Where to stay in Udon Thani City Center
Udon Thani City Center hotels & accommodations

We have stayed at the Brown House a few times now and keep coming back due to it's overall value. Prior to finding the Brown House, we have stayed in many of the hotels in Udon Thani city center. While not in downtown, it is a short Tuk Tuk drive away. We like the fact it is a bit further away because of the lack of noise. With what we believe is the best hotel poo...

Love everything about this boutique hotel. Great location in central city. Stayed with my wife, which we live in Northen Thailand and frequently stay in Udon Thani. This is our choice of hotels to stay in Udon Thani for many reasons. I'm American and my wife is Thai and can both find great selections of international cuisine. We are always looking forward to coming ba...

The hotel is very nice, I've stayed here several times. It is located next to Nong Prajak, a lake in one of the centers of Udon Thani (the other main center would be by the train station). The hotel is walking distance (across the lake) from Udon Thani museum, the city god temple, and (being Thailand) of course some street food and massage. Plenty of parking behind ...

Our family lives in Khon Kaen, Thailand now, but for six years we lived in Udon Thani. We enjoy traveling back to see friends, go shopping, and to attend UTBC events. Whenever we travel there we stay at the B2 Udon Thani Boutique and Budget Hotel. The price is amazing for what you get. We love the presidential suite in which our daughters can have their own room,...

Professional staffs, Clean, new rooms, location, price. I think they have 2 branches in Udon Thani and the other one is even better. I though the price was too cheap but when i looked closely to udon thani hotels are usually in a good condition with a very good price. Hope asian people dont make the price go up again because i think udon thani is famous for western ...

I like this hotel in Udon Thani and have stayed here on a number occasions in the past. Good place to stay if you have a car as it is a little away from the central area of the city. However, for my needs, the hotel is ideal, due to its quiet location, and large carpark. Plus I like the charming central garden. The staff are always helpful. The bedroom is a good size, w...

Being a young a family it was important to stay at a hotel that was clean, friendly and fun and this hotel ticked all the boxes. Staff and security were super friendly and helpful, we really felt happy and comfortable at this location. The hotel rooms were very large, modern and clean. I've never stayed at hotel at this price with such a large, clean and organized ho...

From the moment we were driven into the hotel entrance, we could sense something special about this hotel in Udon Thani. The check in staff were very efficient and helpful, and the bell captain and his staff were fabulous. The room was very well appointed and had a good sized bathroom, seating, and a comfortable bed. There was ample hanging space and a security safe wit...

One of the nicest hotels that I have stayed in especially as it is a small independant. The room and bathroom are finished off and decorated beautifully and the bed and bedding is so comfy you dont want to get up in the morning. Excellent breakfast and what they have done with the roofspace is incredible, a lovely swimming pool complete with safe kiddies area, and the ...

The hotel seemed to be newly built, so facilities and furnishings are all brand new. It is definitely one of the most value-for-money hotel in Udon Thani, comes with breakfast as well. However, the downside is that this hotel is located away from the bustling side of the city and you definitely need to have your own transport to get to places as there wasn't any sign o...

My wife and I stayed 2 nights and found the hotel centrally located and quite easy to find. There was plenty of parking space and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is new only 6 months old. There is not a pool or gym but a good restaurant. The menu is Thai not Western but the quality of the food was excellent and good value. The breakfast is adequate and well set ...

I booked this hotel for 2 rooms for 2 nights. The hotel is new and clean. There is free coffee/tea in the lobby. I got my rooms on the first floor of the hotel but I couldn't sleep well for a night due to very lound noise of some terrible guests wating and playing in front of the elevator around 2 am without any staff stopping them. It's such a nightmare ever. I was tr...

This place has met above my expectation for the price I booked at. Clean beds and facilities, with helpful staffs. Location is walkable to the central plaza (around10-15mins) with some restaurants on the way. Only minor flaw is that common area is not air conditioned and is in only space, though I guess it makes it more environmental friendly. All in all, would stay a...

THE LAKE UDON ! Remember this name when you visit as this is the best hotel in Udon Thani! For me, best means the right balance between quality and price. And, for Udon Thani, this is the best! The hotel has just been totally renovated, and everything is brand new. After one night at the Lake, I knew I would be a regular customer from now on. Starting from the lob...

Yup, this is my home in Udon Thani. While, yes, there are other cheaper options in the city, this place boasts of: 1) A-1 entrance security system, 2) proximity to interesting places (baht bus to Nong Prajak Park and the like; 8-min walk to Central Plaza, main bus station, UD Town night market, train station, etc), 3) cheap but with great quality and interesting neighb...

The hotel which has 8 rooms was built in 2013 and is run by a kind Thai couple. I suspect they or at least one of them has had elaborate experience in the hotel business in the higher scale segment, since it is rare to come across a well thought through design and professionality on such a small scale. The rooms are large and has the amenities of a 5 star hotel. We sle...

