Solo Traveler”
I'm a solo traveler and I always booked a private room with toilet when traveling as I'm not good with strabgers and new people, but this time my budget went to my ticket 'coz it'a but high compared to my previous travels, so I decided to try capsule inn and I'm glad that I have a pleasant experience with this inn; the toilets are just outside the room, all clean and there are like 5 or more (i'm not sure) so you don't have to worry that no vacant when you needed it. They have also 1 locker per bed that can be open only with your keycard (keycard will be use in opening also the main door, the room door and the locker). It's also convenient when you're traveling DIY because Taipei main station is just like 3-5minutes away,. 7-eleven is just like 1 minute away, and they also have spacious (cafe-like atmosphere/set-up) kitchen with microwave (etc),. Malls, fastfoods, shops are walkable,. I'm in a all female room and during my stay it's not noisy, though I can see that all beds were occupied, I'm outside during the day so I only came back around 11pm and go out before 8am and had a good sleep,.. What I like the most is the shower, the hot water is working well, so I was able to shower so late or so early without getting cold because it's 19degrees when I arrived there. If you want to try capsule inn and scared to try because you're solo, you try Bouty city capsule inn - based on my experience, if given a chance to visit taipei again, i will stay here again. A Great Place to Stay”
I recently stayed at the Bouti City Capsule Inn for two nights, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is incredibly convenient, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions and enjoy the local culture. The capsule concept was intriguing, and I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and private my capsule felt. The space was well-designed, providing enough room for sleeping and storing personal belongings. The bed was cozy, and the ambient lighting created a relaxing atmosphere. The common areas were a highlight of my stay. The lounge was a great place to unwind, equipped with comfortable seating and a variety of entertainment options. The shared bathrooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, with modern fixtures and plenty of hot water. The staff at Bouti City Capsule Inn were exceptional. They were friendly, helpful, and always available to assist with any questions or needs. Their local recommendations for dining and sightseeing were spot-on, enhancing my overall experience in the city. One of the best aspects of staying here was the proximity to must-try food stalls and convenience stores. Just a short walk away, I discovered some of the best local street food, which is the pepper cake. These food stall is a culinary adventure that shouldn't be missed. Additionally, the Inn provided excellent amenities, including free Wi-Fi and secure lockers. The attention to detail and thoughtful touches made my stay incredibly enjoyable. Overall, my stay at Bouti City Capsule Inn was wonderful, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, comfortable, and affordable lodging option in the city. Awesome location and spacious capsule”
Best capsule hotel - great location and spacious clean capsule. By Taipei station, you can use the underground path walk and go towards Z area station front metro mall exit Z8 (7-10 min walk, no exposure to outside weather). Upon checkin, I was greeted by friendly Yoyo. She explained the key security system which uses QR code (link sent to your email, must bring hp at all times) and key card for locker. I booked the shared 8 bedder female only dorm. The capsule is spacious with super single spring pocketed mattress while the bed frame is queen size, meaning you have extra space to put your stuff (in addition to your locker which is big too). Do note there’s no usb charging, only normal plug (2). They also provide a plastic container for your shower stuff (so thoughtful).The bathroom area is unisex, but have so much privacy as each stall has wash basin, WC and shower all in one ( but remember to lock the door). There 4 shower stalls on each level 3 and 4, you can use either levels depending on availability (I did not have to queue). Level 3 stall 1 and 2 has the best water pressure. In addition to these complete shower stalls, there’s also individual common area wash basins and WC. The lights off in the room is automatic at 10pm and will come on upon motion sensor (no need for someone to switch on or off). Common pantry area have portable cold and hot water as well as full kitchen amenities. They also have a public cafe at the reception which makes aromatic coffee. This place is so convenient and comfortable that I don’t mind staying long term.

They let me check in an hour early and the process was smooth. They will send an email with the link that you can use to generate a QR code to unlock the main door and the door to your room. They also provided a card that you can use to access your locker. Towels are available for rent at NTD50. I stayed in a room on the 3rd floor and the bed was spacious. It has 2 sockets and 2 different light settings. The room has a comfortable temperature but a thick blanket is included in the bed in case it gets too cold for you. The locker provided to me is big enough for all my things but it couldn't fit my medium-sized luggage so I just left it in front of my locker (It could easily fit a small luggage though). The 3rd floor has 4 bathrooms with toilet (although 1 was under maintenance during my stay) and I never had to queue to use one. There are also 2 separate toilets and 2 sinks outside the toilets. There's even a clothes drying area which is nice and I personally had to use because I got drenched in the rain on my first day. They also have a big kitchen with complete equipment, and a laundry area where you can use their washing machine and dryer for NTD50 each. Overall, as a solo traveler, I feel that this accommodation has everything I needed and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Taiwan.

The location is very convenient to travel from Taipei Main Station and Ximen street. I could go to Ximen every night to shopping and came back at night by walking. There is common area for eating and drinking. Very easy when we buy takaways or just feel like resting our legs a bit before go upstairs and take shower. I like that they have rules that around night time until morning, guests are not allowed to do luggage packing or use hair drier in the room. So other guests can have some rest. But we can do the packing outside the dorm room and use hair drier in the common area, which is very nice :). It is very safe because each person gets a qr code to unlock the dorm room and a keycard for the locker. The locker is huge. It fits my big luggage perfectly. Automatic lights in the dorm will turns on when someone enters the room or get out of the bed at night. They turned of when no one is in the passage in the room, which is very cool. My concerns was that the floor on the hallway in the dorm floor is all carpet. It is quiet bc we cannot hear the baggage wheel or foot steps. But stepping out side from the toilet, shower and later enter the dorm felt unclean bc. carpet is not easy to clean like tiles and they collect dust. Lastly, i think the capsule was quite dusty for example, the edge of the mattress. I think if they use vacuum once in a while would be nice. Overall I think this hostel is very suitable for a solo traveler :) It worths the money
