“Union Hotel: Hit a Home Run in Toronto!”
Our recent stay at the Union Hotel in Toronto was truly exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the staff's warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The check-in process was seamless, and we were immediately impressed by the stylish and modern design of the lobby, which is set up as a nice place to work. Our room was a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the room was impeccably clean. We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, such as the high-speed Wi-Fi, the selection of coffee and teas, and the very impressive rainfall shower with a seemingly endless hot water supply. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. Being so close to Union Station made it incredibly convenient to get around the city. For those driving, there's also convenient nearby underground parking at the Green P. Plus, many of Toronto's top attractions are within easy walking distance, including the Rogers Centre for Blue Jays baseball games and the Scotiabank Arena for Maple Leafs hockey games. Overall, our experience at the Union Hotel was nothing short of perfect. The combination of excellent service, stylish accommodations, and a prime location makes it a top choice for anyone visiting Toronto. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again in the future!

“Do not understand the hype”
This place seemed to get great reviews on nearly ever website I checked, however I would not stay here again. I almost never write reviews but I was so disappointed in my stay here I felt compelled to. The good: nice lobby, very friendly staff, very comfy bed/pillows/blankets, excellent location (however there are other hotels closer to union station than this one...) The bad: - room was extremely small. I knew this going in, but damn it was even smaller than I thought - the bathroom was extremely cramped, mine was much smaller than what was in the sample room photos. I had to shimmy past the toilet to get to the shower. My knees almost touched the wall while setting on the toilet, and I am not tall. Fan also did not work. - The HVAC system in the room was the worst I've ever dealt with in a hotel. It was either off, blasting hot air directly at the bed, or blasting cold air directly at the bad. When I say blasting, I mean BLASTING. It was extremely loud, earplugs needed. - Insulation from the outside was terrible. Was on the 7th floor and road noise was very loud. There was also a LOT of cold leaking into the room from the outside. The floor outside the bathroom was consistently freezing - The breakfast at the restaurant downstairs was the worst I have had in years The look of everything was nice, but a fancy new lobby and a fresh coat of paint does not hide the fact that the underlying building and facilities are 92 years old. Do with that what you will!

“Convenient ”
Stayed in this hotel which is near Union Station during a layover between my flight and VIA train, and the experience was convenient and comfortable. The room was compact but well-equipped with all the essentials, making it perfect for a short stay. The location is unbeatable for travelers needing quick access to Union Station, and the overall value for the price was excellent. While the room size might feel small for extended stays, it’s ideal for layovers or short visits. Highly recommended for travelers seeking efficiency and convenience.

“Great stay in central location”
I needed to stay somewhere near Union Station and the Union Hotel was perfect! Room was smaller but very clean, modern, and well appointed. I didn't get a chance to go to the café/lounge in the lobby but it looked lovely when I passed through. I was on the second floor so I did hear some street noise and people yelling but it didn't last that long. The heating unit seemed loud but to be honest I didn't mind it since I like to sleep with white noise.