The Karin Hotel is ideally situated for Shopping and Nightlife in Udon Thani, I was never more than 10 Minutes walk from a Shopping Mail, Nice Restaurant or a Lively Bar. The Room at the Karin had every thing I needed, was very clean throughout from the Carpark, Reception, Customer Ateas and of course the Room. When I'm in Udon Thani again I would be happy to stay at t...

was welcomed with a warm greeting. arrived 9 in mornin but this was not an imposition to staff. nice pool very clean and tidy rooms. definitly value for your bhat. the food from the kitchen tastey and a good price. only downside was lack of kitchen utensils. will return on my next visit to udon thani

really nice clean little hotel, i am now staying in UD hotel in centre of udon but it is dirty, noisy and not as good as le luxe . LE LUX is best hotel i have ever stayed in udon thani, very very quiet, clean with friendly staff. just past mcdonalds about 5 minute walk to city centre. i highly reccommend this place.
Cheap places to stay in Udon Thani City Center

I had travelled to Udon Thani becasue of a job. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The location is about 11 minutes away from the railway station and it cost me 100 baht to get there. be careful of tuk tuk drivers one charged me 300 when I firsr arrived. there are many nice restauarants within walking distance and the central plaza is a 5 minutes ri...

I am writing this review in Chiang Rai. I met a lady in the lotus lake and she recommend this hostel to me. I've never seen a hostel with a comfortable and big-size( for a hostel standard) like here. Everything here is just perfect. DIY breakfast, free mineral water and bicycles, spotlessly clean bathroom(even equipped with high-quality shampoos), helpful and fri...

If you just want somewhere to stay this must be one of the best value places in Thailand. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and clean. They provided everything they could for a small hotel such ad hot drinks and snacks in the lobby. The location is great for town and the airport. I will certainly come here again next time I stop over in Ud...

Only stayed one night but the place is really nice with good facilities. We had a kitchen with microwave and somewhere to sit and eat. The lounge was separate with lots of space and a tv. Bedroom big and spacious with lots of room for clothes if you were staying for a couple of weeks. The only negative and it's more because my girlfriend is Thai is the lack of hot wate...

The room is so cute and no extra bed. Beside that, easy to find local food along the road. The Hotel far from night market(Fri-Sun). Near The Udon Thani Rajabhat University(200m ) and Mini Tesco. Some staff are not friendly and helpful. We must find places or Tuk Tuk by myself.

I've stayed here on previous trips to Udon Thani. Close to Nong Prajac park, Ban Huey market, seven/eleven. It's quite a walk (30 mins) from Central Plaza or UD town near the trainstation,5-10 mins with songthaew (pick-up truck public transport) which costs 10 baht. Will stay there again on my future visits to Udon Thani.

It's a decent hotel. quite a bit off the tourist track and very peaceful. Don't be fooled by the photos however, they're specifically the deluxe rooms. the standard rooms are around the back and much smaller but it's very peaceful day/night free wifi hot shower air/con nice gardens it's great for a morning flight in Udon for following day.

I stayed for 6 nights in this hotel. The rooms are big, clean, and brand New. The staff at the reception should learn some English cause they did'nt speak one word. But I would really recommend the hotel. You need your own transport. It's far out of Town at the ringroad.

if you like always in thailand dont take the star rating to serious the rungsri is a no frills budget guesthouse rooms are clean and look well maintained with basic features.staff is very helpful and a safe and quite sleep seems certain.during my three nights stay we had one time rooms service. we arrived early at 9.00 and had to pay baht plus in order to get the room...

Just the time for grab my phone and booked a different place in town, because after the horrible no-welcome from the lady, didn’t say anything else than “agoda”, she open my bungalow stuffed in mosquito and disappeared. The place is lost no service and no way to buy food or have a dinner. I realised just later from the taxi driver bring me to centara hotel, this place ...

I like the fact that the guesthouse is in a quiet neighborhood with nearby food stalls and local restaurants, while at the same time only a short walk to all of the action that is central Udon. The small outside sitting area with free coffee and biscuits is relaxing. Ths owners and staff are gracious.

If you don't mind staying out of the city a bit it's probably the best value for money in Udon . Nice big rooms in a relaxing surrounding . Huge bathroom , good aircon , good bed . Only downpoint is that you need transport to get to town . Will sure stay again she in Udon .

This place has met above my expectation for the price I booked at. Clean beds and facilities, with helpful staffs. I haven't stayed at a hotel in Udon Thani before, so I can't compare this hotel with similarly priced hotels, but I thought the place was a great value. While located a bit far from most places, there's a nice park a few minute walk away. The night market is about a 20 min walk from the hotel. Check-in/check-out process is very quick, staff is friendly, and they have e...

Stayed for one night, wanted to be near the airport. Was about 20 minutes away. The manager drove me out to the airport for a minimal charge of a 100 baht (taxi wanted 200-300 for the same ride). The room had adequate internet, new facilities, satellite TV (but with limited channels in English. The bathroom was large, with a nice shower. The staff was very attentive, a...

It was nearly perfect, and that for a low room rate, which is probably because Udon Thani is just a small city. The staff is kind but can’t speak much English. The room is clean and large, even the bathroom, there is a kind of balcony which is mainly used for the outdoor air condition unit, it works very well and can cool down the room effectively, and it’s a modern on...

On seeing the huge room we were in and the quality of the fittings,I was delighted. the room with the addition of a small kitchen could be considered a condo. the staff were nhelpful and although they admitted to aiming at the thai market made me extremely welcome. the breakfast is for thai's and the owner asked for suggestions as to some new items, i said omelette,...

Definitely the best hotel in Udon Thani. I made a mistake with the arrival date while booking. The staff gently sorted out my problem without any additional costs! Rare. The bedrooms are spacious and new, especially the Suite with a large bath tub. The breakfast is nice and the bar/restaurant elegant enough to relax and drink a cocktail. Not far from UD town, 7 minutes...
