street. The landlady was very helpful and even drove me to the airport.

Conventient ocation, super cheap, not luxurious but hey, what do you expect for such a low price. Staff doesn't speak much English. One block away from a college campus.

The room was spacious and the price was quite affordable :) Basic amenities were provided in the room. There are some stalls nearby for food. The guesthouse is located about a few hundred metres from Central Plaza and UD town.
